Myocarditis is a serious cardiovascular ailment that can lead to severe consequences if not promptly *** is triggered by viral infections and presents symptoms such as chest pain and heart *** detection is crucial for successful treatment,and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging(CMR)is a valuable tool for identifying this ***,the detection of myocarditis using CMR images can be challenging due to low contrast,variable noise,and the presence of multiple high CMR slices per *** overcome these challenges,the approach proposed incorporates advanced techniques such as convolutional neural networks(CNNs),an improved differential evolution(DE)algorithm for pre-training,and a reinforcement learning(RL)-based model for *** this method presented a significant challenge due to the imbalanced classification of the Z-Alizadeh Sani myocarditis dataset from Omid Hospital in *** address this,the training process is framed as a sequential decision-making process,where the agent receives higher rewards/penalties for correctly/incorrectly classifying the minority/majority ***,the authors suggest an enhanced DE algorithm to initiate the backpropagation(BP)process,overcoming the initialisation sensitivity issue of gradient-based methods like back-propagation during the training *** effectiveness of the proposed model in diagnosing myocarditis is demonstrated through experimental results based on standard performance ***,this method shows promise in expediting the triage of CMR images for automatic screening,facilitating early detection and successful treatment of myocarditis.

The study of user opinions about products and services expressed in the form of unstructured texts in the Uzbek language and accessible through social networks is an important area of research. User opinion surveys measure user satisfaction and feedback about products and services. Analysis of unstructured texts in Uzbek written by users on social networks can help in identifying the positive and negative aspects of products and services, as well as understanding the needs and preferences of users. To conduct research, it is necessary to use natural language processing and text analysis methods. This may include the use of machine learning algorithms, sentiment analysis, topic modeling and other techniques to extract information from unstructured text data. An important aspect of such research is taking into account the features of the Uzbek language, its vocabulary and grammar. It is necessary to take into account context, semantics and cultural characteristics when analyzing user opinions in the Uzbek language. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to conduct deep learning experiments on Uzbek language text classes using long short - term memory models, convolutional neural networks and transformer-based deep learning models such as the multilingual Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers model. © 2024 IEEE.

Hair editing is a critical image synthesis task that aims to edit hair color and hairstyle using text descriptions or reference images, while preserving irrelevant attributes (e.g., identity, background, cloth). Many existing methods are based on StyleGAN to address this task. However, due to the limited spatial distribution of StyleGAN, it struggles with multiple hair color editing and facial preservation. Considering the advancements in diffusion models, we utilize Latent Diffusion Models (LDMs) for hairstyle editing. Our approach introduces Multi-stage Hairstyle Blend (MHB), effectively separating control of hair color and hairstyle in diffusion latent space. Additionally, we train a warping module to align the hair color with the target region. To further enhance multi-color hairstyle editing, we fine-tuned a CLIP model using a multi-color hairstyle dataset. Our method not only tackles the complexity of multi-color hairstyles but also addresses the challenge of preserving original colors during diffusion editing. Extensive experiments showcase the superiority of our method in editing multi-color hairstyles while preserving facial attributes given textual descriptions and reference images. © 2024 Neural information processing systems foundation. Given maize’s significant role as a staple crop, it becomes imperative to carry out precise crop yield prediction to ensure food security. This research employs machine learning algorithms to analyze historical data related to maize crop yields, with the aim of developing a predictive model. The outcome of this study can serve as a valuable tool for pre-harvest planning and measuring crop production per unit of land area. The dataset utilized in this research spans from 2010 to 2021 and was sourced from Ethiopia’s Central Statistical Agency. Three machine learning regression algorithms—Logistic Regression, XGBoost, and Random Forest—were employed to design the predictive model. After data preparation and preprocessing, a total of 436,358 records were used for model development. The models were further trained with reduced features using principal component analysis (PCA). The experimental results demonstrate that the Random Forest algorithm, trained with a reduced number of features through PCA, yielded superior performance, with a lower error rate and a high R2 score of 0.98. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Radiology report generation is the manual task assigned to radiologists which analyze the given chest image (x-ray) of patient and generates the report based on that analysis. Many of the research is undergoing in this field to make this process automatic. However, there are a large number of difficulties which have been faced by the researchers while developing the efficient automatic report generation model. The main difficulties include the generation of clinically inaccurate reports when analyzed with the reports of the expert radiologist. The introduction of deep learning based approaches achieved tremendous advancement in these areas and can produce chest X-ray reports in a more accurate manner. BY further optimizing the deep learning based approaches, we proposed a reinforcement learning-based model that generates automated X-ray reports based on input chest X-ray images. We also developed a lookahead inference mechanism to overcome the limitation of beam search, which selects words based on policy and value networks at each particular step of time. The proposed model achieved 0.454, 0.546, 0.466, 0.410, and 0.424 for the Bleu-1, Bleu-2, Bleu-3, Bleu-4, and Rouge evaluation metrics, respectively, surpassing all available state-of-the-art algorithms. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Digital transformation allows organizations to maintain sustainable development and address ongoing challenges. The current digital transformation and advanced technology mega-trend significantly impact society and organizations, making digital technology crucial for public and private organizations, universities, and daily life. Despite the rising demand, there is often a lack of standard policies governing the use of digital technology. Practical experience and literature reveal key challenges in transitioning from traditional to digital systems, including limited public awareness, mindset, ICT skills, government support, and collaboration between organizations and software engineering societies. Governments must establish digital transformation policies and offer software development guidelines for public organizations to digitalize their systems. Additionally, they should provide or support research projects funded by governmental and nongovernmental organizations to identify infrastructure and regulatory issues within Afghanistan’s digital transformation context. This study documents six organizational patterns observed during the transformation of traditional systems into digital systems, illustrating their sequence and explaining the development of a pattern language from these patterns.

