A new energy landscape paving heuristic for satellite module layouts

This article describes a study of the satellite module layout problem （SMLP）, which is a three-dimensional （3D） layout optimization problem with performance constraints that has proved to be non-deterministic polynomial-time hard （NP-hard）. To deal with this problem, we convert it into an unconstrained optimization problem using a quasi-physical strategy and the penalty function method. The energy landscape paving （ELP） method is a class of Monte-Carlo-based global optimization algorithm that has been successfully applied to solve many optimization problems. ELP can search for low-energy layouts via a random walk in complex energy landscapes. However, when ELP falls into the narrow and deep valleys of an energy landscape, it is difficult to escape. By putting forward a new update mechanism of the histogram function in ELP, we obtain an improved ELP method which can overcome this drawback. By incorporating the gradient method with local search into the improved ELP method, a new global search optimization method, hELP, is proposed for SMLP. Two representative instances from the literature are tested. Computational results show that the proposed hELP algorithm is an effective method for solving SMLP with performance constraints.

An improved spatial-based fuzzy logic event detecting algorithm for wireless sensor networks

At present, event detection technologies have become an important part in building efficient wireless sensor networks. One of the popular and excellent event detecting algorithms is the improved Neighbor-based Fuzzy Logic algorithm, namely INFLE, which belongs to machine learning technology. However, there may be some false positives when fire has not spread to the detected node. In this paper, we propose an improved spatial-based fuzzy logic event detection algorithm (ISFLE) to dramatically decrease the probability of false positives before fire has spread to the node. In our proposed ISFLE, we put “Distance” variable to the fuzzy logic system to determine node’s final state. The simulation results validate that our proposed ISFLE outperforms traditional INFLE in decreasing the number of false positives. © 2015 SERSC.

In order to improve the anti-noise performance of quantum teleportation,this paper proposes a novel dynamic quantum anti-noise scheme based on the quantum teleportation which transmits single qubit state using Bell *** that quantum noise only acts on the transmitted qubit,i.e.,the entangled state that Alice and Bob share in advance is affected by the noise,thus affecting the final transmission *** this paper,a method for dynamically adjusting the shared entangled state according to the noise environment is *** calculating the maximum fidelity of the output state to determine the shared entangled state,which makes the quantum teleportation be affected by the noise as little as *** paper calculates the fidelity of teleportation under four kinds of channel noise(amplitude damping,phase damping,bit flip and depolarizing noise).The results show that the scheme has a suppression effect on phase damping,bit flip and depolarizing noise under certain *** the noise intensity is larger,the optimized efficiency is better.

Quantum relief algorithm

Relief algorithm is a feature selection algorithm used in binary classification proposed by Kira and Rendell, and its computational complexity remarkable increases with both the scale of samples and the number of features. In order to reduce the complexity, a quantum feature selection algorithm based on Relief algorithm, also called quantum Relief algorithm, is proposed. In the algorithm, all features of each sample are superposed by a certain quantum state through the CMP and rotation operations, then the swap test and measurement are applied on this state to get the similarity between two samples. After that, Near-hit and Near-miss are obtained by calculating the maximal similarity, and further applied to update the feature weight vector W T to get W T ′ that determine the relevant features with the threshold τ. In order to verify our algorithm, a simulation experiment based on IBM Q with a simple example is performed. Efficiency analysis shows the computational complexity of our proposed algorithm is O(M), while the complexity of the original Relief algorithm is O(NM), where N is the number of features for each sample, and M is the size of the sample set. Obviously, our quantum Relief algorithm has superior acceleration than the classical one. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. All rights reserved.

With the rapid development of the Internet, getting shared resource on the network is becoming more easy, and various plagiarize is becoming to breed, so the research of text copy detection technology is becoming more important. The traditional copy detection technology is based on term frequency statistics, and does not consider the context semantic. Some plagiarism can be easily made by replacing synonyms, changing the sentence structure, or translating from one language to another language. But the traditional copy detection technology could not detect such plagiarism. In this paper, a text copy detection method based on semantic is proposed. By using an improved TFIDF algorithm, terms could be more accurately extracted from each document in the corpus. By putting the documents corresponding to the terms one by one, a terms category is built in the database. When a document is detecting, the terms are read from the database and matched. The testing results show that, compared to the traditional TFIDF algorithm, the improved method could more accurately detect the plagiarism.

Security analysis of delegable and proxy provable data possession in public cloud storage

Cloud storage is now an important development trend in information technology. However, information security has become an important problem to impede it for commercial application, such as data con-fidentiality, integrity, and availability. In this paper, we revisit the two private PDP schemes. We show that the property of correctness cannot be achieved when active adversaries are involved in these auditing systems. More specifically, an active adversary can arbitrarily tamper the cloud data and produce a valid auditing. Moreover, the malicious CSS can put the auditing right to entrust to anyone and control the delegation key and lead to the failure of the subsequent validation work. Finally, we propose a solution using key agreement to resolve the weakness. Our scheme is high efficiency due to removing expensive bilinear computing. Moreover, the verifier is stateless and independent from cloud storage server, which is an important secure property in PDP schemes.

Suppose a practical scene that when two or more parties want to schedule anappointment, they need to share their calendars with each other in order to make itpossible. According to the present result the whole communication cost to solve thisproblem should be their calendars’ length by using a classical algorithm. In this work, weinvestigate the appointment schedule issue made by N users and try to accomplish it inquantum information case. Our study shows that the total communication cost will bequadratic times smaller than the conventional case if we apply a quantum algorithm in theappointment-scheduling problem.

Multi-user detection is one of the important technical problems for moderncommunications. In the field of quantum communication, the multi-access channel onwhich we apply the technology of quantum information processing is still an openquestion. In this work, we investigate the multi-user detection problem based on thebinary coherent-state signals whose communication way is supposed to be seen as aquantum channel. A binary phase shift keying model of this multi-access channel isstudied and a novel method of quantum detection proposed according to the conclusionof the quantum measurement theory. As a result, the average interference betweendeferent users is presented and the average error probability of the quantum detection isderived theoretically. Finally, we show the maximum channel capacity of this effectivedetection for a two-access quantum channel.

A Robust Document Image Watermarking Scheme using Deep Neural network

Watermarking is an important copyright protection technology which generally embeds the identity information into the carrier imperceptibly. Then the identity can be extracted to prove the copyright from the watermarked carrier even after suffering various attacks. Most of the existing watermarking technologies take the nature images as carriers. Different from the natural images, document images are not so rich in color and texture, and thus have less redundant information to carry watermarks. This paper proposes an end-to-end document image watermarking scheme using the deep neural network. Specifically, an encoder and a decoder are designed to embed and extract the watermark. A noise layer is added to simulate the various attacks that could be encountered in reality, such as the Cropout, Dropout, Gaussian blur, Gaussian noise, Resize, and JPEG Compression. A text-sensitive loss function is designed to limit the embedding modification on characters. An embedding strength adjustment strategy is proposed to improve the quality of watermarked image with little loss of extraction accuracy. Experimental results show that the proposed document image watermarking technology outperforms three state-of-the-arts in terms of the robustness and image quality. Copyright © 2022, The Authors.
