A remote-controlled robotic arm is a significant technological advancement that can be used in various fields. This research paper focuses on the development of a remote-controlled robotic arm using Arduino. The paper discusses the construction of the robotic arm and the selection of components such as servo motors and microcontrollers. The live feed of the arm's movements can be controlled with the remote. The study also includes a discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of remote-controlled robotic arms, their current applications, and the potential for future developments. Finally, the study concludes that remote-controlled robotic arms have numerous applications in various fields, including manufacturing, medical, and defense. Implementing a robotic arm using Arduino can be a challenging task that requires a broad range of skills, including mechanical design, electronics, programming, and troubleshooting. Electric Vehicle refers to the consumption of electricity at a larger scale but is very environment friendly. The EV is certainly a growing technology now-a-days referring to the Electric vehicle. It consists of EVSE i.e., Electric Vehicle Supply Environment and CSMS i.e., Charging Station Management System. The challenge is to establish a communication between this CSMS and EVSE. OCPP that is open charge point protocol is the way to establish this communication. Many developed systems have their own disadvantages such as in communication, in handling, etc. The objective is to remove these errors and make the system work efficiently. OCPP being the most demanded has its own advantages such as it can choose a local network provider or change that provider, etc. This study discusses about an approach for the real time implementation of OCPP for EV. It holds the technologies such as Bluetooth. © 2023 IEEE.

The marble industry offers a vast selection of styles, presenting a challenge for customers seeking the ideal marble for their homes or businesses. To address this, chatbots have emerged as a convenient means for customers to receive instant assistance and personalized recommendations. This paper introduces a marble recommender and assistance chatbot designed for a Marble and Granite selling company. The recommendation process integrates both content-based filtering and natural language processing (NLP) techniques. Utilizing Dialogflow, we developed and implemented the chatbot on the company's website. Through dialogue-based interactions, a conversational recommender system was established. The system adeptly comprehends various natural language queries and delivers relevant recommendations based on individual customer preferences. To evaluate the system's performance, we measured the accuracy of recommendations and user satisfaction. Our user study findings reveal that the chatbot provided users with a satisfying experience and achieved an impressive accuracy rate of 85%. The chatbot, named MarbleBot, proves to be an indispensable tool in helping users discover the perfect marble that suits their needs. The paper proceeds in a chronological order, beginning with the introduction, followed by a comprehensive review of relevant literature. The research methodology section outlines the tools employed, including Dialogflow methodology, Flask-API, MySQL database, system design, and pre-processing steps. Subsequently, we present the results, encompassing evaluation tools and an analysis of testing outcomes. Finally, the paper concludes with a summary of our findings and potential future directions. © 2023 IEEE.

This study explores the feasibility of predicting motor actions using EEG (Electroencephalogram) signals. The methodology involves preprocessing the EEG data to remove artifacts and enhance signal quality. Relevant temporal and spectral features are extracted from the EEG signals to capture underlying neural activity patterns associated with different motor actions. A classification model, such as a machine learning algorithm or a deep learning architecture, is trained on the extracted features to predict motor actions from the EEG signals. Performance evaluation measures, including accuracy, used to assess the prediction model. The experimental results demonstrate the potential of EEG-based motor action prediction. The paper also illustrates the demonstration of 3 major models to predict the motor actions. © 2023 IEEE.

The procedure of merging data from various sources into a single reference system/ reference frame is known as 'Image Registration'. The data can be images taken from the sensors, multiple different images taken from different angles, images from different lapses of time, images from a different point of view/frame of reference, etc. This type of data is used in numerous applications such as medical imaging, computer vision, target detection in the military, analyzing and processing of satellite data, etc. To merge and differentiate this data obtained from various different sources, image registration is used. This paper introduces two algorithms well-balanced together for image registration. The two algorithms used are Shi-Tomasi Corner Detection Algorithm and Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) Algorithm. The Shi-Tomasi Corner Detection Algorithm issued by *** and *** in the year 1994 is used for the corner detection in the reference image. The Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) Algorithm is used for searching, outlining and equivalenting the corners/features in the images. The average error obtained after the estimation of the TRS for, Translation of (500,500), Rotation of angle -10, and Scale of 0.7 is θ=0.18%, Δx=17.14% Δ y=7.69%,S=0.01%, and the average error obtained after the estimation of the TRS for, Translation of (500,500), Rotation of angle 10 and Scale of 0.8 is Θ=0.14%Δx=10.76%Δy=7.95%,S=0.01% © 2023 IEEE.