Determining the most opportune moments, locations, and methods for such contributions presents a significant challenge for organizations, which necessitates the exploration of generic and proven solutions. Applying patterns, established and observed solutions may provide the answers to such challenges and similar ones. This paper offers insights into the practical implementation of seven newly discovered organizational patterns in a real-life environment. The patterns are comprehensively described, accompanied by illustrative examples, and subsequently applied in actual practices.

Learning disabilties are frequently overlooked while treating various limitations. The primary causes for such a dropout might be a lack of awareness of the risks and access to adequate medical care. Because Learning Disabilities are neurological illnesses, their etiology is unknown. Learning Disabilities do not have a therapy or a cure. Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia are the most common types of Learning Dis-abilities among school children. There are numerous approaches for diagnosing and treating this ailment available today. The optimal method is to make use of a mobile application. Existing applications either do not adequately handle the problem or have minor limitations in terms of meeting genuine expectations. We can mitigate this dysfunction by utilizing mobile and simulation-based technologies. Furthermore, earlier research has not given contact and curiosity among children a significant emphasis and children have not interacted with robots. Therefore, this paper, introduces interactive and collaborative mobile appli-cation called 'Helply' with a robotic based simulation that may foster learning and help children improve and encour-age Color identification skills, Reading skills and Short-term memory skills the learning process while reducing their other dyslexic disorders. Also, NAO Robot is used to taking inputs as voice clip using voice recognition technology and images using image processing technology which embedded in NAO robot. We constructed three models for three distinct disorders and obtained accurate findings. CNN model for colour disorder had a training accuracy of 93%, FFNN model for short-term memory disorder had a training accuracy of 98%, and CNN model for reading disorder had a training accuracy of 94%. © 2022 IEEE.

Despite achieving remarkable performance, Federated Learning (FL) encounters two important problems, i.e., low training efficiency and limited computational resources. In this article, we propose a new FL framework, i.e., FedDUMAP, with three original contributions, to leverage the shared insensitive data on the server in addition to the distributed data in edge devices so as to efficiently train a global model. First, we propose a simple dynamic server update algorithm, which takes advantage of the shared insensitive data on the server while dynamically adjusting the update steps on the server in order to speed up the convergence and improve the accuracy. Second, we propose an adaptive optimization method with the dynamic server update algorithm to exploit the global momentum on the server and each local device for superior accuracy. Third, we develop a layer-adaptive model pruning method to carry out specific pruning operations, which is adapted to the diverse features of each layer so as to attain an excellent tradeoff between effectiveness and efficiency. Our proposed FL model, FedDUMAP, combines the three original techniques and has a significantly better performance compared with baseline approaches in terms of efficiency (up to 16.9 times faster), accuracy (up to 20.4% higher), and computational cost (up to 62.6% smaller). © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). There are considered theoretical approaches for the implementation of a web-based learning environment of higher education institutions as a type of online-based learning environment and network surroundings, which provides registered participants of virtual learning communities with access to the functions of knowledge-oriented information exchange using the latest social software communication tools. The central element of the study was obtaining new results regarding to the web-based learning environment and the relevance of the contexts of its functioning. Approaches based on virtual communities and knowledge networks are singled out as basic theoretical approaches. The role of virtual learning communities is substantiated and their main constructive elements for implementation in the web-based learning environment of the university were given. It was determined that virtual communications are key elements in the processes of data and knowledge exchange in universities. In the study, learning communication is understood as the processes of data and knowledge exchange between members of the learning community within learning platforms and university learning environments. © 2023 IEEE.
