This study aims to identify global trends in intellectual property patents and the patent landscape related to social media in education. Researchers applied a patent landscape analysis using data on 17,471 patent intellectual property documents from the Lens database. The study results show that every year, in general, the number of patents about social media in education is rising. There are entrepreneurial opportunities without paying royalties using 3,623 patent discontinues related to social media in education. Patent intellectual property related to social media in education is dominated by company ownership and inventors from the United States. Patents related to social media in education are dominated by the physics (G) and electricity (H) sections. There are 8,260 simple family social media patents in education in 7 jurisdictions of countries or regions and the highest in the United States. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

This study aims to review existing literature and research on disruptive innovation and entrepreneurship. The literature was systematically examined according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) principles for systematic review. Following an exhaustive scan of the Scopus database, 32 peer-reviewed articles were included. Several published works are displayed on disruptive innovation and entrepreneurship from the multilevel analysis, perspective analysis, entrepreneurship industry, and disruptive innovation type. The United States was the top research nation, and the most perspective analysis was strategy level. Further research that can be carried out, such as research on disruptive innovation on entrepreneurship, uses a group of construction, mining, and manufacturing. © 2023 The Authors. Software project outcomes heavily depend on natural language requirements,often causing diverse interpretations and issues like ambiguities and incomplete or faulty *** are exploring machine learning to predict software bugs,but a more precise and general approach is *** bug prediction is crucial for software evolution and user training,prompting an investigation into deep and ensemble learning ***,these studies are not generalized and efficient when extended to other ***,this paper proposed a hybrid approach combining multiple techniques to explore their effectiveness on bug identification *** methods involved feature selection,which is used to reduce the dimensionality and redundancy of features and select only the relevant ones;transfer learning is used to train and test the model on different datasets to analyze how much of the learning is passed to other datasets,and ensemble method is utilized to explore the increase in performance upon combining multiple classifiers in a *** National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA)and four Promise datasets are used in the study,showing an increase in the model’s performance by providing better Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve(AUC-ROC)values when different classifiers were *** reveals that using an amalgam of techniques such as those used in this study,feature selection,transfer learning,and ensemble methods prove helpful in optimizing the software bug prediction models and providing high-performing,useful end mode.

Portfolio selection is an important part of investment management that aims to select the right combination of assets to achieve an optimal risk-return ratio. This study integrates the Mean-Variance Theory utilizing the 30-year historical returns of the Philippine Stock Exchange. Three subsectors of the Industrial Sector were used as the investment pool. The back-test results showed that the Mean-Variance portfolios of selected subsectors can outperform the industrial sector and not the market. Stakeholders must be cautious when investing in these three subsectors, considering the values obtained from the simulations. There are recommended portfolio selections wherein companies have a specific allocation that investors and financial managers can use whenever they decide to invest in these subsectors. Overall, this study offers a framework for investors to use as a guide in diversifying their stakes in the Philippine Stock Exchange. © 2024 IEEE.

The food supply chain at present is important to the human and there have a lot of transportation modes to distribute food from manufacturer to customer also business to business. The customers there need fresh food and the providers always find the best way in logistics that send their food to customers with the best quality and fresh, that is why the cold chain of logistics is popular and needs to improve more for the customers. However, there is no clear way to improve the performance and assessment of food logistics service, the aim of this study focused on service quality of food logistics and identify a set of service quality dimensions that developed from the SERVQUAL model for measuring their logistics process after that researcher prioritized the dimensions and sub-dimensions by Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and finalize the local weight and global weight from AHP result. Finally, this research has shown the providers and the customers were prioritized for punctuality in food logistics service. It should be concern and improvement about punctuality in a food logistics service at the same time, the worst dimension of the provider's perspective is tangible and the customer perspective is empathy, that they did not pay attention it should be improved later. © 2023 IEEE.

