Self-organization feature mapping (SOFM) networks have strong ability for self-learning and self-adaptive. According to the characteristics of human thought, this paper constructed a kind of combined criterion, which may be used to guide the learning of self-organization feature mapping network. Then this paper presents subsection algorithm, amalgamation algorithm and dynamical adaptive algorithm for SOFM networks so as to solve a kind of problems of classification rule mining. Finally, a practical example shows its flexibility and practicability.

In this paper, a hierarchical image matting model is proposed to extract blood vessels from fundus images. More specifically, a hierarchical strategy utilizing the continuity and extendibility of retinal blood vessels is integrated into the image matting model for blood vessel segmentation. Normally the matting models require the user specified trimap, which separates the input image into three regions manually: the foreground, background and unknown regions. However, since creating a user specified trimap is a tedious and time-consuming task, region features of blood vessels are used to generate the trimap automatically in this paper. The proposed model has low computational complexity and outperforms many other state-of-art supervised and unsupervised methods in terms of accuracy, which achieves a vessel segmentation accuracy of 96.0%, 95.7% and 95.1% in an average time of 10.72s, 15.74s and 50.71s on images from three publicly available fundus image datasets DRIVE, STARE, and CHASE_DB1, respectively. Semantic Web (SW) has attracted the increasing attention of researchers, which facilitates people to link and handle various data. Ontology is the kernel technique of SW, and biomedical ontology is a state-of-art biomedical knowledge modeling technique, which formally defines the biomedical concepts and their relationships. However, the same biomedical concepts in different biomedical ontologies could be defined in various contexts or with different terms, which yields the biomedical ontology heterogeneity problem. It is crucial to find mapping among heterogeneity concepts of different biomedical ontologies for bridging the semantic gaps, which is the so-called biomedical ontology matching. Biomedical ontology matching problem is an open challenge due to the rich semantic meaning and the flexible representation on a biomedical concept. To address this challenging problem, in this work, it is regarded as a binary classification problem, and a Long Short-Term Memory Networks (LSTM)-based ontology matching technique is proposed to solve it. Our proposal improves the quality of the alignment by introducing the char-embedding technique, which takes into account the semantic and context information of concepts. The comparing results with OAEI's participants show the effectiveness of our proposal.

Traditional multicast routing methods have some problems in constructing a multicast tree, such as limited access to network state information, poor adaptability to dynamic and complex changes in the network, and inflexible data forwarding. To address these defects, the optimal multicast routing problem in software-defined networking (SDN) is tailored as a multi-objective optimization problem, and an intelligent multicast routing algorithm DRL-M4MR based on the deep Q network (DQN) deep reinforcement learning (DRL) method is designed to construct a multicast tree in SDN. First, the multicast tree state matrix, link bandwidth matrix, link delay matrix, and link packet loss rate matrix are designed as the state space of the DRL agent by combining the global view and control of the SDN. Second, the action space of the agent is all the links in the network, and the action selection strategy is designed to add the links to the current multicast tree under four cases. Third, single-step and final reward function forms are designed to guide the intelligence to make decisions to construct the optimal multicast tree. The experimental results show that, compared with existing algorithms, the multicast tree construct by DRL-M4MR can obtain better bandwidth, delay, and packet loss rate performance after training, and it can make more intelligent multicast routing decisions in a dynamic network environment. Hand hygiene is a standard six-step hand-washing action proposed by the World Health Organization (WHO). However, there is no good way to supervise medical staff to do hand hygiene, which brings the potential risk of disease spread. Existing action assessment works usually make an overall quality prediction on an entire video. However, the internal structures of hand hygiene action are important in hand hygiene assessment. Therefore, we propose a novel fine-grained learning framework to perform step segmentation and key action scorer in a joint manner for accurate hand hygiene assessment. Existing temporal segmentation methods usually employ multi-stage convolutional network to improve the segmentation robustness, but easily lead to over-segmentation due to the lack of the long-range dependence. To address this issue, we design a multi-stage convolution-transformer network for step segmentation. Based on the observation that each hand-washing step involves several key actions which determine the hand-washing quality, we design a set of key action scorers to evaluate the quality of key actions in each step. In addition, there lacks a unified dataset in hand hygiene assessment. Therefore, under the supervision of medical staff, we contribute a video dataset that contains 300 video sequences with fine-grained annotations. Extensive experiments on the dataset suggest that our method well assesses hand hygiene videos and achieves outstanding performance. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Ensuring the reliability of face recognition systems against presentation attacks necessitates the deployment of face anti-spoofing techniques. Despite considerable advancements in this domain, the ability of even the most state-of-the-art methods to defend against adversarial examples remains elusive. While several adversarial defense strategies have been proposed, they typically suffer from constrained practicability due to inevitable trade-offs between universality, effectiveness, and efficiency. To overcome these challenges, we thoroughly delve into the coupled relationship between adversarial detection and face anti-spoofing. Based on this, we propose a robust face anti-spoofing framework, namely AdvFAS, that leverages two coupled scores to accurately distinguish between correctly detected and wrongly detected face images. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our framework in a variety of settings, including different attacks, datasets, and backbones, meanwhile enjoying high accuracy on clean examples. Efficient spatialtemporal context modeling for action recognition?

Contextual information plays an important role in action recognition. Local operations have difficulty to model the relation between two elements with a long-distance interval. However, directly modeling the contextual information between any two points brings huge cost in computation and memory, especially for action recognition, where there is an additional temporal dimension. Inspired from 2D criss-cross attention used in segmentation task, we propose a recurrent 3D criss-cross attention (RCCA-3D) module to model the dense long-range spatiotemporal contextual information in video for action recognition. The global context is factorized into sparse relation maps. We model the relationship between points in the same line along the direction of horizon, vertical and depth at each time, which forms a 3D criss-cross structure, and duplicate the same operation with recurrent mechanism to transmit the relation between points in a line to a plane finally to the whole spatiotemporal space. Compared with the non-local method, the proposed RCCA-3D module reduces the number of parameters and FLOPs by 25% and 30% for video context modeling. We evaluate the performance of RCCA-3D with two latest action recognition networks on three datasets and make a thorough analysis of the architecture, obtaining the optimal way to factorize and fuse the relation maps. Comparisons with other state-of-the-art methods demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of our model. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Materials and methods 43 patients with intracranial micro-aneurysms were analyzed retrospectively, all patients had undergone angiography with both conventional 2D-DSA(Two-Dimensional Digital subtraction Angiography) and rotational angiography with three-dimensional reconstruction; the frequency of detection of aneurysms, depiction of aneurysm neck, radiation dose, and the dosage of contrast agent were recorded respectively. Results 55 pieces of aneurysms were detected out from the 43 cases with intracranial micro-aneurysms by 3D-RA. But only 39 cases were detected out using 2D-DSA from the 55 samples, there were significant differences with regards to detection rate (P < 0.05). There were significant differences in radiation dose and dosage of contrast agent (P < 0.05) between the two methods of using 3D-RA can improve the detection rate of micro-aneurysms, which bestows obvious advantages on displaying the shape of aneurysms, the aneurysm neck at the best angle, and the relationship with the parent artery, at the same time, the amount of contrast agent and radiation dose are reduced in 3D-RA compared to 2D-DSA.
