Existing Lexical Punctuation Prediction methods are mainly trained on the standard clean data while losing the generalization in practical automatic speech recognition (ASR) system with ubiquitous transcription errors. To bridge the gap between clean training data and noisy testing data, we propose three random (3R) data augmentation strategies: random word deletion (RWD), random word substitution (RWS), and random phoneme edition (RPE) in both word and phoneme levels on the training dataset. Specifically, we contribute an acoustically similar vocabulary with phoneme level editions for acoustically similar word substitution. In addition, we first introduce the RoBERTa-large model into a punctuation prediction task to capture the semantics and the long-distance dependencies in language. Extensive experiments on the English dataset IWSLT2011 yield to a new state-of-the-art comparing to the prevalent punctuation prediction methods.

In polynomial and linear control systems, the Lienard-Chipart stability criterion plays an important role in the judgment of the zeros of a real polynomial based on the inertia of a Bezout matrix. In this paper we consider the case in the Bernstein polynomials basis. First, the Bernstein Bezout matrix and some important properties are introduced, and then a generalized perturbations of a real polynomial under the Bernstein polynomials basis is considered. Finally, a generalized Lienard-Chipart stability criterion in terms of the Bernstein Bezout matrix is established.

This letter presents a flexible antenna with artificial magnetic conductor (AMC). A CPW antenna is designed because its broadband characteristics with the relative bandwidth of 39.7% and 13.0% respectively. The proposed antenna operable at 2.45/5.8 GHz for wireless body area network applications and PDMS substrate is used makes the antenna thin and bendable. The AMC surface is integrated with the antenna to improve its radiation performance and to reduce the specific absorption rate (SAR). The 2 × 4 unit structure of AMC ensures a low profile with a thickness and a small size with the area of 50 * 100 mm 2 . The simulate result shows an AMC reflector increases the front-to-back ratio and antenna gain in free space. Moreover, the performance of the antenna with and without the AMC reflector under different crumpling conditions has been studied and presented, and the result shows the antenna performance is observed to be very robust against the effect of bending. The proposed wearable antenna structure can be used for wireless body area network (WBAN) wireless devices.

In semi-supervised medical image segmentation, due to possible differences in information content and distribution between labeled and unlabeled data, dealing with the two separately usually prevents knowledge transfer from labeled to unlabeled data. This prevents the model from effectively sharing learned information between the two types of data. To alleviate this problem, we train labeled and unlabeled data as a whole. Semantic mixing of labeled and unlabeled data is achieved by selecting and exchanging some of the region images of both through a mask to generate complementary input views. In addition, due to the limited labeled data, the unlabeled data has a weak ability to distinguish categories in the feature space. Traditional methods rely on pixel positions to generate positive and negative samples for contrastive learning to solve this problem, but relying on pixel position sampling can easily lead to semantic inconsistency, which affects the effect of feature learning; therefore, to address this problem, we propose an innovative labeled data-guided inter-class contrastive learning strategy, which extracts the category features from labeled and unlabeled data and exploits the accurate category information in the labeled data to guide contrastive learning, while introducing a similarity-based ranking weighting mechanism. Combining the two designs, we propose a new semantic knowledge transfer framework for semi-supervised medical image segmentation. Experiments demonstrate a significant improvement in our model compared to State of the Art (SOTA) on the Automatic Cardiac Diagnosis Challenge (ACDC) dataset and the Left Atrium (LA) dataset.
