Allylic amines are prevalent and vital structural components present in many bioactive compounds and natural products. Additionally, they serve as valuable intermediates and building blocks, with wide-ranging applications in organic synthesis. However, direct α-C(sp 3 )−H alkenylation of feedstock amines, particularly for the preparation of α-alkenylated cyclic amines, has posed a longstanding challenge. Herein, we present a general, mild, operationally simple, and transition-metal-free α-alkenylation of various readily available amines with alkenylborate esters in excellent E / Z - and diastereoselectivities. This method features good compatibility with water and oxygen, broad substrate scope, and excellent functional group tolerance, thereby enabling the late-stage modification of various complex molecules. Mechanistic studies suggest that the formation of a photoactive electron donor-acceptor complex between 2-iodobenzamide and the tetraalkoxyborate anion, which subsequently undergoes photoinduced single electron transfer and intramolecular 1,5-hydrogen atom transfer to generate the crucial α-amino radicals, is the key to success of this chemistry.

In this paper, we study the problem of authorship identification in online news data. Most of the existing approaches predict authorship via feature engineering, which cannot focus on important attributes. We designed an authorship identification method named Authorship Embeddings Space model (AES) to predict the online news authorship between online news and authors. First, we propose an authorship space to represent the deep semantic relationship of news content. Second, we use an embedding learning method to perform the relationship between authors and news. Finally, we formulated an authorship prediction algorithm to identify the news authors based on the authorship embeddings. Experimental results on the online news dataset reveal that the AES model outperforms the baseline models.

In the future, the third-generation gravitational wave (GW) detectors, exemplified by the Einstein Telescope (ET), will be operational. Many binary neutron star (BNS) coalescence events are expected to be observed. There are many machine learning works on binary black hole data analysis published, but works on BNSs are fewer. This paper explores the extraction of BNS waveforms from ET. Drawing inspiration from summed parallel infinite impulse response’s matched filtering approach, we introduce a novel framework based on leveraging deep learning for BNS waveform extraction. By integrating denoised outputs of time-delayed strain, we can reconstruct the embedded BNS waveform. We have established three distinct BNS GW denoising models, each tailored to address the early inspiral, later inspiral, and merger phases of BNS GWs, respectively. To further regulate the waveform shape, we propose an amplitude regularity model which takes the denoised output as input and output the regulated waveform. The experiments conducted on test data demonstrate the efficacy of the denoising models and the amplitude regularity model, as well as the overall waveform construction method. To the best of our knowledge, this marks the first instance of deep learning being utilized for the task of BNS waveform extraction. We also introduce a method for detecting BNS GWs that relies on waveform extraction. Our detection results demonstrate that this proposed method can accurately identify all GW signals with a SNR exceeding 20, without any false triggers. Furthermore, we believe that this GW extraction method also holds great promise for various other applications in BNS GW data processing, including localization and parameter estimation.

Layered oxides are one of the most prom ising cathode materials for sodium ion batteries (NIBs), however, the relatively low working voltage hinders the increase of energy density thus limiting the application scenarios of NIBs. Here we prepared and investigated a series of Sn^4+ substituted NaO.67NiO.33M na67-xSnxO2 (x = 0.10, 0.20, 0.30, 0.33) and found that Sn-substitution can induce three effects: promoting O3-stack formation, sm oothing the voltage profile and increasing the working voltage to -3.6 V. This study would enrich the knowledge of Sn-substitution and give guide to the better design of high-voltage cathode materials for NIBs.
