Attention management in software development proves to be a highly relevant issue. It offers various ways of managing the user's attention using visual perception of the work environment. Awareness of the workplace provides a user with work context which may positively affect the productivity and workflow of a project. However, the work context may also provide the user with arbitrary information. Thus, regulations of incoming workplace information are required throughout the user's work cycle. Furthermore, previous research supports the proposed extensions devised according to the lacking parts in the existing project management system. Furthermore, to stabilize the extensions, results from an experiment conducted on the proof-of-concept designed according to the proposed parts.

This article delves into heterogeneous computing systems, which employ multi-core processors (CPUs) and graphics processing units (GPUs) concurrently, facilitating efficient handling of resource-intensive tasks demanding substantial computing power. Heterogeneous systems primarily serve to judiciously allocate resources among users and computational processes. In this article, the modeling and analysis of the kinetics of the pyrolysis process is carried out, which allows us to determine the rate of chemical reactions occurring during the decomposition of the material, as well as to identify key factors affecting the speed and efficiency of pyrolysis. The simulation was performed using Comsol Multiphysics software based on the kinetic mechanisms of the reaction of biomass of corn cob particles at a temperature of 500°C. The pyrolysis process of plant biomass was analyzed at a residence time of 0 to 10 minutes. The resulting models describe temperature changes well, especially in the center of the biomass. It was found that pyrolysis of corncob biomass occurred in the temperature range from 190 to 432°, at 190°C mass loss began, which ended at 432 °C. The kinetic parameters were calculated using the Kissinger method, and the least squares method and correlation analysis were used to calculate the kinetic constants. The study results will be useful for optimizing the conditions of the biomass pyrolysis process in the future. © 2024 IEEE.

A method for mathematical modeling of multidimensional quasi-static processes, which are generalization of quasi-static processes in equilibrium thermodynamics, is proposed and substantiated. A generalization of the first and second law of thermodynamics in the form of Carathéodory for multidimensional quasi-static processes is obtained. The idea of generalization is the construction of an orthogonal system of functionals similar to the functionals of work and heat of classical thermodynamics along families of phase trajectories corresponding to different types of actions on a multidimensional quasi-static system. The representation of quasi-static processes by systems of ordinary differential equations containing control variables is substantiated. The obtained results make it possible to apply a wide arsenal of methods from the theory of dynamic systems control to solve problems of quasi-static processes control. © 2022 IEEE.

The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of randomness testing using statistical tests in the information Technology Laboratory of the National institute of Standards and Technology (STS NIST) and Move-To-Front test in software implementations of floating-point random number generators and random integer numbers of the MATLAB package and the NumPy Python library. It was found thatin MATLAB package passing the randomness of Move-To-Front test of a sequence which was made up of random integer numbers calculated on the basis of the conversion from floating-point random number generators to random integer numbers depends on the sequence length and the size of the alphabet used to convert from floating-point random number generators to random integer numbers. According to the authors, as this effect is not detected in the NumPy Python library, the result obtained in the workindicates the presence of an internal defect in the algorithm for generating floating-point random number generators MATLAB. © 2023 IEEE.

The purpose of this research paper is to introduce a new navigation algorithm for Robot Operating system (ROS) based robots which will allow complete autonomous traversal in any given indoor environment. Turtle bot3 burger bot is the sample robot chosen for this project. This will be equipped with a Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) scanner with the default settings, ultrasound, Intel Real Sense camera, etc. Environment information gathered via these sensors will be sent into a remote computer for processing since the raspberry pie micro-controller with the turtle bot burger is not enough to carry out a high computation-intensive task. Once the information is received series of tasks will be carried out by the remote personal computer before executing the newly developed navigation algorithm. The data from the LIDAR scanner help to generate a 2-dimensional(2D) potential field graph. Then it will later be used for path planning by navigation algorithm. Furthermore, the Real sense camera is used for object boundary detection to produce more accurate data for the navigation algorithm. Once all the data proceed, data will return to the robot, where the navigation algorithm will start execution in parallel with a recovery behavior algorithm and scan algorithm. The recovery behavior algorithm is responsible for guiding the robot to face away from an obstacle in an event where the predetermined path is obstructed. Furthermore, it is responsible for maintaining accurate data in the cost map. Subsequently, the scanning algorithm will be used to generate maps. © 2022 IEEE.

