Online testing is critical to ensuring reliable operations of the next generation of supercomputers based on a kilo-core network-on-chip(NoC)interconnection *** present a parallel software-based self-testing(SBST)solution that makes use of the bounded model checking(BMC)technique to generate test sequences and parallel *** this method,the parallel SBST with BMC derives the leading sequence for each router’s internal function and detects all functionally-testable faults related to the function.A Monte-Carlo simulation algorithm is then used to search for the approximately optimum configuration of the parallel packets,which guarantees the test quality and minimizes the test ***,a multi-threading technology is used to ensure that the Monte-Carlo simulation can reach the approximately optimum configuration in a large random space and reduce the generating time of the parallel *** results show that the proposed method achieves a high fault coverage with a reduced test ***,by performing online testing in the functional mode with SBST,it effectively avoids the over-testing problem caused by functionally untestable turns in kilo-core NoCs.

Building an Adaptive Cooperative Transmission Mechanism for Multimedia Convergence System

In people's daily lives, electronic mail, audio-visual media platforms, and communication software all have the need for file transmission. This article proposes a digital aggregation system with an adaptive collaborative transmission mechanism. By using traditional UDP and TCP transmission protocols, the file transmission method is adaptively adjusted based on the file type, file size, and network conditions of the device. Through these selection parameters, the file has the most suitable and optimized transmission and upload mode during the transmission process. This article proposes a transmission mode that combines transmission speed and file integrity, systematically examining the existing transmission environment and improving traditional transmission protocols. The communication protocol method proposed through this method is 2.5% faster than traditional transmission protocols for image file transmission. Compared to traditional transmission protocols, the transmission speed of audio files is 1.07% faster. Compared to traditional transmission protocols, video file transmission speed is 1.21% faster. This study adopts a collaborative communication transmission mechanism, which accelerates the transmission speed of multiple clients obtaining files from the server by 1.2% compared to a non-collaborative communication transmission mechanism. The client can still connect to the server at a slower time. This mechanism can accelerate download speed and make it easier to obtain files. Combining with the transmission platform, examining the environmental conditions of the device can be applied to optimize the transmission between servers and clients. An Opportunistic Network (OppNet), as opposed to a ubiquitous centralized network, relies on sporadic and opportunistic encounters between nodes to facilitate communication. The uncertainty about the node's nature presents challenges when nodes with malicious intents are present in the network. One category of malicious nodes includes blackhole nodes, which receive messages but drop them intentionally. In this paper, we introduce a novel trust function designed to detect blackhole nodes within the network. Our function has been widely tested and simulated to validate and increase the efficacy of transmission of messages in the network. We have performed a comparative analysis with various protocols (PROPHET, Epidemic and Spray And Wait) on several parameters such as Delivery Ratio, Overhead Ratio and Number of Messages dropped. The results demonstrate that our trust function is able to correctly detect and avoid blackhole nodes. We observed significant improvement in delivery ratio in Epidemic Routing (47%), Prophet (41%), and Spray And Wait Routing (17%) protocols when adjusting blackhole nodes while keeping the total network nodes constant. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, cloud-native applications have been widely hosted and managed in containerized environments due to their unique benefits, such as being lightweight, portable, and cost-efficient. Their growing popularity makes them a common subject of cyberthreats, as evidenced by recent attacks. Many of those attacks take place due to malicious code injection to breach systems and steal sensitive data from a containerized environment. However, existing solutions fail to classify malicious code injection attacks that impact multiple levels (e.g., application and orchestrator). In this paper, we fill in this gap and propose a multi-level monitoring-based approach where we monitor container activities at both the system call level and the container orchestrator (e.g., Kubernetes) level. Specifically, our approach can distinguish between the expected and unexpected behavior of a container from various system call characteristics (e.g., sequence, frequency, etc.) along with the activities through event logs at the orchestrator level to detect malicious code injection attacks. We implement our approach for Kubernetes, a major container orchestrator, and evaluate it against various attack paths outlined by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), an open-source foundation for cloud native computing. © 2024 by SCITEPRESS – science and Technology Publications, Lda.

