Traditional warning signs use human retrograde placement;there are problems such as short warning distances, imprecise placement positions, and difficult positioning of accident points. According to statistics, the user's reaction time after facing a car accident is generally 1.05–1.28 s, and the reaction time to light is 0.225 s. The reaction time for the user to deal with a car accident independently is completely insufficient, and these reasons are the main reasons for secondary traffic accidents. In order to solve this social pain point, we designed a new intelligent triangle warning sign. The intelligent warning sign is installed with an intelligent base at the bottom, and it gets the traffic accident point precisely located when the intelligent warning sign is working, and the system gets the vehicle accident point and reminds the vehicles behind to pay attention to avoid, realizing the three-way interconnection of drivers and passengers, traffic control departments, and the personnel of the vehicles behind, and using the automatic navigation algorithm to realize the automatic navigation of the warning sign to protect the safety of drivers and passengers. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2024.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an invaluable tool for brain tumor segmentation. However, in clinical practice, certain modalities might be unavailable, leading to potential performance degradation in prediction tasks. According to current implementations, different modalities are treated as independent entities during the feature extraction phase, ignoring their inherent complementary nature. In this paper, inspired by knowledge distillation techniques, we introduce the Fusion-Inspired Modality Distillation (FIMD) framework. FIMD leverages the output from a fused multi-modal model as a teacher to guide the training of individual modalities. Each modality benefits from the collective knowledge of all modalities, enhancing its performance. Our FIMD method, devoid of specific architectural constraints, seamlessly integrates into existing multi-modal brain tumor segmentation frameworks. Notably, extensive experiments on BraTS2020, BraTS2018, and BraTS2015 datasets indicate that FIMD can enhance the performance of current state-of-the-art (SOTA) algorithms on Dice by an average of 0.55-1.60%. Especially in the case of missing modalities, the effectiveness of the FIMD framework in enhancing the robustness and accuracy of brain tumor segmentation is demonstrated. © 2024 ACM.

In the continuously evolving context of urbanization, more people flock to cities for job opportunities and an improved quality of life, resulting in undeniable pressure on transportation networks. This leads to severe daily commuting challenges for residents. To mitigate this urban traffic pressure, most cities have adopted urban dockless bicycle sharing systems (UDBSS) as an effective measure. However, making accurate decisions regarding UDBSS demand in different city locations is crucial, as incorrect choices can worsen transportation problems, causing difficulties in finding bicycles or excessive deployments leading to disorderly accumulation. To address this decision-making challenge, it is essential to consider uncertain factors like daily weather, temperature, and workdays. To tackle this effectively, we construct an adjustable multi-granularity (MG) complex intuitionistic fuzzy (CIF) information system using complex intuitionistic fuzzy sets (CIFSs). This system objectively determines classification thresholds using an evaluation-based three-way decision (TWD) method, creating adjustable MG CIF probabilistic rough sets (PRSs). Additionally, to recognize the irrationality of decision-makers (DMs), we propose a method that combines prospect theory (PT) with regret theory (RT), providing a more comprehensive understanding of the influence of DMs' psychological factors on decision outcomes. Building upon these foundations, we present static rebalancing strategies for UDBSS based on MG PRSs and prospect-regret theory (P-RT) within the CIF information system. Finally, using UDBSS data collected from various sensors, we conduct experimental analysis to verify its feasibility and stability. In summary, this approach considers residents’ daily usage preferences, including bicycles utilization and return, with the aim of minimizing unmet resident demands and predicting usage patterns for the next day. Coherence evaluation aims to assess the organization and structure of a discourse, which remains challenging even in the era of large language models. Due to the scarcity of annotated data, data augmentation is commonly used for training coherence evaluation models. However, previous augmentations for this task primarily rely on heuristic rules, lacking designing criteria as guidance. In this paper, we take inspiration from linguistic theory of discourse structure, and propose a data augmentation framework named COUDA. COUDA breaks down discourse coherence into global and local aspects, and designs augmentation strategies for both aspects, respectively. Especially for local coherence, we propose a novel generative strategy for constructing augmentation samples, which involves post-pretraining a generative model and applying two controlling mechanisms to control the difficulty of generated samples. During inference, COUDA also jointly evaluates both global and local aspects to comprehensively assess the overall coherence of a discourse. Extensive experiments in coherence evaluation show that, with only 233M parameters, COUDA achieves state-ofthe-art performance in both pointwise scoring and pairwise ranking tasks, even surpassing recent GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 based metrics. © 2024 Association for Computational Linguistics.

With the evolution of telemedicine, clean images, especially facial images, are crucial in areas such as symptom evaluation and cosmetic medicine. However, dealing with indiscernible facial images, a condition known as blind degradation, poses a formidable challenge for existing blind face restoration (BFR) techniques due to their inherently ill-posed nature. Thus, a delicate interaction between preserving local details and maintaining global geometries is desired. Despite advances in convolutional neural networks (CNNs), transformers, and denoising diffusion, where no matter serried convolutions, elaborately-designed self-attentions, or stochastic noises, tend to isolate either local or non-local features. To this end, a new candidate model termed Multi-Scale in Multi-Scale Mamba (M2Mamba) is proposed, which builds on a pioneering structured state space model-based network and includes three new components: multi-scale learned fusion module (MSLFM), multi-scale attention fusion module (MSAFM), and multi-scale inspired Mamba (MS-Mamba). Firstly, the MSLFM is adopted by extracting image-level global guidance from inputs of different scales, preserving intuitive perception yet enriching semantic understanding. Secondly, the MSAFM dynamically integrates features from various encoder stages. Thirdly, the MS-Mamba employs separate branches for both small- and large-scale receptive fields, benefiting modeling of long-range dependencies. In the final, M2Mamba is demonstrated on both synthetic and realistic benchmarks, showing comparable or better performance than state-of-the-art methods. Autonomous vehicles play a vital role in improving traffic efficiency and reducing traffic accidents. The spatio-temporal data in driving scenarios is complex and unpredictable, with uncertain interaction behavior. Despite efforts by developers to model road dynamics for evaluating Autonomous Driving Systems (ADS), safety concerns under accidental and catastrophic road conditions have been overlooked. Firstly, to tackle this, this paper proposes extending feature variables for catastrophic scenarios using Domain-Specific Modeling Language (DSML). Introducing the Accidental and Catastrophic Automatic Driving Scenario Modeling Language (AC-ADSML) aims to accurately model ADS behavior in accidental and catastrophic road conditions. The AC-ADSML meta-model categorizes scenario variables and specifies abstract and concrete syntax along with operational semantics. Secondly, it is then transformed into Networks of Stochastic Hybrid Automata (NSHA) following ATL rules. The CARLA simulator is employed to replicate urban driving scenarios during natural disasters with PCTL scenario specifications. Model security can be verified using UPP AAL-SMC. Finally, an autonomous vehicle with adaptive cruise control is used as an example to verify the safety of the proposed model under different road condition parameters. © 2024 IEEE.
