Rising global temperatures due to climate change have significantly increased the risk of heat-related illnesses, particularly heatstroke, in various regions. As global warming continues, it is crucial to understand patterns in heatstroke occurrences to predict and address future impacts. This study uses Machine Learning (ML) techniques to explore the connection between increasing temperatures and heatstroke incidents. ML models analyze extensive datasets containing meteorological data, health records, and geographical variables to uncover correlations between temperature spikes and heatstroke prevalence. The research incorporates supervised learning models such as linear Regression, lasso regression, ridge regression and voting regressor to predict high-risk periods and regions vulnerable to heatstroke. Additionally, time-series analysis and Prophet model is used to forecast future heatstroke cases by identifying climate data trends. These models are trained and validated using historical temperature and heatstroke fatality data from different regions. Preliminary findings indicate that extreme heatwaves, along with humidity and urbanization factors, significantly contribute to heatstroke occurrences. This study, leveraging ML, aims to improve the ability to predict and prevent heat-related health crises, offering valuable insights for public health planning, early-warning systems, and climate adaptation strategies to protect populations from the adverse effects of global warming.

Humans are living in the world where garbage can be seen everywhere. Especially in countries like India garbage is a major problem which leads to Air, Water and Soil pollution. There are many ways to reduce garbage pollution like Disposing waste properly, Recycling, Reusing etc. But you know what garbage can be turned into a useful asset for example Waste to Energy plants which burn solid waste and produce Electricity. This kind of thing is only possible if the waste is separated from one another. Lacking of proper garbage classification system leads to excessive waste of garbage which causes harmful effect to our environment. In that case it is highly required to collaborate with technologies like Convolutional Neural Network (Artificial Intelligent Machine which learns directly from data) which help us to classify waste. InceptionV3 is one of the garbage recognizers which use CNN and Data Augmentation to recognise garbage and sort them. According to sources its accuracy is 99.3 percent. Countries like China, Columbia and Indonesia is also working toward garbage recognizer machine which is fruitful for the environment as well as for the peoples living here. There are many techniques through which can be used in the robotic systems to segregate the waste accordingly using the machine learning and deep learning techniques. The main aim of the paper is to compare the deep learning techniques and prove which is the best technique that can be used for a particular system. © 2022 IEEE.

Multi-scale quantum harmonic oscillator algorithm (MQHOA) is a novel global optimization algorithm inspired by wave function of quantum mechanics. In this paper, a MQHOA with individual stabilization strategy (IS-MQHOA) is proposed utilizing the individual steady criterion instead of the group statistics. The proposed strategy is more rigorous for the particles in the energy level stabilization process. A more efficient search takes place in the search space made by the particles and improves the exploration ability and the robustness of the algorithm. To verify its performance, numerical experiments are conducted to compare the proposed algorithm with the state-of-the-art SPSO2011 and QPSO. The experimental results show the superiority of the proposed approach on benchmark functions. © Springer International Publishing AG, part of Springer Nature 2018.

Two analytical drain current models for organic thin-film transistors(OTFTs)are *** first one is the surface potential based drain current model considering both deep and tail trap states densities within the energy gap,and the model is valided in both subthreshold and above-threshold *** second one is the polynomial based model valided in above-threshold regime,and the model has the advantage in the simple parameter extraction steps by fitting the experimental effective mobility with the polynomial *** presented models are verified with the experimental data, and good agreements are obtained.

In this paper, we put forward a new piecewise hybrid system, and explore the methods for processing image data with the principle of stochastic resonance so as to improve the quality of images with noise. We focus on studying the influence caused by model parameters on the output histogram of the system, and through the method of numerical simulation, we put the periodic signal, image signal without noise and image signal with noise into the new stochastic resonance system respectively to find the changes and influence of the new model to the input signals. The result shows that the proposed model is effective for improving image quality with reasonable parameters. © 2011 IEEE.

Capabilities-based weapon system of systems planning (CBWSoSP) problem is widely researched in defense domain nowadays. To solve this problem, a tri-level mission-capability-project analysis framework is proposed. This framework mainly focuses on relationship analyses, which are mission-capability relationship and capability-project relationship. Then a bi-level programming model is presented to solve CBWSoSP problem. In the upper layer of the model, the objectives are maximizing the possibilities of mission achievement with the amount of resources as decision vectors. In the lower layer, the maximization of capabilities is formulated as objective functions with resources allocation as decision vectors. A SPEA2-based algorithm is used to solve the model under some hypothesis. The difficulty of the model building in real world and future work are discussed finally. © 2011 IEEE.

As result of powerful image processing tools, digital image forgeries have already become a serious social problem. In this paper we describe an effective method to detect Copy-Move forgery in digital images. This method works by first extracting SIFT descriptors of an image, which are invariant to changes in illumination, rotation, scaling etc. Owing to the similarity between pasted region and copied region, descriptors are then matched between each other to seek for any possible forgery in images. Experiments have been performed to demonstrate the efficiency of this method on different forgeries and quantify its robustness and sensitivity to post image processing, such as additive noise and lossy JPEG compression etc, or even compound processing. © 2008 IEEE.

Workflow management systems have been applied in enterprises for many years in collaborative environment to assist individuals or organizations to carry out tasks automatically and effectively. As market requirements are developing rapidly, the enterprises now find the traditional workflow management system under such rapid circumstances difficult to copy with changes in the market both promptly and flexibly. The inflexibility of traditional workflow model has cumbered the development of enterprises. Introducing SOA technology to current workflow management systems, we propose a service oriented workflow model to solve the problem mentioned *** on this framework, this paper also discusses how decentralized process enactment, and dynamic process adaptation can be achieved. It can improve flexibility, scalability, and interoperability and the proposed workflow management system can cooperate with other systems and enterprise applications more effectively.