Knowledge of patents relevant to business analytics (business analytics) is very important for entrepreneurs and companies in developing environmentally friendly business and innovation strategies. This study aims to find out the patent landscape and the main trends in patent intellectual property on the topic of business analytics around the world by using bibliometric analysis. Researchers applied an analysis of the patent landscape using data on 4,731 patent intellectual property documents from the Lens database. The results of the study show that every year in general there is an increasing trend in the number of patents related to the field of business analytics. Patents related to business analytics are dominated by the physics (G) and electricity (H) patent sections. There is an entrepreneurial opportunity without paying royalties by using 234 patent discontinues related to business analytics. Intellectual property patents related to business analytics are dominated by company ownership and inventors from the United States. There are 2,143 simple family patent business analytics in 12 jurisdictions of countries or regions and the highest is the United States. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, the ecotourism business suffered greatly. Physical distance was widely adopted at the start of COVID-19 expansion, making physical tourism activities unfeasible. The negative impact of the pandemic has prompted many researchers to assist the tourist sector, particularly Ecotourism, as the subject of this research. The current study focuses on global academic ecotourism researchers from the COVID-19 epidemic period. The specific time frame is between the years 2020 and 2021. As a reliable consideration, a Scopus-indexed database is used. There are a total of 2071 publications extracted. Environmental science and social science accounted for 24.9 and 23.4 percent of all articles, respectively. The top two publications by country/territory were from two major, populous countries, China and Indonesia. The percentage of article type is 79.2 percent. This study includes more comments. This research assists both scholars and practitioners in the sector. © 2023 ACM.

The COVID-19 pandemic is undoubtedly causing new habits that will affect several sectors around the world. The hotel business has taken a significant impact as a result of the physical distance regulation. Although numerous health and safety measures have been developed to ensure health and economic balance, there are still many variables to learn. Further, tiny businesses, such as budget hotels, must consider carefully about protocols and economic aspects. The current study is based on a review of the global academic literature on Budget Hotel scientometric analysis of the post-COVID-19 pandemic epidemic. The literature was collected from the Scopus database between 2020 and 2022. The study gathered 97 Scopus-indexed papers. The findings revealed that the most affordable hotel is examined as the highest category by journal publications on business management topics. The United States dominated further research origins, and the year 2020 is the largest research number. The visual mapping produces eight large groupings. Surprisingly, COVID-19 and pandemics are rarely investigated. Furthermore, just a few countries and cities were investigated. More crucially, merely a few chats about the cheap hotel in 2022, when the vaccines are distributed internationally, opens the door to a vast range of research prospects. The report includes other recommendations. © 2023 ACM.

This paper presents a framework for portfolio selection in the transportation services, hotel and leisure, and education subsectors of the Philippine market using the mean-variance model. Using the service sector and the broader market as benchmarks, this study spans 7,670 test days from January 1, 1993, to December 31, 2022, identifying optimal risk-return factors (RRFs) of 0.4 for transportation, 0.2 for hotel and leisure, and 0.3 for education. Furthermore, the higher percentage allocations the investors are recommended to invest in are international Container Terminal Services, Inc., Waterfront Philippines, Incorporated, and Far Eastern University, Incorporated. Paired t-test results, with p-values below 0.01 and 0.05, indicate these subsectors can outperform the service sector. The study also conducted a comparative analysis with 30-year historical data to crisis periods like the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) and the COVID-19 pandemic, exhibiting distinct performance trends and emphasizing the need for tailored strategies during economic disruptions. The findings of this research may provide an alternative portfolio selection model for investors seeking to optimize their investment portfolios. © 2024 IEEE.

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), established in 1927, has significantly evolved, especially since the 1980s with major reforms and technological advancements. This paper analyzes the performance of portfolios in the Media, Telecommunications, and Information Technology sectors listed on the PSE over a 30-year span. Using mean-variance analysis, it evaluates portfolio optimization by balancing risk and return. Drawing on data from 1993 to 2022, the study examines portfolios across various risk-return frontiers (RRFs) and compares the service sector's performance. The results highlight varying portfolio metrics across RRFs, with some showing outperformance and higher RRFs leading to diminishing returns. The study also identifies key companies with significant stock allocations, providing strategic insights for portfolio construction. These findings offer investors guidance on optimizing portfolio strategies within the PSE for better decision-making and investment outcomes. © 2024 IEEE.
