Time and acceleration constraints have been extensively considered in flight vehicle path planning area. However, the limits of the required acceleration guaranteeing the existence of a path has not been fully studied yet. This paper presents an algebraic proof of the minimax curvature path connecting two oriented points with one inflection point, and then the minimal required acceleration and flight time are analyzed for all planar scenarios. It is revealed that for some geometry conditions, there exists a specific combination of curvature and range limits, while for other conditions, this combination can change continuously by increasing one and decreasing another. For all cases, the optimal paths are concatenations of circular arcs of equivalent radii in different forms, which means that to reduce the acceleration and flight time to the utmost, the overload should be evenly distributed along the whole path. The results in this paper can support fast on-line path planning in the presence of incident direction constraint with limited maneuverability and fuel. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Radar sensors are important detection and tracking equipment in national defense work. There are multiple targets in actual combat scenarios. It is necessary to quickly and accurately capture suspicious targets in the reconnaissance area and track them in real time. Complex electromagnetic interference conditions and multi-target tracking requirements pose a great challenge to track correlation. This paper establishes a multi-target maneuver scenario and uses a joint probabilistic data interconnection algorithm based on interactive multi-model (IMM) to perform multi-target tracking. Correlation tracking, simulation results show that the algorithm is used to correlate the target maneuver and measurement information with good accuracy. Interactive multi-model filtering can mix the estimation results of each filter to generate a fused state estimation result. The description of the model is more accurate, which improves the tracking accuracy and tracking stability of the algorithm. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In order to ensure the confidence of hardware-in-the-loop(HWIL) simulation results, the simulation equipment and system are required to simulate the realistic flight environment;However, the additional error introduced by the simulation system in the guidance and control loop should be minimized. By studying the error model of the aircraft HWIL simulation system and analyzing the impact of the HWIL simulation system on the guidance and control quality, we can recognize the real performance of the guidance and control system, find out the key factors affecting the performance of the HWIL simulation system, provide decision-making basis for the development of simulation equipment, and improve and enhance the reliability of the simulation system. Based on BP wavelet neural network, the mathematical modeling of the aircraft HWIL simulation system error is carried out, and the modeling method and process are introduced in detail. A new method of aircraft HWIL simulation system error modeling with input and output data is proposed, and the applicability of modeling method is analyzed, and satisfactory accuracy results are obtained. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In order to deal with the influence of dilution passive decoy jamming on target selection of UAV radar, and to enable UAV radar have more independent decision-making ability to acquire the naval ship correctly in an ocean battlefield scene containing single real ship and multiple passive decoys, a method which established the mathematical simulation model of jamming scene, and used the model as the fitness function to calculate the adequacy measurement parameters of subjective Bayesian reasoning through genetic optimization algorithm is proposed. This method is applied to UAV radar target selection, compared with traditional target selection methods using single target feature, this method can improve the accuracy of ship acquisition by comprehensive using multi-dimensional target features. Moreover, this method can further improve the joint acquisition accuracy by setting multiple adequacy measurement parameters for different radars, which prove that the method can achieve the purpose of improving the success rate of UAV radar against dilution passive decoy jamming. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this paper, the design and optimization of multi-aircraft cooperative guidance law with multi-constraint is studied for high-speed and large maneuvering targets. Firstly, the motion of the aircraft and the target are analyzed in the inertial coordinate system. The relative motion model and the corresponding state equation are established in a plane. Then, based on the sliding mode control method, the multi-constrained ballistic forming guidance law of the lead aircraft is designed to make it hit the target in multiple dimensions. Finally, the aircraft-to-target range and line-of-sight angle of the aircraft are selected as the state variables to be controlled, and the multi-constrained cooperative guidance law is designed for the follow aircraft. So that the motion of follow aircraft can track the lead aircraft accurately, the controlled state variables converges quickly, and hit the target at the same time until the end. The simulation results show that the leader-follower cooperative guidance law designed in this paper is effective for intercepting high-speed and large maneuvering targets. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Integrated navigation technology is widely used in aviation, aerospace, sailing and other ground-based navigation equipment, the inertial navigation system (INS) is the most common tool. In practice, the key to navigation is precise position, and the position is cooperated with the image matching. According to the label results after image matching, the position of sensor can be calculated. However, the label results cannot be get in every period, what’ more, he output results of the inertial navigation system (INS) is with big error, thus the article studied an algorithm of INS error correction based on the intermittent label measurement, in which the cubature kalman filter is used. After that, it also studied the influencing factor of the labels, such as the label error by match, the count of label, the area of label, thus the INS positioning error can be reduced in line with the engineering guarantee. © 2022, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

