This article proposes a novel Peeling of Nano-Particle (PNP) process to locally remove material on a hard material surface using controllable magnetic fields. Fe3O4 particles in the size range of 50-100 nm in aqueous solution (pH value 11 adjusted by KOH) were magnetically controlled to adhere and remove from a 4H-SiC surface by two electromagnetic coils, which were sandwiched between the substrate. The particle controlling phenomenon on the surface was experimentally observed and verified by our developed apparatus applying an evanescent field. According to the results, particles could be controlled to approach and remove from the substrate surface with 12mT of magnetic field at the selective area on the substrate surface to realise the proposed PNP process. © European Society for Precision engineering and Nanotechnology, Conference Proceedings - 22nd International Conference and Exhibition, EUSPEN 2022. Selecting the most relevant subset of features from a dataset is a vital step in data mining and machine *** feature in a dataset has 2n possible subsets,making it challenging to select the optimum collection of features using typical *** a result,a new metaheuristicsbased feature selection method based on the dipper-throated and grey-wolf optimization(DTO-GW)algorithms has been developed in this *** can result when the selection of features is subject to metaheuristics,which can lead to a wide range of ***,we adopted hybrid optimization in our method of optimizing,which allowed us to better balance exploration and harvesting chores more *** propose utilizing the binary DTO-GW search approach we previously devised for selecting the optimal subset of *** the proposed method,the number of features selected is minimized,while classification accuracy is *** test the proposed method’s performance against eleven other state-of-theart approaches,eight datasets from the UCI repository were used,such as binary grey wolf search(bGWO),binary hybrid grey wolf,and particle swarm optimization(bGWO-PSO),bPSO,binary stochastic fractal search(bSFS),binary whale optimization algorithm(bWOA),binary modified grey wolf optimization(bMGWO),binary multiverse optimization(bMVO),binary bowerbird optimization(bSBO),binary hysteresis optimization(bHy),and binary hysteresis optimization(bHWO).The suggested method is superior 4532 CMC,2023,vol.74,no.2 and successful in handling the problem of feature selection,according to the results of the experiments.

In the wet semiconductor process, abrasive nanoparticles are widely used in the chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process to polish wafer surfaces for high planarization. During polishing, nanoparticles move with a high-speed three-dimensional (3D) position in the solution. In the 3D particles's moving positions, Z is a perpendicular longitudinal distance between the surface to the nanoparticle that plays a significant role in polishing, which could not be measured by general microscopy without longitudinal scanning. To understand nanoparticle phenomena near-surface, we have proposed and developed the apparatus with real-time fastmotion tracking on optical multi-wavelength evanescent fields microscopy to measure the 3D motion of the nanoparticle in water without scanning. In euspen's 2020, we could verify the relative distance ?Z of nanoparticles in water, but the absolute distance Z is unknown yet. In this manuscript, we have therefore developed an invisible nano-step height in water to verify the absolute height Z of an individual nanoparticle. The invisible nano-step height in water is made from an optical resin with a refractive index of 1.35 that is close to a refractive index of water to avoid unnecessary light during experimental verification. The nano-step height was less than 100 nm on a glass surface, fabricated using nanoimprint lithography. Polystyrene f100 nm standard particles in water were used to verify the height Z. The results of height Z of nanoparticles could be measured less than 100 nm with the measurement uncertainty ±10 nm (2s), which is related to the interferometer result of the nano-step height. © European Society for Precision engineering and Nanotechnology, Conference Proceedings - 22nd International Conference and Exhibition, EUSPEN 2022. In this paper,we present a novel adaptive performance control approach for strict-feedback nonparametric systems with unknown time-varying control coefficients,which mainly includes the following ***,by introducing several key transformation functions and selecting the initial value of the time-varying scaling function,the symmetric prescribed performance with global and semi-global properties can be handled uniformly,without the need for control ***,to handle the problem of unknown time-varying control coefficient with an unknown sign,we propose an enhanced Nussbaum function(ENF)bearing some unique properties and characteristics,with which the complex stability analysis based on specific Nussbaum functions as commonly used is no longer ***,by utilizing the core-function information technique,the nonparametric uncertainties in the system are gracefully handled so that no approximator is ***,simulation results verify the effectiveness and benefits of the approach.

Globally, biomass usage as a supply of non-depletable resources materials used in the production of energy at their rawest state is an issue. Pyrolysis is a method of thermally treating biomass that as a consequence in the formation of liquid, products, both solid and gaseous. Elevated heating is required to transform the complicated composition of the biomass's underlying structure matrix into usable products. Heating with a microwave oven has the potential to become a competitive option. to more traditional methods of heating. Owing to its ease of operation and rapid heating rate, it has recently been widely employed in pyrolysis. The goals of this research are to found the principles of MW-assisted pyrolysis action and to examine some critical issues characteristics of operation that have an influence on the yield of a product. This procedure appears to be governed by a number of operational factors for instance, microwave power and temperature degree, the addition of microwave absorbers and their concentration, initial relative humidity, primary sweep gas flow rate/time spent in residence. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

A host-switch graph was originally proposed as a graph that represents a network topology of a computer systems with 1-port host computers and (Formula presented.) -port switches. It has been studied from both theoretical and practical aspects in terms of the diameter, the average shortest path length, and the performance of real applications. In recent high-performance computing systems, however, a host computer is connected to multiple switches by using InfiniBand, NVSwitch, or Omni-Path, and consequently they provide high bandwidths. Since a host-switch graph cannot represent such systems, this article extends a host-switch graph so that it can represent such systems. As a result, a host-switch graph can include multi-ported hosts. Furthermore, we propose to use multi-port hosts for reducing the diameter. We show that the diameter minimization is equivalent to solving the degree diameter problem for bipartite graphs of diameter three. Our experimental results show that we can drastically reduce the diameter as well as increasing the bandwidth and improves performance of MPI applications by up to 162% as compared with networks with single-ported hosts. © 2020 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Business intelligence (BI) encompasses the tools and uses to gather, combine, examine, and display data about a specific firm. Using historical and current efficiency comparisons, these structures assist in formulating plans and choices to achieve better outcomes in the future. Additionally, it helps firms determine which business issues and industry trends require attention. It has several benefits, such as increasing responsibility and efficiency, but it carries some disadvantages, such as being expensive, complicated, and time-consuming to adopt. Using big data-driven approaches to optimize talent recruitment is essential for improved decisions in the cutthroat world of BI. The efficacy of many machine learning algorithms to increase recruiting performance and accuracy is compared in this investigation. For optimizing, cross-validating, and hyperparameter modification were employed. The Random Forest (RF) algorithm has the greatest accuracy (92.9%), trailed by the Gradient Boosting Classifying system (92.6%) and the neural network (NNs) models (92.7%). These findings imply that sophisticated ML algorithms, in particular RF and NN, can greatly improve BI platforms' hiring procedures. Recruiters can benefit from this research's insightful recommendations for incorporating advanced ML methods into talent recruitment plans. © 2025 IEEE.
