The proliferation of vehicles and the intricate layout of road systems have contributed to a significant rise in traffic accidents, posing a pressing concern globally. Despite the advancements facilitated by deep learning, several challenges persist in the domain of traffic accident prediction. Firstly, the sparsity of accident data in certain city regions presents a significant obstacle, particularly when attempting fine-grained predictions at a local level. Secondly, the intricate spatial-temporal relations inherent in traffic accident data pose a challenge for existing prediction models. In response to these formidable challenges, this paper presents GLST-TARP, a novel model for predicting traffic accident risk in urban environments by leveraging both global semantic and localized geographic spatial-temporal relations. Specifically, we construct multi-graphs to encode global static and dynamic spatial relations, incorporating attention mechanisms to adaptively focus on relevant information and temporal relations. Additionally, we employ channel-wise convolutional neural network blocks to extract localized geographic features and enhance predictive accuracy. The proposed model is trained using a Huber loss function tailored for regression tasks, relieving the impact of zero values during optimization. Experimental results demonstrate that GLST-TARP outperforms state-of-the-art methods in predicting traffic accident risks, showcasing its potential for enhancing urban safety and transportation management. © 2024, The Authors. Single-cell RNA sequencing provides high-throughput gene expression information and offers higher resolution of cell differences compared to bulk RNA sequencing, which helps identify cell types and explore cellular heterogeneity at the single-cell level. Although many single-cell clustering methods based on masked autoencoders have been developed recently, they rarely effectively utilize the correlations between cells, resulting in suboptimal clustering results. In this work, we propose a novel clustering method for scRNA-seq data based on a masked graph convolutional autoencoder, which incorporates a graph convolutional network onto the basis of a masked autoencoder to enhance the capture of the correlation between cells and genes by fusing the cell-cell interaction graph and the gene expression matrix. By increasing the relationships between cells, dimensionality reduction is guided, and a clustering-friendly representation is obtained. We conducted extensive comparative experiments using various clustering evaluation metrics on six scRNA-seq datasets from different sequencing platforms. The mobile robot adapts to the more complicated indoor and outdoor environments, and can expand its scope of application. In order to reduce the influence of the cumulative error caused by navigation in complex environments, the indoor mobile robot that combines Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and encoder fusion is designed and implemented. In view of the limitations of the traditional single lidar scheme, a Multi-sensor Fusion scheme is proposed to achieve indoor map construction, path planning, multi-point navigation and other functions, and a MSIF KartoSLAM (Multi-sensor Information Fusion) algorithm is proposed, which combines the KartoSLAM algorithm and Multi-sensor information to achieve map construction in complex environments. Through comprehensive testing in the indoor environment, the results show that the Multi-sensor Fusion scheme is superior to the traditional single lidar scheme, and can achieve higher accuracy in mapping and navigation. At the same time, the robot platform can also be combined with the Internet of Things technology and integrated into intelligent housing system. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Due to the limitation of hardware resources, the traditional people flow monitoring system based on computer vision in public places can't meet different crowd-scale scenarios. Therefore, a people flow monitoring system based on MD-MCNN algorithm is designed, which is an application system combining the improved SSD object detection algorithm MNSSD and MCNN density map regression algorithm. In the initial stage, the system uses MNSSD for accurate detection and counting. If the people flow gradually reaches a certain threshold, the system automatically uses MCNN to estimate people flow until the people flow falls below the threshold. Through the experimental verification, the system can realize the people flow statistics of low-density and high-density people in different scenarios, and can be applied on the existing embedded platform. This scheme can be extended to smart cities, smart scenic spots, smart transportation and other fields. