This paper investigates the stability of linear systems with two additive time-varying delays. Firstly, an augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional(LKF) is constructed by introducing a novel augmented term which contains the derivative of state vector into integral terms. Then the extended reciprocally convex matrix inequality together with the Wirtinger integral inequality is used to estimate the derivative of the proposed LKF. As a result, a stability criterion with less conservatism is established. Finally, the advantage of the stability criterion is demonstrated through a numerical example and the application of the stability criterion to stability analysis of load frequency control is illustrated.

The four-step transportation model plays an important role in urban planning. The quality of the first phase, i.e. trip generation, determines the performance of the global course. The majority of trip generation forecasting models highly rely on mathematical derivation and have many predictor variables during the prediction, which leads to low accuracy of results and requires laboriously hand-crafted design of input vectors. This paper is the first to introduce the gradient boosting decision tree (GBDT) algorithm for trip generation prediction, and harmonizes such a powerful machine learning method with traditional urban planning requirements to achieve better prediction performance. Unlike the commonly used linear regression method, GBDT can automatically perform feature selection and model the non-linear relationships between input and output variables. Experimental results on real-world residential travel census in Beijing prove that the GBDT model significantly outperforms the baseline and can forecast the trip generation more accurately. © 2021 IEEE.

In this paper, the problem of finite-time stability is studied for a class of networked predictive control systems with parameter uncertainties. Firstly, both the modelling uncertainties and the network-induced delays are considered. A networked predictive control scheme is proposed to actively compensate the network-induced delays. Secondly, a sufficient condition is given to ensure the finite-time stability of the augmented closed-loop system with time delay, where both bilinear matrix inequality and linear matrix inequality conditions are derived with the help of Lyapunov stability theorem. At the same time, an alternate algorithm is designed to obtain the gain matrices of observer and controller from bilinear matrix inequality and linear matrix inequality. Finally, a numerical example is given to confirm the feasibility of the proposed results.

This paper investigates the state estimation problem for a class of discrete neural networks with time-varying delays and false data injection attacks under weighted try-once-discard（WTOD） protocol. The false data injection attacks are modelled by using the Bernoulli distributed random variable. The measurements are transmitted according to the WTOD protocol in order to reduce unnecessary data transmission and alleviate the bandwidth pressure. A state estimator is designed based on the obtained measurement. By utilizing Lyapunov stability theory, sufficient conditions are given to ensure the exponentially ultimate boundedness in the mean square of error dynamics system. Then, by combining with the linear matrix inequalities（LMIs） technology, the design method of estimator parameter is given. Finally, a numerical example is provided to testify the validity of the proposed state estimation approach.

This paper deals with the problem of intermittent control based on dynamic event-triggered mechanism (DETM) for nonlinear hybrid stochastic delayed systems (NHSDSs) with measurement error. The DETM and intermittent control strategy are employed to alleviate the network burden in feedback and forward channels, respectively. After giving the existence and uniqueness theorem for the solution to NHSDSs, the sufficient condition to guarantee p-th moment exponential stability and almost surely exponential stability of NHSDSs is established by comparing with the constructed auxiliary system. On this basis, the intermittent control based on self-triggered mechanism is developed. In addition, it is also proved that neither the DETM nor the self-triggered mechanism can produce the Zeno phenomenon. Finally, a simulation example is given to verify the validity of the theoretical results. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd

A new type of weak signal detection system that combines the memristor and Van der pol-Duffing chaotic system has been proposed in this paper, and the dynamic characteristics of the system are studied. It is observed that the system can change from a chaotic state to a periodic state under different driving force amplitudes. Moreover, as compared with several classical chaotic oscillators, the numerical simulation results show that the system has stronger anti-noise performance with the detectable signal-to-noise ratio reaches -163dB, and has a wider detection range. Its detection accuracy is up to 1 × 10−9. More importantly, this paper provides the circuit implementation scheme of the system, and the weak signal can be detected with our designed circuit. This may offer a possible way for weak signal detection system with good performance in anti-noise performance, detection range and accuracy. © 2021, CC BY.

This paper is concerned with the dynamic event-triggered distributed filtering problem for a class of time-varying stochastic systems with switching nonlinearities and redundant channels. A random variable that obeys Bernoulli distribution is used to characterize the switching nonlinearities, and moreover, a set of random variables are used to described redundant channels, which are introduced to increase the probability of successful deliver of the data packets. A dynamic event-triggered scheme is introduced to further reduce the number of excessive executions of the signal transmissions. The aim of this paper is to design a locally optimal time-varying filter such that, for switching nonlinearities and redundant channels, an upper bound on the filtering error covariance is derived and such an upper bound is minimized by properly designing the filter gain based on the solution of a Riccati-like difference equation. In addition, the performance analysis of the proposed filtering algorithm is conducted and a sufficient condition is given to verify the boundedness of the filtering error. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed filter design scheme.

The state estimation problem is investigated for a class of discrete-time networked systems with uncertainty and nonlinearity via a coding-decoding communication *** signal is transmitted through digital channels,which means that only the sequence of finite coded data is sent to the *** be specific,the observation must be encoded to certain codewords by designing a coder,and then the received codewords are decoded by the relevant *** purpose of the addressed problem is to design a proper coding-decoding procedure such that the estimator error is asymptotically stable across the limited capacity of the communication *** applying a modified uniform quantization approach,sufficient detection conditions involving the size of the coding alphabet and the coding period are ***,the estimator parameter is explicitly determined in terms of the solutions to a set of matrix ***,a simulation example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

This paper is concerned with consensus problem for discrete-time multi-agent systems（DTMASs） with exogenous disturbances and communication delay,where the agents’ states are not measurable.A predictive-based control protocol is introduced to actively compensate the time delay during the information exchange through the network,and an exogenous disturbance observer as well as a distributed protocol via the predictions of agents’ states are designed at current *** addressed DTMASs with exogenous disturbances and a constant communication delay,some sufficient conditions are ***,the simulations are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method.

This paper focuses on the fault diagnosis of IGBT switch for microgrid three-phase inverters. Based on the analysis of all kinds of fault mechanisms, firstly, the fault simulation model of microgrid inverter is built on MATLAB/Simulink to simulate the fault state of inverter switch under various faults. The load-side three-phase current fault data is collected. Then, wavelet transform is used to extract feature parameters, and normalize the process in the form of energy to construct the fault feature vector. Finally, the genetic algorithm-based probability neural network(PNN) is used for classification. The experimental results show that the method that combining wavelet transform and PNN can diagnose the faults of microgrid inverter accurately and effectively.