This paper introduces a novel approach aimed at enhancing online education by placing a central focus on students' emotional well-being and improving their learning experiences. The approach integrates four key machine learning technologies: behavioral expression analysis, a personalized chatbot for emotional support, voice stress detection, and visual content description. Through empirical findings, the study illustrates the effectiveness of these methods in bolstering students' emotional well-being and academic performance. By providing a roadmap for the advancement of online education and emotional support, this research holds promise for delivering substantial benefits to learners worldwide. The study showcases notable advancements in online education, reporting a 30% rise in perceived emotional support and a 25% increase in overall satisfaction. The personalized emotional support chatbot achieved an 85% accuracy in addressing students' emotional needs, while voice stress detection boasted a 90% accuracy in identifying anxiety. Additionally, visual content description led to a 20% improvement in comprehension. These findings highlight the approach's potential to elevate both emotional well-being and academic performance in online learners. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper we propose an improved recipe recommendation system that employs image recognition of food ingredients. The system is currently a mobile application that performs image recognition on uploaded or camera-captured images and recommends recipes containing the recognized ingredients. We used the ResNet-V2 architecture to build a convolutional neural network model for image recognition, which was able to identify 33 different food ingredients with an accuracy rate of 89%. The recommendation system uses the identified ingredient labels, as well as user preferences and restrictions, to display a list of recipes containing the identified ingredients. This feature allows users to discover new and exciting recipes based on the ingredients they currently have at home, without having to worry about dietary restrictions or other preferences. Overall, our system provides a convenient and personalized way for users to discover and prepare delicious meals based on their unique needs and preferences. © 2023 IEEE.

In cricket training, preventing injuries and developing skills are of utmost importance, especially concerning the school cricketers. This research presents a web application, 'CricBoost' which would serve to address all these vital issues through a multifaceted strategy. This study offers batsman pose accuracy assessment and correction using MediaPipe and Random Forest algorithm, Analysis of bowling and grip using MediaPipe, VGG16 and Gradient Boost models for classification and Shap for providing suggestions on the optimal methods, Suggestion of Shot selection for Batsman, where YOLOv8 and OpenCV are applied to ball pitch analysis and the player is given suggestions about the right shot to take, and cricket drill recommendation system focused on targeted skill improvement of players. CricBoost will deliver a unique combination that will increase players' technical skills, strategic intelligence, and performance while simultaneously focusing on injury prevention by teaching correct techniques. © 2024 IEEE.

Leukemia, a malignant disease characterized by the rapid proliferation of specific types of white blood cells (WBC), has prompted increased interest in leveraging automatic WBC classification system. This study presents the design of a robust WBC classification system, integrating deep learning with microscopic image analysis. The proposed classification model is designed to categorize blood cells into four distinct groups: eosinophil, lymphocyte, monocyte, and neutrophil. The study employs a Kaggle image dataset for comprehensive learning. The dataset comprises 12,500 microscopic images used to categorize the four blood cell groups. To enhance performance and reduce the likelihood of overfitting, transfer learning techniques are employed. Six deep transfer learning models namely VGG16, ResNet50, AlexNet, MobileNet, GoogLeNet, and EfficientNetBO are used for feature extraction and classification. The results of the experiments show that VGG16 and MobileNet demonstrated enhancements compared to other pre-trained models when evaluated on both augmented and original datasets. A diverse set of evaluation criteria was employed to thoroughly assess the effectiveness of medical image classification. Notably, the VGG16 and MobileNet models accurately predicted Lymphocytes and Monocytes with a 100% accuracy rate, and Eosinophil and Neutrophil with rates of 99.35% and 99.81%, respectively. This research work empower medical practitioners, particularly in the field of pathology and hematology by providing advanced tools for accurate blood cell classification. The proposed VGG16 and MobileNet models hold promise for simplifying WBC classification, improving decision-making processes, and ultimately advancing patient care in the medical domain. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.
