Knowledge Graph (KG) is an essential research direction that involves storing and managing knowledge data, but its incompleteness and sparsity hinder its development in various applications. Knowledge Graph Reasoning (KGR) is an effective method to solve this limitation via reasoning missing knowledge based on existing knowledge. The graph Convolution Network (GCN) based method is one of the state-of-the-art approaches to this work. However, there are still some problems, such as the insufficient ability to perceive graph structure and the poor effect of learning data features which may limit the reasoning accuracy. This paper proposes a KGR architecture based on a graph sequence generator and multi-head self-attention mechanism, named GaM-KGR, to improve the above problems and enhance prediction accuracy. Specifically, the GaM-KGR first introduces the graph generation model into the field of KGR for graph representation learning to obtain the hidden features in the data so that enhancing the reasoning effect and then embeds the generated graph sequence into the multi-head self-attention mechanism for subsequent processing to improve the graph structure perception ability of the proposed architecture, so that it can process the graph structure data more appropriately. Extensive experimental results show that the GaM-KGR architecture can achieve the state-of-the-art prediction results of current GCN-based models.

SLAM techniques are always used to effectively explore surroundings. To further enhance navigation capabilities, it is essential to filter out dynamic and noisy objects. In this paper, we present an online method that employs a multi-view image-parameterization-based representation, specifically a Bird’s Eye View-Polar View-Range View (BEV-PV-RV) fusion module, for efficient removal of dynamic objects in 3D point clouds. By employing different sizes of projected image windows and varying resolution levels, we can generate confidence levels that determine the disparity between the query scans and the imprecise noisy map derived from a collection of point clouds. Importantly, these points are identified at a granular level. Our iterative process combines the strengths of different projected views, compensating for motion distortions and comparison errors. To evaluate the effectiveness of our approach, we conducted extensive experiments on different sequences of the KITTI dataset. This allows us to successfully eliminate dynamic points, recover static points, and construct a subset that consists mainly of static points with the aid of proposed projected image views. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses demonstrate the robustness, reliability, and high performance of such proposed method.

Anomaly detection refers to the identification of data objects that deviate from the general data distribution. One of the important challenges in anomaly detection is handling high-dimensional data, especially when it contains a large number of redundant attributes. Although traditional Isolation Forest (iForest) and Extended Isolation Forest (EIF) have performed well in anomaly detection, the detection accuracy is still extremely influenced by redundant attributes. In this paper, we propose a two-tier architecture named RS-EIF, to alleviate the negative impact of redundant attributes. Specifically, the RS-EIF combines the rough set theory and EIF algorithm and provides an effective basis for the EIF-based anomaly detection method by removing redundant attributes with rough set theory. Experimental results show that the RS-EIF algorithm performs better than the iForest and EIF algorithms in terms of anomaly detection rate, and the results of the combination of rough set theory and EIF are more prominent compared to the other combination methods.

As medical insurance continues to grow in size, the losses caused by medical insurance fraud cannot be underestimated. Current data mining and predictive techniques have been applied to analyze and explore the health insurance fraud population. However, previous studies only provide summary results and do not show the details of comparative analysis during the visit, resulting in the inability of auditors to quickly identify anomalous behavior. In this paper, we propose a visual analytics system for interactive medical insurance fraud detection to support the exploration and interpretation of different access processes. We propose a weighted MinDL to improve the accuracy of visit pattern classification in the time-series modeling process, and design a data analysis model and visual analysis view based on medical insurance fraud characteristics to reveal and explore the characteristics of medical insurance fraud groups. We collaborate with related organizations to design and implement an interactive visualization for medical insurance fraud group detection using real Medicare data and expert interviews The system is effective and practical in detecting and analyzing medical insurance fraud syndicates. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Semen quality assessment is a very important tool for the timely detection and treatment of infertility disorders. Many artificial intelligence methods for sperm image analysis have emerged in recent years. Sperm detection in sperm microscopy is the first step in semen quality assessment. However, the acquisition of sperm electron microscopy images can produce a variety of different background lighting situations. The performance of established methods is susceptible to changes in background illumination. Therefore, a sperm detection method with heterogeneous Laplacian distribution noise background modeling (HLDNBM) is proposed. In this paper the method uses background illumination surface fitting to eliminate the effect of illumination in a single sperm image, and realizes the segmentation of sperm head and sperm tail with different grayscale by upper and lower segmentation threshold surfaces to achieve complete sperm image segmentation and multi-target detection in a single image. This method effectively avoids the degradation of target detection performance caused by sudden changes in illumination in other background modeling methods. Moreover, this method shows strong adaptability for images with different lighting backgrounds, and is friendly to small datasets as well. The experimental results show that the accuracy and sensitivity of the algorithm for sperm detection in images with different grayscale characteristics are very promising, with high universality and robustness.

