The Wuling Mountains Area(WMA) is one of the important ecological protection areas in central China, known for its rich biodiversity and unique ecological environment. To effectively protect the species resources in this area and strengthen ecological monitoring and research, this paper proposes and designs the 'Wuling Mountains Region Characteristic Species Expert Database System.' By integrating expert resources, species data, ecological environment information, and modern information technologies, an intelligent system has been developed that combines data management, expert support, species identification, and research analysis. This paper discusses in detail the system's requirements analysis, design concept, implementation technologies, and potential applications, aiming to provide technological support for biodiversity conservation and sustainable ecological development in the region. © 2024 IEEE.

Image-text retrieval aims to capture the semantic correspondence between images and texts,which serves as a foundation and crucial component in multi-modal recommendations,search systems,and online *** mainstream methods primarily focus on modeling the association of image-text pairs while neglecting the advantageous impact of multi-task learning on image-text *** this end,a multi-task visual semantic embedding network(MVSEN)is proposed for image-text ***,we design two auxiliary tasks,including text-text matching and multi-label classification,for semantic constraints to improve the generalization and robustness of visual semantic embedding from a training ***,we present an intra-and inter-modality interaction scheme to learn discriminative visual and textual feature representations by facilitating information flow within and between ***,we utilize multi-layer graph convolutional networks in a cascading manner to infer the correlation of image-text *** results show that MVSEN outperforms state-of-the-art methods on two publicly available datasets,Flickr30K and MSCOCO,with rSum improvements of 8.2%and 3.0%,respectively.

Image denoising has always been a hot research topic in the field of computer vision, playing an important role in improving image quality and accuracy. In this paper, a method for image denoising based on residual network is proposed, which uses deep learning technology to improve the effect of image processing. This method can automatically learn useful features in the image and effectively remove noise in the image, achieving automatic removal of image noise. Finally, experiments were conducted on standard image datasets for evaluation. The experimental results show that the image denoising method based on residual network has better performance compared to traditional methods. It can effectively remove various types of noise, improve image quality and clarity, and has broad application prospects in image processing. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. The accurate prediction of low-visibility has important application value to the normal operation of navigation, aviation and other transportation vehicles. However, the current low-visibility prediction task mostly uses time series model to extract temporal features, but neglects the spatial correlation between national observation stations. Additionally, those time series model require that the input data must be limited to the Euclidean space. However, due to the discrete distribution of stations, the input data required for multi-station low-visibility prediction does not have a regular spatial structure. To address those limitation, we proposed a weighted location feature convolution based on graph convolution. The construction of the weighted location feature convolution takes into account the distance and pitch angle, reduces the influence caused by the dispersion of national observation stations, and enables the convolution kernel to be shared in different local meteorological spaces. The convolution as a substitute for matrix multiplication within Sequence to Sequence framework, then cascaded the decoder to deal with the spatio-temporal dependence relationship of different levels, leading spatio-temporal fusion model CPGDC. The experimental results show that the CPGDC model achieves has higher accuracy in predicting low-visibility values across multiple national observation stations. © 2024 SPIE.

In recent years, the number of software vulnerabilities has gradually increased, posing a threat to the security of software, and identifying whether there are vulnerabilities in software is crucial for assuring its quality. With the development of deep learning, vulnerability detection based on deep learning has achieved good results. However, real-world software vulnerability datasets often suffer from class imbalance and a lack of labeled data, limiting the performance of deep learning models. Therefore, this paper proposes a data augmentation method to alleviate these two problems. Firstly, we treats samples with vulnerabilities in the dataset as code, and generates more samples with vulnerabilities through code refactoring to alleviate class imbalance issues. Secondly, we use the mixup method to perform linear interpolation on the embedding vectors which represent codes, and add the interpolated vectors into the training set, thereby increasing the amount of labeled training data. To evaluate our method, we conducted experiments on three projects of the Promise dataset. The experimental results show that our data augmentation method can effectively improve the effect of vulnerability detection. © 2024 IEEE.