This paper introduces in detail the origin of the development of automatic control methods, applications and current research hotspots. It also introduces some control methods commonly used in industrial and agricultural production, and expounds the current application hotspots and new advanced control methods that are developing rapidly. The background, current situation and classification of the inverted pendulum platform are introduced in detail. In the first chapter, the LQR method in modern control theory is introduced in detail. The influence of parameters is analyzed through simulink space modeling and simulation control experiment. At the same time, the real-time experiment is also done in combination with the hardware platform. In the second chapter, the fuzzy control theory in intelligent control is introduced in detail. By combining fuzzy control with LQR method, suitable LQR parameters are calculated by pole assignment. After proper adjustment, reasonable fuzzy rules are adopted and adaptive fuzzy control principle is applied to adjust the control situation in real time. Using simulink space modeling, a good simulation control effect is obtained. Finally, the summary is made.

This article proposes a distributed consensus-based formation tracking and dynamic obstacle avoidance method for fixed wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The tracking target moves along a pre-set geometric path, while other UAVs automatically track the target to form various distributed formation shapes and always perform dynamic collision avoidance. The fixed wing UAVs in this article form a distributed formation based on information exchange between neighbors, and further the formation process is improved by incorporating position allocation into the formation transformation. Firstly, the fixed wing UAV is modeled and simplified. Secondly, a basic formation control protocol is designed based on consensus strategy, and a tracking target feedback is added on it. Then, an anti-collision controller and a variable formation position allocation strategy are designed to avoid the collision. Finally, the effectiveness of the presented method is verified through numerical simulations. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Optimal Multi-Perturbation and Multi-Constraint Mission Planning for On-Orbit Refueling in Geo Satellites

On-Orbit Refueling (OOR) mission planning for Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) satellites is of significant importance for enhancing spacecraft service efficiency and reducing operational losses during mission execution. To address the challenges posed by multi-perturbation and multi-constraint in space on OOR mission planning, this paper proposes a Multi-Perturbation Compensation Bi-Level Planning Model (MPC-BPM). This model aims to solve the issues of trajectory deviation control during satellite transfer under multi-perturbation and optimal task allocation under multi-constraint. Firstly, a perturbation compensation model is constructed to account for various perturbative factors involved in OOR mission planning, such as the J2 nonspherical perturbation, solar radiation pressure, and three-body gravity. Subsequently, in the outer layer of MPC-BPM, an Improved Genetic Algorithm (IGA) is proposed to optimize the allocation and sequencing of service tasks, addressing discrete variables and combinatorial optimization problems to enhance the rationality of task scheduling and execution efficiency. In the inner layer of MPC-BPM, combined with the perturbation compensation model, a Velocity-updated Neural Population Dynamics Optimization Algorithm (VNPDOA) is proposed to handle continuous variables and complex nonlinear optimization problems, achieving optimal fuel consumption under multi-constraint conditions. Simulations using real satellite data reveal that MPC-BPM surpasses three other comparative models in convergence speed, fuel efficiency, and trajectory accuracy, conserving a minimum of 350 kg of fuel under identical conditions. After applying the perturbation compensation model, the cumulative error during orbital transfers is significantly reduced, and the transfer precision is improved to the 0.001 km level. Liquid metal-based microchannel heat sinks (MCHSs) suffer from the low heat capacity of coolant, resulting in an excessive temperature rise of coolant and heat sink when dealing with high-power heat dissipation. In this paper, it was found that expanded space at the top of fins could distribute the heat inside microchannels, reducing the temperature rise of coolant and heat sink. The orthogonal experiments revealed that expanding the top space of channels yielded similar temperature reductions to changing the channel width. The flow and thermal modeling of expanded microchannel heat sink (E-MCHS) were analyzed by both using the 3-dimensional (3D) numerical simulation and the 1-dimensional (1D) thermal resistance model. The fin efficiency of E-MCHS was derived to improve the accuracy of the 1D thermal resistance model. The heat conduction of liquid metal in Z direction and the heat convection between the top surface of fins and the liquid metal could reduce the total thermal resistance (Rt). The above process was effective for microchannels with low channel aspect ratio, low mean velocity (Um) or long heat sink length. The maximum thermal resistance reduction in the example of this paper reached 36.0%. The expanded space endowed the heat sink with lower pressure, which might further reduce the pumping power (P). This rule was feasible both when fins were truncated (h_(2) < 0, h_(2) is the height of expanded channel for E-MCHS) and when over plate was raised (h_(2) > 0).
