Hybrid learning is a type of educational system in which some students attend class in person while others engage virtually from home. Hybrid learning has been applied in all educational institutions since the pandemic. BINUS University used a Learning Management System called Binusmaya to support teaching and learning activities for both hybrid and fully online learning. The objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness of hybrid learning at BINUS University based on student performance academically and non-academically. It focuses on students from the 2019–2020 academic year. The survey obtained 200 replies using a quantitative technique and a Google form as the media questionnaire. Previous research has shown that hybrid learning provides effective results in terms of academic achievement. Compared to this study, few criteria are used to measure the effectiveness of hybrid learning, such as environment, knowledge, and skills. In addition, we have added the comparison between hybrid learning and the full online method at BINUS University. The results indicate that hybrid learning is ineffective compared to fully online learning. Furthermore, hybrid students were dissatisfied with their overall results, and students pursuing full-time online courses outperformed hybrid students. This study also provides some approaches to increasing the effectiveness of hybrid learning at BINUS University. © Authors retain all copyrights.

Now the YouTube is one of the platforms that can help students to learn more easiest related the courses in University. The purpose of this study is to be able to analysis of content from School of Information systems BINUS University (SIS BINUS) YouTube channel. And the benefit of this research is to increase interesting of students to watch the content related motivation and supporting material of courses in University on the YouTube platform. The method used for this research to get the best practice are to create comparisons via the *** web to analysis secondary data related the content on YouTube of two universities and collect the data also from several existing journals. And to get the insights from student perspective, we did depth interviews with students that have the experience watched the YouTube channel of School of Information systems. The results of this study are creating YouTube SIS BINUS more understandable students needs related the content that can attracting the student attention. © 2021 IEEE.

The article presents approaches to the development of robotic systems based on the use of virtual prototypes, known as digital twins. Also, usage of such systems for walking robotic mechanisms are demonstrated by the example of developing an experimental debugging platform that supports both the design of algorithms for robot behavior at the upper level of the control hierarchy and the design of control algorithms for its nodes at the lower level. Authors used different basic tooling systems integrated with each other through cross-platform tools, such as Gazebo, V-Rep, IAR embedded Workbench, Quartus, Fuzzy51 and several others. © 2019 IEEE.

Social media is used as an online communication today. In addition, institutions, schools, and companies make social media as a part of media marketing to introduce their brands. Instagram will be discussed in this study because the majority I-Generation in Indonesia used Instagram. Universities use Instagram for marketing media by posting photos and videos with captions. Besides posting, the engagement between users and university social media accounts is very important for marketing purpose. In this research, we will learn about how much user engagement to university social media in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to identify user's opinion about university Instagram official accounts and to analyze the engagement of five top universities official Instagram account in Indonesia with *** tool and questionnaire survey for one university as a case study. The result of this study can be used as advice or input about social media engagement for university official Instagram account.

As the fastest growing field of information technologies, Internet of Things is the important question for embedded systems developers. The number of embedded systems in the IoT increases steadily and specialists should be able to implement it faster, without losing any quality level. Current research introduces a way to develop a system using ready-made components, configuring and integrating them among themselves, via high level API. These components represent different parts of distributed embedded system, such as control programs, communication nodes, web applications etc. Our approach presents the easy-to-understand development process, used to support students in learning of embedded systems as a part of IoT. © 2018 The Authors. PRINCE IP-core on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA)

This study presents a high execution-speed and low-resource hardware IP-Core of PRINCE light weight block cipher on a Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). The new FPGA IP-core is to speed-up the performance of PRINCE, superseding software implementation that is typically slow and inefficient. The design of this IP core is based on concurrent concept in encrypting blocks of 64 bits data, in that each block is executed within one clock cycle, resulting in high throughput and low latency. Though this IP core encrypts data at high speed processing, it consumes relatively low power. The hardware design can allow encryption, decryption and key schedule to utilize identical hardware components, in order to reduce further the FPGA resources. This efficient PRINCE hardware architecture has been coded using Very High speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language (VHDL). Also, a bus interface has been included as part of PRINCE IP core to allow it to communicate with an on-chip microprocessor. The IP core has been successfully synthesized, mapped, simulated and tested on an FPGA evaluation board. The test program that has been written in "C" to evaluate this IP-Core on a Virtex-403 FPGA board yields an encryption throughput of 2.03 Gbps or resource efficiency of 2.126 Mbps/slice. © Maxwell Scientific Organization, 2015.
