In the optical frequency level communication, quantum effect becomes the source of significant communication errors. One alternative to classical detection is orthogonal projection measurement. In this paper, based on the coherent state’s quantum measurement and discrimination, the quantum optimal detection of binary coherent state signal in the presence of thermal noise was studied. Our numerical results showed the error probabilities of quantum detection under the OOK and BPSK modulation, and verified the performance of these two modulation methods in the thermal noise field background. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The maximum clique (MC) problem holds significance in network analysis. Quantum-based algorithms have recently emerged as promising approaches for this problem. However, these algorithms heavily depend on parameters of quantum system and vary significantly for different graphs. In order to tackle this issue, we initially demonstrate that continuous-time quantum walks (CTQW) driven by the Seidel matrix offer valuable insights into the clique structure of graphs, outperforming the CTQW driven by adjacency matrix. Specifically, we conduct an in-depth analysis for CTQW of 4 types of graphs, meticulously calculating the amplitudes associated with different vertices. Our findings consistently reveal that vertices belonging to MC exhibit the highest intensity at the largest frequency component of the probability amplitude for these types of graphs. Considering the varying intensities, we propose a parameter-independent algorithm for determining the MC. We compare our algorithm with a typical quantum-based algorithm, the results indicate that our algorithm exhibits greater stability. © 2024 The Authors

Content based image retrieval(CBIR)techniques have been widely deployed in many applications for seeking the abundant information existed in *** to large amounts of storage and computational requirements of CBIR,outsourcing image search work to the cloud provider becomes a very attractive option for many owners with small ***,owing to the private content contained in images,directly outsourcing retrieval work to the cloud provider apparently bring about privacy problem,so the images should be protected carefully before *** paper presents a secure retrieval scheme for the encrypted images in the YUV color *** this scheme,the discrete cosine transform(DCT)is performed on the Y *** resulting DC coefficients are encrypted with stream cipher technology and the resulting AC coefficients as well as other two color components are encrypted with value permutation and position *** the image owner transmits the encrypted images to the cloud *** receiving a query trapdoor form on query user,the server extracts AC-coefficients histogram from the encrypted Y component and extracts two color histograms from the other two color *** similarity between query trapdoor and database image is measured by calculating the Manhattan distance of their respective ***,the encrypted images closest to the query image are returned to the query user.

Recently,a reversible image transformation(RIT)technology that transforms a secret image to a freely-selected target image is *** not only can generate a stego-image that looks similar to the target image,but also can recover the secret image without any *** also has been proved to be very useful in image content protection and reversible data hiding in encrypted ***,the standard deviation(SD)is selected as the only feature during the matching of the secret and target image blocks in RIT methods,the matching result is not so good and needs to be further improved since the distributions of SDs of the two images may be not very ***,this paper proposes a Gray level co-occurrence matrix(GLCM)based approach for reversible image transformation,in which,an effective feature extraction algorithm is utilized to increase the accuracy of blocks matching for improving the visual quality of transformed image,while the auxiliary information,which is utilized to record the transformation parameters,is not ***,the visual quality of the stego-image should be *** results also show that the root mean square of stego-image can be reduced by 4.24%compared with the previous method.

Flexible tissue modeling plays an important role in the field of telemedicine. It is related to whether the soft tissue deformation process can be accurately, real-time and vividly simulated during surgery. Most existing models lack the unique biological characteristics. To enhance visual perception ability, a high-fidelity virtual liver model incorporating biological characteristics, such as the viscoelastic, anisotropic and nonlinear biological characteristics, is proposed based on the finite element model with the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method. When simulating the resection of diseased livers, the model undergoes a plastic deformation process where the model loses elasticity due to excessive deformation, but does not reach the cutting fracture threshold. To improve the fidelity of the liver model, this study is the first to introduce the viscoplasticity of biological tissues to the liver model. The 3DMax2020 and OpenGL4.6 were used to build a liver surgery simulation platform, and the PHANTOM OMNI manual controller was used to sense the feedback force during the operation. The proposed model was verified from three aspects of accuracy, fidelity and real-time performance. The experimental results show that the proposed virtual liver model can achieve real visual reproduction, with natural deformation effect, accurate simulation and high fidelity. © 2022, The Authors. In the field of quantum communication,quantum steganography is an important branch of quantum information *** a realistic quantum communication system,quantum noises are unavoidable and will seriously impact the safety and reliability of the quantum steganographic ***,it is very important to analyze the influence of noise on the quantum steganography protocol and how to reduce the effect of *** paper takes the quantum steganography protocol proposed in 2010 as an example to analyze the effects of noises on information qubits and secret message qubits in the four primary quantum noise *** results show that when the noise factor of one quantum channel noise is known,the size of the noise factor of the other quantum channel can be adjusted accordingly,such as artificially applying noise,so that the influence of noises on the protocol is *** addition,this paper also proposes a method of improving the efficiency of the steganographic protocol in a noisy environment.

Collaborative filtering algorithm is widely used in the recommendation system of e-commerce website, which is based on the analysis of a large number of users' historical behaviour data, so as to explore the users' interest and recommend the appropriate products to users. In this paper, we focus on how to design a reliable and highly accurate algorithm for movie recommendation. It is worth noting that the algorithm is not limited to film recommendation, but can be applied in many other areas of e-commerce. In this paper, we use Java language to implement a movie recommendation system in Ubuntu system. Benefiting from the MapReduce framework and the recommendation algorithm based on items, the system can handle large datasets. The experimental results show that the system can achieve high efficiency and reliability in large datasets. © 2020 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

Transfer alignment is used to initialize SINS(Strapdown Inertial Navigation System)in ***-arm effect compensation is studied existing in an AUV(Autonomous Underwater Vehicle)before launched from the mother *** AUV is equipped with SINS,Doppler Velocity Log,depth sensor and other navigation *** lever arm will cause large error on the transfer alignment between master inertial navigation system and slave inertial navigation system,especially in big ship *** paper presents a novel method that can effectively estimate and compensate the flexural lever arm between the main inertial navigation system mounted on the mother ship and the slave inertial navigation system equipped on the *** nonlinear measurement equation of angular rate is derived based on three successive rotations of the body frame of the master inertial navigation *** filter is utilized as the nonlinear estimator for its capability of non-linear *** analysis was conducted on the SINS state vector based on singular value decomposition *** equation of SINS was adopted as the system state *** experiments were conducted and results showed that the proposed method can estimate the flexural lever arm more accurately,the precision of transfer alignment was improved and alignment time was shortened accordingly.

Image steganography aims to conceal the secret information inside another carrier image. And by embedding the information into the carrier image, the carrier image may suffer certain image distortion. Thus, not only the hiding algorithm should be carefully designed, but also the carrier image should be meticulously selected during the hiding process. This paper follows the idea of creating suitable cover images instead of selecting the ones by presenting a unified architecture which combines real-time object detection based on convolutional neural network, local style transfer using generative adversarial network and steganography together to realize real-time carrier image generation. The object in the carrier image is first detected using a fast object detector and then the detected area is reconstructed through a local generative network. The secret message is embedded into the intermediate generated images during the training process in order to generate an image which is suitable as an image carrier. The experimental results show that the reconstructed stego images are nearly indistinguishable to both human eyes and steganalysis tools. Furthermore, the whole carrier image generation process with GPU implementation can achieve around 5 times faster than the regular CPU implementation which meets the requirement of real-time image processing. © 2020, Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.
