Real-time social interactions and multi-streaming are two critical features of live streaming services. In this paper, we formulate a new fundamental service query, Social-aware Diverse and Preferred Organization Query (SDSQ), that jointly selects a set of diverse and preferred live streaming channels and a group of socially tight viewers for organization of a live multi-streaming soiree. We prove that SDSQ is NP-hard and inapproximable within any factor, and design SDSSel, a 2-approximation algorithm with a guaranteed error bound. Moreover, we study SDSQ-T, a special case of SDSQ, where the social graph is a threshold graph, and propose TDSSel, a 2-approximation algorithm without any error to SDSQ-T. We propose two pruning strategies, PCP and CDP to boost SDSSel and TDSSel. We further propose a more challenging but practical service query, Generalized Social-aware Maximum Preferred and Diverse Query (GSPQ), a generalization of SDSQ. We design GPDSel, a 4-approximation algorithm for GSPQ with a guaranteed error bound. We propose a strategy to improve the approximation ratios of the proposed algorithms. A user study on Twitch validates SDSQ, and the large-scale experiments on real datasets demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithms over several baselines for live-streaming services. © 2008-2012 IEEE.

To develop software for embedded systems the designer must take into account different kinds of problems and complexities. The main issues are related to late integration with the target hardware and the separation of the development environments from target execution platforms. Due to the fact that in most situations they are developed using low-level programming languages, approaches to develop complex software systems, such as component based software development, cannot be used at all. In this work we introduce a component based development process that integrates colored Petri nets and a component model in order to introduce better abstraction mechanisms in the modelling, analysis and verification processes for embedded software systems. ©2005 IEEE.

Multi-robot systems can provide substantial increase in efficiency and/or flexibility in different scenarios. Applications in various settings have been studied in the literature, such as disaster management, surveillance, object transportation as well as search-and-rescue. A particular case that can highly benefit from the employment of multiple agents is the logistics in a warehouse scenario. This work proposes an multi-agent Q-learning based algorithm with curriculum learning and transfer learning to perform the path planning process. With progressively more complex stages of training as well as knowledge transfer from one stage to another, the algorithm is capable of achieve high success rates. In order to validate the proposed method, simulations were done to compare it to other combinations of the used techniques, as well as using Q-learning only. Scalability tests were also performed. The proposed method achieved up to 94% success rate after training. © 2023 IEEE.

The development of the internet is getting faster, participating in encouraging the emergence of new and innovative information. In filtering the various information that appears, we need a recommended system to perform well for users in today's internet era. A well-performing recommendation system in question is a reliable recommendation algorithm. This algorithm is fundamental to analyzing various information, such as responses on social media based on user behavior data related to the topic of COVID. This data is crawled from tweets on social media Twitter. The data analysis algorithm obtained uses Python, which is then visualized in the form of a diagram. The processed data is user comments on Twitter, and the text data is analyzed using Python, using more than 60000 data sets taken to form visualizations and conclusions. From sentiment analysis, polarity and subjectivity data are obtained to be analyzed, which are negative, neutral, or positive. The result is show positive tweets with 29.2%, negative tweets is 13%, and 57.8% neutral tweets. Lastly, sentiment analysis can help people effectively infer vast and complex data from social media like Twitter. © 2022 IEEE.

Early screening of diabetes retinopathy(DR)plays an important role in preventing irreversible *** research has failed to fully explore effective DR lesion information in fundus ***,traditional attention schemes have not considered the impact of lesion type differences on grading,resulting in unreasonable extraction of important lesion ***,this paper proposes a DR diagnosis scheme that integrates a multi-level patch attention generator(MPAG)and a lesion localization module(LLM).Firstly,MPAGis used to predict patches of different sizes and generate a weighted attention map based on the prediction score and the types of lesions contained in the patches,fully considering the impact of lesion type differences on grading,solving the problem that the attention maps of lesions cannot be further refined and then adapted to the final DR diagnosis ***,the LLM generates a global attention map based on ***,the weighted attention map and global attention map are weighted with the fundus map to fully explore effective DR lesion information and increase the attention of the classification network to lesion *** paper demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method through extensive experiments on the public DDR dataset,obtaining an accuracy of 0.8064.

Batik is an Indonesian world cultural heritage. Batik consists of many kinds of patterns depending on where the batik comes from, Batik-making techniques continue to develop along with technology development. Among the batik making techniques that are widely used are hand-written, stamping, and printing. Batik motifs have been widely used as research material, especially in the field of artificial intelligence. The diverse appearance of batik motifs has attracted many researchers to carry out research on making synthetic batik patterns, one of which uses a Generative Adversarial Network. This paper presents a synthetic batik pattern model based on the Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Network with Gradient Penalty. This model has been proven to create new synthetic batik patterns quite well and almost identical with images provided in the dataset, with the notes if the dataset provided is large. © 2023 IEEE.

We characterize the impact of the Cell Broadband Engine architecture, on commonly used radar DSP algorithms. We use the capabilities of the CBE to accelerate several key computational kernels including Matrix Multiplication, Matrix Inversion, and the Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter. These algorithms are implemented and benchmarked as library routines within the X-Midas Toolkit. We observe speedups as large as 1200x for complex matrix multiplication, but speedups of 40x to 60x are more typical. We find that system I/O overhead within the X-Midas toolkit severely limited the performance of the applications. © 2012 IEEE.

Understanding cellular functions, particularly in their intricate complexity, can greatly benefit from the spatial mapping of diverse molecules through multitarget single-molecule localization microscopy (SMLM). Existing methodologies, primarily restricting the encoding dimensions to color and lifetime or requiring cyclic staining, often involve broad chromatic detection, specialized optical configurations, or sophisticated labeling techniques. Here, we propose a simple approach called buffer-exchange stochastic optical reconstruction microscopy (beSTORM), which introduces an additional dimension to differentiate between single molecules irrespective of their spectral properties. This method leverages the distinguishable photoblinking responses to distinct buffer conditions, offering a straightforward yet effective means of fluorophore discrimination. Through buffer exchanges, beSTORM achieves multitarget SMLM imaging with minimal crosstalk. Direct integration with expansion microscopy (ExM) demonstrates its capability to resolve up to six proteins at the molecular level within a single emission color without chromatic aberration. Overall, beSTORM presents a highly compatible imaging platform, promising significant advancements in highly multiplexed nanoscopy for exploring multiple targets in biological systems with nanoscale precision. © 2024 The Authors. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is an acute viral infectious disease caused by the dengue virus. Transmitted through the bite of Aedes Mosquitoes and divided into 4 severity. Severity 1 and 2 are characterized by a decrease in platelet levels below normal and there is a change in hemoconcentration, while Severity 3 and 4 are included in Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS). The purpose of the study was to classify the severity of dengue, based on age, gender, platelets, body temperature, bleeding, and also doctor's recommendation. The advancement of information technology is the reason for the development of medical science, especially with artificial intelligence. Abundant medical data becomes a source that can be processed in improving the quality of medical information. The method chosen is Random Forest, kNN, Decision Tree and Naïve Bayes. The dataset used is the medical records of all DHF patients for 30 months in the period Jan 2019 to June 2021, at the Nadhifa Al Ghiffari Clinic in Bojongsoang District, Bandung Regency. © 2022 IEEE.
