Various obstacles[poor tissue penetration,hypoxic tumor microenvironment,and reactive oxygen species(ROS)production quenching due to aggregation]obstruct imaging-guided high-efficiency phototherapy targeting ***,nanophthalocyanine(ZnPcN4-TF)is elaborately designed based on a synthetic phthalocyanine derivative(ZnPcN4)and nonimmunogenic transferrin(TF)through multiple noncovalent interactions for photoacoustic(PA)imaging-guided *** conjugating electron-rich amino groups effectively suppressed fluorescence and ROS generation due to the strong photoinduced electron transfer effect,ZnPcN4 became an ideal photothermal and PA imaging ***4-TF not only effectively targeted tumor sites and accumulated there,but also,surprisingly,facilitated the enhancement of ROS production via a type I process in an aggregate compared to ZnPcN4 itself,potentially due to accelerated electron ***,ZnPcN4-TF had a substantially more powerful photothermal effect than ZnPcN4 ***,this design effectively overcomes the obstacles to photodynamic therapy(aggregation-related ROS generation quenching in a hypoxic environment).Furthermore,PA imaging solves the tissue penetration challenge in optical *** study provides a broader base for designing novel photosensitizers to improve phototherapy under hypoxia.

Visual Question Answering (VQA) system responds to a natural language question in context of an image. This problem has been primarily formulated as a classification problem with the answers as the finite number of classes. Thus, the generated response consists of a single word or a short phrase. However, this also limits the linguistic capabilities of such a system. In contrast, this work presents a Sentence-based VQA (S-VQA) which responds to questions with complete sentences as answers. The first contribution of this work is the development of a dataset from the Task Directed Image Understanding Challenge (TDIUC) VQA dataset using natural language rules and pretrained para-phrasers. This new dataset is referred to as TDIUC-SVQA. The second contribution involves the performance evaluation of multiple models on the TDIUC-SVQA dataset. This is performed by using two multi-modal models. The Bottom-Up Top-Down Attention based VQA model is combined with LSTM decoder and Attention-on-Attention Network for answer generation. The proposed models are observed to provide improved results compared to the baseline model.

Phishing attacks present a persistent and evolving threat in the cybersecurity land-scape,necessitating the development of more sophisticated detection *** machine learning approaches to phishing detection have relied heavily on feature engineering and have often fallen short in adapting to the dynamically changing patterns of phishingUniformResource Locator(URLs).Addressing these challenge,we introduce a framework that integrates the sequential data processing strengths of a Recurrent Neural Network(RNN)with the hyperparameter optimization prowess of theWhale Optimization Algorithm(WOA).Ourmodel capitalizes on an extensive Kaggle dataset,featuring over 11,000 URLs,each delineated by 30 *** WOA’s hyperparameter optimization enhances the RNN’s performance,evidenced by a meticulous validation *** results,encapsulated in precision,recall,and F1-score metrics,surpass baseline models,achieving an overall accuracy of 92%.This study not only demonstrates the RNN’s proficiency in learning complex patterns but also underscores the WOA’s effectiveness in refining machine learning models for the critical task of phishing detection.

The phenomenon of urbanization in Indonesia is inevitable. The new residential and economic centers in suburban areas is also a problem in city development. The gradual planning and development of smart cities in a living lab require consideration of the right location for a living lab. This study wants to show that suburban areas as city buffer zones can become living laboratories for smart city development. The diversity of situations in cities and regencies across Indonesia, the potential for resources, and the problems faced are the challenges of developing a living lab-Garuda Smart City Framework. This research uses the method of reviewing the literature of research publications for the last five years (2019-2023) to obtain information on Smart City development in Indonesia. We collected selected articles from databases in Google Scholar, IEEE, and Scopus using the Publish and Perish 8. The search keywords used were garuda AND Smart city AND Framework. The findings show the potential and dynamics of buffer zones to become appropriate living laboratories. Smart city regional planning can more holistically involve neighborhoods and address urban issues. © 2023 IEEE.

