The performance of network equipments, such as firewall, router, etc., is decided by the efficiency of patch matching. It is difficult to adapt the speed of packet matching with packets linear forwarding by traditional algorithms. The purpose of this paper is to develop a novel algorithm of packet matching based on improving differential evolutionary algorithm, which also combines with classic packets matching algorithms to improve the performance of algorithm. For the sake of objectivity, the statistics method was used to compute the fitting value. Experiments showed that this new algorithm effectively improved the performance in the speed and storage space, as compared with the traditional one. For the first time, evolutionary algorithm is used to solve the network data packet forwarding, and packets can be forwarded at the linear speed. In addition, this new algorithm is universal, so it can be adapted for many equipment.

Answer Set Programming (ASP) is widely used in many areas of Artificial Intelligence. A parallel answer set solving algorithm based on multi-core processor technology is proposed in this paper. The parallel algorithm is designed on the shared-memory parallel computing model which is the -abs model of multi-core processor. The algorithm can distribute the whole solving task to several threads separately run on different cores of the multi-core processor. To make this parallel algorithm more efficient, we implement load balancing among different threads by the technique of shared global queue. The experimental results show that the parallel algorithm can improve the solving efficiency by times with the growth of processor cores.

To explore the association relations among disease, pathogenesis, physician, symptoms and drug, we adapt a variational Apriori algorithm for discovering association rules on a dataset of the Qing Court Medical Records. There are five types of semantic associations we intend to discover, including Disease-Pathogenesis-Drug set(DPaD), Disease-Symptoms-Drug set (DSyD), Disease-Drug set (DD), Disease-Physician-Drug set (DPhD) and Disease-Drug Category Set (DDC). To solve the synonymity problem and the data sparseness problem, we give a mapping strategy which maps pathogenesis to standardized forms and maps drugs to drug categories. With the mapping strategy the number of frequent drug sets rises from 287 to 1184. The experimental results indicate that our method with the mapping strategy is an effective way to acquire valuable semantic association rules.

This paper introduces a novel approach used in wind velocity measurement based on LMFCW radar. Based on analysis of waveform of LFMCW radar, the theory of distance measurement and velocity measurement is illustrated. As for a single scattering point and multiple scattering points, we have executed simulation. The results show that wind velocity can be derived from LFMCW radar echo signal. Its detection range is 3km and velocity precision is 0.1m/*** can be widely used in the fields of meteorology, environmental protection, defense, airports and so on.

The paradigm is interpreted based on answer set semantics. We introduce two semantics to optimize answer sets of the programs. Then, we present the properties of those semantics by investigating their order characterization. Video-on-Demand (VoD), which is an important application in peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, attracts a lot of researchers' interest at present. Data scheduling is significant in P2P VoD applications to gain desirable user experience and better satisfaction. In unstructured mesh-based overlay, peers in the overlay learn about the chunks availability from neighbors using Buffer Map. The peer can only know the information of its neighbors and is not aware of other peers. So some peers (busy peer) could get a lot of requests and other peers(free peers) receive fewer requests. The busy peer usually ignores the surplus requests and the peers that send these ignored requests will request the chunk again after the timeout. At the same time, the free peers can't effectively utilize the upload bandwidth. In this paper, we propose a hybrid Push/Pull algorithm in P2P VoD. Simulation results shows that the average utilization of upload bandwidth and average playback quality may be improved efficiently.

A robust image watermarking scheme based on singular value decomposition (SVD) and discrete wavelet transform (DWT) with Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm is proposed in this paper. Previous SVD based watermarking algorithms have a major drawback of false positive detection. For solving this problem, the similarity measure of U matrix for ownership is checked. To achieve the highest possible robustness without losing the transparency, an adaptive scale factor is obtained by the artificial bee colony (ABC) algorithm. Experimental results demonstrate that the performance of the proposed approach outperforms the existing methods.
