Prescribed-time leader-following consensus problem of multi-agent systems with actuator saturation is considered in this paper. With the proposed protocol, the convergence time can be assigned off-line, and actuator saturation problem is solved. A prescribed-time disturbance and actuator faults observer is designed to estimate the disturbance and actuator faults. At last, numerical simulations show the efficiency of the observer and controller. © 2021 Chinese Automatic Control Society and John Wiley & Sons Australia, Ltd.

In this study, an adaptive tracking control scheme is developed for interconnected nonlinear time delay systems with asymmetric full state dynamic constraints and unmodeled dynamics by using dynamic surface control(DSC) technique. Firstly, the unstructured uncertainty functions are approximated by using neural network functions(NNS), the unknown output time delay functions are addressed by Lyapunov-Krasovskii functions, the unmodeled dynamic problem is solved by a dynamic signal. Secondly, a state dependent nonlinear functions are constructed to address the asymmetric full state dynamic constraints. To simplify the calculation, an adaptive tracking control strategy is developed base on DSC technique, it could guarantee that the systems states are constrained in the bounds imposed dynamically and the output signal has good tracking effect. Finally, a simulation example is given to show the effectiveness of the developed scheme. © 2021 IEEE.

This paper addresses the decentralized adaptive tracking control problem of a class of interconnected nonlinear time-delay systems, which suffered from input saturation and unknown nonlinearity. To estimate the unknown nonlinearity in interconnected nonlinear time-delay systems, a learning algorithm called extreme learning machine (ELM) is introduced. The existence of input saturation have a negative impact on the considered systems. To eliminate it, an auxiliary system is constructed in this paper, and Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is utilized to cope with state time-varying delay. By utilizing dynamic surface control (DSC) technology, an ELM-based decentralized adaptive tracking control strategy is developed. It is proven that the closed loop system is stable via Lyapunov theory and the tracking error of each subsystem will converge to a small neighbourhood near the origin. Finally, a chemical reactor example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. © 2021 IEEE.

Different from traditional vehicles, the routing problem of electric vehicles (EVs) is closely coupled with their charging. Hence, operating EV requires a joint optimization of both routing and charging. Moreover, the travel time and energy consumption uncertainties also bring challenges to the EV operation in practice. In this paper, we study the routing and charging problem of EVs under the chance constrained optimization framework, where uncertainties are tackled with probabilistic constraints. An iterative algorithm is proposed, which transforms the original challenging mixed-integer nonlinear program into the iteration of two linear programs. The finite convergence of this algorithm is also proved. Numerical results show that our proposed algorithm can achieve near-optimal solutions in rather short computation times. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, the consensus control against attacks for a type of nonlinear multi-agent switched systems under arbitrary switching is studied. The attacks corrupt the information data, which cannot be used for the feedback design. Meanwhile, the switching logic is not allowed to be designed. To tackle the complicated effects, some intermediate variables and adaptive laws are introduced to compensate the uncertainties. By constructing a common Lyapunov function, an adaptive protocol is proposed such that the outputs of the agents achieve consensus against attacks under arbitrary switching. © 2022 IEEE.

Facial image restoration has gained a tremendous progress since the increasing boom of the deep learning methods. Owing to its nature of strong ill-posedness, different categories of a-priori constraints have been harnessed or embedded in the existing deep architectures. While, as it turns to blind face restoration with more complicated degradations, the challenge becomes greater. In this paper, a further insightful step is taken by exploring the potentials of the graph convolutional networks (GCN) in conjunction with the structured priors for the blind problem. Specifically, a lightweight yet physically more intuitive model termed FaceGCN is proposed. On the one hand, a dynamic generator of facial adjacency matrices is constructed assisted by two self-supervised losses, allowing a sparse, accurate, and adaptive construction of case-specific face graphs with facial feature components as nodes. On the other hand, to model well the joint local-nonlocal correlations among various facial feature components, a kind of novel strip-attention GCN modules is correspondingly developed by splitting facial feature maps into intra- and inter-strips in both horizontal and vertical orientations, respectively. Extensive experimental results show that FaceGCN has achieved comparable or even superior performance to state-of-the-art methods, yet at a considerably less computational cost. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

The spatial resolution of imagery is a critical factor influencing the accuracy of crop type mapping at the plot level. The lack of synchronous multi-scale imagery has led to uncertainty regarding the optimal spatial resolution for crop type mapping. This study develops a systematic framework integrating UAV remote sensing, resampling techniques, and multi-algorithm validation to determine context-specific spatial resolutions for fragmented agricultural regions, using China’s Hetao Irrigation District (HID) as a case study. High-resolution UAV imagery was resampled to generate multi-scale datasets, enabling quantitative analysis of resolution impacts on plot boundary deformation and intra-plot texture representation. Bilinear interpolation emerged as the most effective resampling method, achieving PSNR values of 26.91 dB (1 m) and 23.19 dB (10 m). Resolution thresholds for preserving crop-specific textures were established: wheat required ≥ 2.5 m, whereas maize, sunflower, and squash necessitated ≥ 5 m. Plot deformation analysis revealed resolutions of 2 m, 5 m, and 10 m as optimal for plots with shortest dimensions of 10 m, 25 m, and 50 m, respectively. Algorithm compatibility tests demonstrated deep learning models (e.g. DeepLabV3+ with mIoU: 88.51%) significantly outperformed traditional methods like Random Forest (mIoU: 66.17%), particularly for crops with high intra-plot heterogeneity. This framework provides actionable guidelines for balancing texture fidelity, geometric accuracy, and algorithmic performance in fragmented landscapes, addressing a critical gap in precision agriculture. © 2025 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

In this paper,high order observer(HOO) and integral sliding mode controller(ISMC) are studied in the system of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) with the uncertainty *** system is divided into two loops:current loop and speed loop for ISMC and *** can get the estimated value of external interference and the uncertain parameters' *** estimated value got from HOO will also be accurate because of the high-order characteristic of *** with the estimated disturbance has better robust and *** simulations prove the effectiveness of the ISMC and HOO.