Two main factors that limiting the efficiency of the p-type solar cells are LID(Light Induced Degradation) and LeTID(Light and elevated temperature induced degradation). The major cause of LID is the formation of boron-oxygen defects in boron doped silicon. The LeTID is similar kinds as LID, but also occurs in the dark condition and by the recombination of metals and impurities or the reaction between the hydrogen and arbitrary substance. An overall 7% of LeTID degradation rate occurs over long-term scales. Unexpectedly, these degradations have been recently found to also arises in high purity materials such as float-zone(Fz-Si) and Czochralski-grown(Cz-Si). The proposed method to reduce these two degradations is to use appropriate firing process and annealing conditions. © 2021 Korean Institute of electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.

Neurodegenerative disease is a growing global problem. Many of these diseases such as Parkinson's disease can cause grip strength weakness. In this work, we focused on developing an e-Textile based EMG acquisition system interfaced with an adaptive VR game engine for detecting hand squeeze actions. We prototyped and performed preliminary tests on a grip detection system consisting of: 1) an e-Textile forearm band (E-band), 2) a portable data acquisition module (DAM), and 3) an adaptive 3D VR game engine. Digital health solutions such as our VRGrip system widen the scope of in-home rehabilitation and assessment, and we aimed to make the first step in creating a system for grip strength rehabilitation. To validate our concept, we performed preliminary tests. These tests revealed that the Bluetooth communication protocol between DAM and the game engine was reliable, that the adaptive game engine successfully tailors the game's difficulty level to the user's performance, and that the system was reliable at detecting hand squeezes (F=0.96). © 2023 IEEE.

Increasing demand for wearable sensors for multipurpose applications have made it an essential part of our everyday life. In such a scenario;reusability, flexibility, cost effectiveness, and integrability of such sensors are among the top desirable features. Using our casual clothing as sensors can be one of the most effective ways for various therapeutic, diagnostic, and continuous monitoring functionalities. Conducting yarns, possibly, have the capability to deeply influence the 4th industrial revolution and rule the e-textile based smart wearables for wide range applications. Herein, we present a comparative experimental study of three different capacitive sensor structures for humidity sensing applications. These structures have been explored using conducting yarns having tungsten metal as core conducting materials. © 2023 IEEE.

Research has been carried out to monitor vehicle tires before they are used and can reduce damage, including overcoming vehicle fuel waste because air pressure is continuously monitored. This research aims to utilize the MPX5500DP sensor as an air pressure device, the LM35 sensor as a temperature reader, and a buzzer based on IoT to build a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The MPX5500DP and LM35 sensor inputs to the Arduino Uno microcontroller are distributed by the NodeMCU, fitted with a Wi-Fi module. The Blynk application sends and displays the data on a smartphone using the IoT-based. Based on this research, data on the percentage of errors in monitoring air pressure and tire temperature on vehicles were obtained by comparing the data to the pressure gauge and thermometer: 1-the results of the average reading of the sensor error value. MPX5500DP air pressure against pressure gauge is 5.3%. 2-the average reading of the LM35 sensor error value on the temperature thermometer is 6.8%. With this research, the air pressure and temperature in the tires can be monitored in real-Time via a smartphone using the IoT-based. © 2022 IEEE.

Incompatibility as a Resource for programmable Quantum Instruments

Quantum instruments represent the most general type of quantum measurement, as they incorporate processes with both classical and quantum outputs. In many scenarios, it may be desirable to have some “on-demand” device that is capable of implementing one of many possible instruments whenever the experimenter desires. We refer to such objects as programmable instrument devices (PIDs), and this paper studies PIDs from a resource-theoretic perspective. A physically important class of PIDs are those that do not require quantum memories to implement, and these are naturally “free” in this resource theory. Additionally, these free objects correspond precisely to the class of unsteerable channel assemblages in the study of channel steering. The traditional notion of measurement incompatibility emerges as a resource in this theory since any PID controlling an incompatible family of instruments requires a quantum memory to build. We identify an incompatibility preorder between PIDs based on whether one can be transformed into another using processes that do not require additional quantum memories. Necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for when such transformations are possible based on how well certain guessing games can be played using a given PID. Ultimately our results provide an operational characterization of incompatibility, and they offer semi-device-independent tests for incompatibility in the most general types of quantum instruments.