Multi-view User Preference Modeling for Personalized Text-to-Image Generation

Personalized text-to-image generation aims to synthesize images tailored to individual user preferences. Existing methods primarily generate customized content using a few reference images, which often struggle to mine user preferences from historical records, and thus fail to synthesize truly personalized content. In addition, it is difficult to directly incorporate the extracted feature of user preferences into the feature space of the generation model, since there exists a considerable gap between them. In this paper, we propose a novel multi-view personalized text-to-image generation method based on the diffusion model, named MVP-Diffusion, which learns instance- and user-level preferences from historical records and integrates them into the generation model. For instance-level user preference modeling, we employ a chain-of-thought prompting strategy to deduce preference keywords and integrate them into input prompts with the aid of a large language model. For user-level preference modeling, we construct a learnable embedding for each user to capture more comprehensive preferences by analyzing their historical records. An adaptive user preference fusion module is proposed to inject user preferences into the generation model via a set of learnable parameters. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method significantly enhances the personalization of the generated images compared to the other personalized text-to-image generation methods. © 1999-2012 IEEE.

For the population diversity decreasing rapidly in differential evolution (DE), a novel hybrid algorithm based on Equilibrium Optimizer (EO) and DE (HEODE) is presented. Firstly, a sharing learning mutation strategy is introduced in DE based on the sharing individual. By learning from the sharing individual, information exchange among the whole population can be achieved. Secondly, an effective hybridization mechanism is proposed to combine the advantages of two algorithms. A serial of experiments are used for effectiveness verification among 12 DEs and 5 none-DE based algorithms. The test results validate that HEODE outperforms all competitors. © 2023 IEEE.

The existing software bug localization models treat the source file as natural language, which leads to the loss of syntactical and structure information of the source file. A bug localization model based on syntactical and semantic information of source code is proposed. Firstly, abstract syntax tree(AST) is divided based on node category to obtain statement sequence. The statement tree is encoded into vectors to capture lexical and syntactical knowledge at the statement ***, the source code is transformed into vector representation by the sequence naturalness of the statement. Therefore,the problem of gradient vanishing and explosion caused by a large AST size is obviated when using AST to the represent source code. Finally, the correlation between bug reports and source files are comprehensively analyzed from three aspects of syntax, semantics and text to locate the buggy code. Experiments show that compared with other standard models, the proposed model improves the performance of bug localization, and it has good advantages in mean reciprocal rank(MRR), mean average precision(MAP) and Top N Rank.

Graffiti detection is essential in historic building protection and urban neighborhood management. Graffiti detection has made significant progress in recent years based on the development of deep learning. However, small-scale graffiti, interference from the background, and the false detection of word parts in graffiti make it a challenging problem. This article proposes a Transformer-based high-precision graffiti detection method, namely DIG. Precisely, it consists of three modules: 1) Spatial query selection (SQS), scale-aware IoU loss (SIL);2) Denoising Task with binary contrastive denoising (BCDN);and 3) IoU-guided box denoising (IBD) modules. To detect small-scale graffiti, this paper proposes SIL to help the loss function to perceive small-scale graffiti and large-scale graffiti fairly. To reduce the false detection of word parts, this article presents the SQS module, which integrates spatial information into the query selection process of the Encoder to filter out falsely detected bounding boxes within the graffiti. To reduce the interference from the background, this article introduces a denoising task with BCDN and IBD modules, improving the model’s ability to distinguish graffiti from the background and accurately select appropriate bounding boxes. A large number of experimental results on the STORM dataset show that our method achieves state-of-the-art results with an AP50 of 87.9%. Moreover, DIG achieved competitive results on the FineFM dataset for mask detection. This indicates that DIG can also be conveniently transferred to detect other scenarios. © 2013 IEEE.