In the construction process, wearing safety helmet can effectively reduce the injury caused by falling objects and hard objects. In order to detect the wearing of safety helmet during the construction process, a lightweight safety helmet wearing detection algorithm YOLOv5-CS is proposed and applied to the embedded equipment at the construction site. The algorithm is based on the improvement of YOLOv5 target detection algorithm. The improved CAShuffle module is used to form the backbone feature extraction network, which reduces the size of the original algorithm and ensures the detection accuracy of the algorithm;DIoU as the loss function, which makes the algorithm more conducive to detecting small targets such as hard hats;modify dataset, add the dataset on the basis of the original dataset and mark the safety helmet and the anchor frame of the person separately, and judge whether the worker wears the safety helmet by analyzing positional relationship of the identified anchor frame, use the algorithm combining K-means and genetic algorithm to predict the anchor frame of the dataset, and use Mosaic algorithm to enhance the data. The results show that the parameter quantity of YOLOv5-CS algorithm is 2.4M, less than one third of YOLOv5;The average precision decreased by only 4.2%;640x640 pictures can be recognized at 31 frames per second on Jetson Nano, a embedded platform. © 2022 SPIE.

In the field of computer vision, spatiotemporal action detection is a challenging task. Traditional methods such as YOWO have achieved certain results in real-time and accuracy, but still have shortcomings in dealing with missing detail information, capturing long-distance dependencies, and target overlap problems. In response to these issues, this article proposes a spatiotemporal action detection method based on fine-grained enhancement. Firstly, a dual path fine-grained enhancement module is designed to enhance the ability to extract fine-grained features;Secondly, the self-attention&convolution module was introduced, which can better capture long-distance dependencies and cross level feature relationships;Finally, in order to address the issue of target overlap, the SIoU loss function is introduced to more comprehensively evaluate the similarity between predicted boxes and real boxes. The experimental results show that the proposed method achieves 86.4% F-mAP and 52.6% V-mAP on the UCF101-24 dataset, 20.5% F-mAP on the AVA dataset, and only 44.0 GFlops with an FPS of 34, ensuring the real-time performance of the proposed method with higher accuracy than SOTA model. In addition, the ablation experiment further demonstrated the effectiveness of each module in this paper. Overall, this method significantly improves the accuracy of spatiotemporal action detection while maintaining high efficiency, providing an effective solution for real-time action detection. © 2024, The Authors. Fuzzing is increasingly being utilized as a method to test the reliability of Deep Learning (DL) systems. In order to detect more errors in DL systems, exploring the internal logic of more DNNs has become the main objective of fuzzing. Despite advancements in the seed selection aspect of fuzzing, considerable opportunities still exist for improving testing efficiency. Current research has issues with the repeated consideration of neurons in the model that will be covered in the future by other seeds, leading to redundant seeds and lower testing efficiency. Additionally, there is a lack of a method to measure the potential of seeds to increase coverage, making it difficult to select the most worthy seeds for mutation in each iteration. We propose an uncovered neurons information based (UNIB) fuzzing method for DNN. UNIB uses clustering methods to organize the seed queue based on initial seed data, aiming to enhance the coverage rate improved in each iteration. It also integrates coverage information from the testing phase to identify the seeds with the greatest potential. The experimental results show that UNIB achieved a higher NC than the second-best method by 1.1% and 3% in LetNet-4 and LetNet-5, respectively. UNIB consistently required the fewest number of iterations to reach the same NC as other methods. For both LetNet-4 and LetNet-5, the adversarial test case sets generated by UNIB exhibited the highest diversity.

In this paper, we propose a Stable Age Translation GAN (SATGAN) to generate fake face images at different ages to augment age biased face datasets for Cross-Age Face Recognition (CAFR). The proposed SATGAN consists of both generator and discriminator. As a part of the generator, a novel Mask Attention Module (MAM) is introduced to make the generator focus on the face area. In addition, the generator employs a Uniform Distribution Discriminator (UDD) to supervise the learning of latent feature map and enforce the uniform distribution. Besides, the discriminator employs a Feature Separation Module (FSM) to disentangle identity information from the age information. The quantitative and qualitative evaluations on Morph dataset prove that SATGAN achieves much better performance than existing methods. The face recognition model trained using dataset (VGGFace2 and MS-Celeb-lM) augmented using our SATGAN achieves better accuracy on cross age dataset like Cross-Age LFW and AgeDB-30.

In gastroenteroscopy image analysis, numerous CADs demonstrate that deep learning aids doctors' diagnosis. The shapes and sizes of the lesions are varied. And in the clinic, the dataset appears to be data imbalanced. However, existing methods directly classify by texture and ignore lesions with various shapes and sizes. To address the issue above, we propose a deep neural network, which consists of multi-scale feature extraction, contrastive feature learning and a multi-scale feature fusion module. We train the contrastive feature learning module and multi-scale feature fusion module simultaneously to alleviate the issue of data distribution differences. Thus, the proposed network can better identify various categories. Extensive experiments on the Hyper Kvasir dataset show that the proposed Hybrid-M2CL outperforms the benchmark proposed by the dataset with 5.0% Macro Precision, 3.3% Macro Recall, 3.4% Macro F1-score, 3.3% Micro Precision, 3.6% MCC. In addition, it outperforms the SOTA by 1.1% Macro F1-score, 2.6% MCC, and 2.0% B-ACC.