Despite significant advancements in remote sensing multimodal learning, particularly in image-image feature fusion, the exploration of audio-image feature fusion remains insufficient. Given the complexity and redundancy of ground objects in remote sensing images, accurately aligning audio features with image features during the fusion process is a critical challenge. In this paper, we introduce an object-centric feature fusion method named SlotFusion. By employing a slot attention-based feature decoupling module and a slot-based audiovisual feature fusion module, we transform modality features with complex semantic information into a set of slot features corresponding to object units and use gated activation units to adaptively implement object-centric feature fusion. Experiments on the Audio Visual Aerial Scene Recognition dataset (ADVANCE) demonstrate that the proposed SlotFusion significantly improves remote sensing scene recognition performance, with a 7.04% increase in overall accuracy compared to previous methods, achieving state-of-the-art results.

Achieving a high level of quality in the AV industry involves understanding the complexity of the production cycle with the constant challenges of applying appropriate standards. The need for compliance based on relevant certificates implies the creation of an environment of trust between manufacturers, component suppliers, and end customers. Research should sublimate the most current standards from various fields related to data protection, security, system sustainability, environmental management, financial sustainability, and business transparency. The success of a complex parts supply system is impossible without a stable approach to IT security. The control of production processes sometimes involves using non-standardized techniques, and one of the applicable ones is work-in-progress (WIP), which describes the use of partially finished raw materials in the stages of obtaining final products. Key points and the contribution of the current study are in getting a better overview of the situation within this area related to standards and the financial problems that can arise due to a lack of understanding of standards compliance. The rapid growth and widespread adoption of containerization technologies, such as Docker, and the increasing popularity of Kubernetes as a container orchestration platform have significantly shaped the landscape of modern software development and deployment. Containers have created a paradigm shift in application packaging, offering a consistent and portable environment across diverse infrastructure setups. Meanwhile, Kubernetes has emerged as the dominant choice for managing containerized applications at scale, providing features such as automated scaling, load balancing, and fault tolerance. However, despite the numerous advantages containers and Kubernetes offer, deploying applications to a Kubernetes cluster often poses challenges due to the steep learning curve and complex configuration requirements. To address these challenges, this paper aims to introduce a comprehensive learning tool that automates and simplifies the deployment process on Kubernetes clusters. © 2023 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

Different types of heterogeneous multiple service robots are working in the same environment to help humans in many ways in a smart house. These service robots have different capabilities based on the different control and communication systems. The complexity of the programming of the robots is now reduced by using middleware like Robot Operating system (ROS). However, the communication and control of the heterogeneous service robots using very high-level instruction is still tricky because of differences in ROS topics. If a user has issued a high-level instruction to all multiple heterogeneous robots in the same environment, then all robots must complete the given task without considering the software differences in each robot. This research has developed a web-based interface where users can input high-level instruction to all multiple heterogeneous robots running in the same environment. We have used three levels of instructions. Level 01 moves robot forward for the given speed for some distance without obstacles. Level 02 is to move the robot to a specific location without obstacles. Level 03 is to navigate the robot to a goal with some obstacles in the environment. Initially, all robots need to register their software specifications and hardware specification Format (URDF) in the robot registration engine with the help of the ontology. Then all service robots act according to the instruction given by the interpreter. The proposed system was evaluated using a simulated environment with a gazebo using "Turtlebot"and "Tiago"robots. Time complexity analysis of all algorithms was completed using the Big O notation. © 2022 IEEE.