Vibration-induced bias deviation,which is generated by intensity fluctuations and additional phase differences,is one of the vital errors for fiber optic gyroscopes(FOGs)operating in vibration environment and has severely restricted the applications of high-precision *** conventional methods for suppressing vibration-induced errors mostly concentrate on reinforcing the mechanical structure and optical path as well as the compensation under some specific operation parameters,which have very limited effects for high-precision FOGs maintaining performances under *** this work,a technique of suppressing the vibration-induced bias deviation through removing the part related to the varying gain from the rotation-rate output is put ***,the loop gain is extracted out by adding a gain-monitoring *** demodulating the loop gain and the rotation rate simultaneously under distinct frequencies and investigating their quantitative relationship,the vibrationinduced bias error is compensated without limiting the operating parameters or environments,like the applied modulation *** experimental results show that the proposed method has achieved the reduction of bias error from about 0.149°/h to0.014°/h during the random vibration with frequencies from20 Hz to 2000 *** technique provides a feasible route for enhancing the performances of high-precision FOGs heading towards high environmental adaptability.

Ciprofloxacin (CIP) is an extensively used broad-spectrum, fluoroquinolone antibiotic used for treating diverse bacterial infections. Effluent treatment plants (ETPs) worldwide lack technologies to detect or remediate antibiotics. CIP reaches the aquatic phase primarily due to inappropriate disposal practices, lack of point-of-use sensing, and preloaded activated charcoal filter at ETPs. The co-existence of bacteria and CIP in such aqueous pools has promoted fluoroquinolone resistance in bacteria and should be minimized. The worldwide accepted standard detection methodologies for the detection of CIP are high-performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, which are lab-based, require state-of-the-art equipment, and are expensive. Hence, it is difficult to integrate them for on-site monitoring. Further, the current remediation technologies like conventional sludge-treatment techniques fail to remove antibiotics such as CIP. Several point-of-use technologies for the detection of CIP are being investigated. These typically involve the development of electrochemical sensors where substrates, modifiers, biorecognition elements, and their chemistries are designed and optimized to enable robust, point-of-use detection of CIP. Similarly, remediation techniques like adsorption, membrane filtration, ion exchange, photocatalysis, ozonation, oxidation by Fenton’s reagent, and bioremediation are explored, but their onsite use is limited. The use of these sensing and remediation technologies in tandem is possibly the only way the issues related to antimicrobial resistance may be effectively tackled. This article provides a focused critical review on the recent advances in the development of such technologies, laying out the prospects and perspectives of their synergistic use to curb the menace of AMR and preserve antibiotics. © The Author(s) 2025.

This paper proposes a optimization method for estimating the conductance of cable insulation, a parameter closely related to the dielectric losses and overall health of the cable. The proposed method utilizes a stepped frequency waveform reflectometry technique, which injects a frequency range of sinusoidal signals into the cable and analyzes the reflected signals to assess the attenuation and phase shift caused by the cable's physical and electrical properties. By optimizing the conductance based on the measured reflection coefficients and applying the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm to minimize errors, the method accurately estimates the internal conductance of the cable's insulation layer. The ability to quantitatively assess and monitor conductance over time provides a valuable tool for early detection of insulation degradation and prediction of remaining cable life. The paper proposes an automated approach for plant disease detection using transfer learning techniques. The study focuses on three critical agricultural crops-tea, potato, and tomato known for their economic significance and susceptibility to a range of diseases. Leveraging deep learning and transfer learning, the proposed system integrates pre-trained models such as VGG19, ResNet152V2, and InceptionV3, fine-tuned to classify plant leaf diseases with high accuracy. The dataset used in this study includes tea leaves with seven distinct diseases, potato leaves with three classes of diseases, and tomato leaves with ten disease classes. Pre-processing was done on these datasets to improve model training and guarantee homogeneity. This included resizing and data augmentation. The best-performing model for each crop was identified by analyzing the transfer learning models using a variety of measures, such as validation accuracy, confusion matrix analysis, and F1-score. By comparing various transfer learning models, this study demonstrates that deep learning-based approaches offer superior performance in plant disease detection. The improved accuracy and robustness of these models provide a more efficient solution for early disease identification, allowing for timely treatment and reduced crop losses. The ultimate goal of this paper is to support agricultural professionals and farmers in early disease detection, facilitating precision farming practices and contributing to increased agricultural productivity and sustainability. This technology has the potential to make a significant impact on food security and promote a more sustainable approach to agriculture. © 2024 IEEE.