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this study, the Quantum-Train Quantum Fast Weight Programmer (QT-QFWP) framework is proposed, which facilitates the efficient and scalable programming of variational quantum circuits (VQCs) by leveraging quantum-driven parameter updates for the classical slow programmer that controls the fast programmer VQC model. This approach offers a significant advantage over conventional hybrid quantum-classical models by optimizing both quantum and classical parameter management. The framework has been benchmarked across several time-series prediction tasks, including Damped Simple Harmonic Motion (SHM), NARMA5, and Simulated Gravitational Waves (GW), demonstrating its ability to reduce parameters by roughly 70-90% compared to Quantum Long Short-term Memory (QLSTM) and Quantum Fast Weight Programmer (QFWP) without compromising accuracy. The results show that QT-QFWP outperforms related models in both efficiency and predictive accuracy, providing a pathway toward more practical and cost-effective quantum machine learning applications. This innovation is particularly promising for near-term quantum systems, where limited qubit resources and gate fidelities pose significant constraints on model complexity. QT-QFWP enhances the feasibility of deploying VQCs in time-sensitive applications and broadens the scope of quantum computing in machine learning domains. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. Accurate photovoltaic (PV) generation forecasts can reduce power redeploy from the grid, thus increasing the supplier's profit in the day-ahead electricity market. However, the PV process is affected differently by various factors under different weather conditions, resulting in significantly different energy output curves. In this context, this paper proposes a day-ahead PV power forecasting method with weather conditioned attention mechanism. We propose a multi-stream attention fusion network (MSAFN) which utilizes an algorithm to derive the optimal decomposition algorithm for different weather conditions. The proposed conditional decomposition (CD) algorithm searches for the decomposition algorithms and corresponding hyperparameters of the prediction model, aiming to achieve the optimal prediction performance. The MSAFN incorporates multiple attention modules to learn the energy output patterns under various weather conditions. Notably, the attention modules adeptly learn patterns under diverse conditions, while simultaneously, the sharing of weights among the remaining components of the model effectively enhances prediction accuracy and facilitates a reduction in training time. We compare the state-of-the-art decomposition algorithms (VMD, EEMD and MSTL, etc.) and prediction models (BPN, LSTM, XGBoost and transformer, etc.) commonly used in PV prediction. The results show that the MSAFN model is more accurate than the models above, which has a noticeable improvement compared to other recent day-ahead PV predictions on DKASC. © 2023, The Authors. Finding appropriate reaction conditions that yield high product rates in chemical synthesis is crucial for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. However, due to the vast chemical space, conducting experiments for each possible reaction condition is impractical. Consequently, models such as QSAR (Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship) or ML (Machine Learning) have been developed to predict the outcomes of reactions and illustrate how reaction conditions affect product yield. Despite these advancements, inferring all possible combinations remains computationally prohibitive when using a conventional CPU. In this work, we explore using a Digital Annealing Unit (DAU) to tackle these large-scale optimization problems more efficiently by solving Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization (QUBO). Two types of QUBO models are constructed in this work: one using quantum annealing and the other using ML. Both models are built and tested on four high-throughput experimentation (HTE) datasets and selected Reaxys datasets. Our results suggest that the performance of models is comparable to classical ML methods (i.e., Random Forest and Multilayer Perceptron (MLP)), while the inference time of our models requires only seconds with a DAU. Additionally, in campaigns involving active learning and autonomous design of reaction conditions to achieve higher reaction yield, our model demonstrates significant improvements by adding new data, showing promise of adopting our method in the iterative nature of such problem settings. Our method can also accelerate the screening of billions of reaction conditions, achieving speeds millions of times faster than traditional computing units in identifying superior conditions. Therefore, leveraging the DAU with our developed QUBO models has the potential to be a valuable tool for innovative chemical synthesis. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

A multi-scale R-FCN detection algorithm is presented to solve the problem of region-based full convolution network (R-FCN) in multi-scale object detection. Firstly, in order to solve the problem that R-FCN algorithm has limited receptive field and semantic information in single feature map detection, a multi-scale proposal box (proposal) is obtained by using multi-scale feature maps in the main network. At the same time, in order to make the feature maps of different layers have rich semantic information at the same time during the two-stage detection, the feature maps of different layers are fused from top to bottom. Finally, in order to make the two-stage position-sensitive score map also have good multiscale representation ability, a multi-layer shared convolution method is used to generate the position-sensitive score map. The experimental results on PASCAL VOC dataset show that the multiscale R-FCN algorithm in this paper is better than the original R-FCN algorithm in detection accuracy. At the same time, the detection map shows that the algorithm performs better in multi-scale object detection. © 2020 IEEE.
