Rare earth elements(REEs)as nonessential trace elements are enriched in living organisms and threaten their *** early detect and reduce REE enrichment in living organisms,scientists are focused on clarifying the enrichment process of REEs in living organisms and its ***,the enrichment process of REEs in edible plant cells has remained ***,by using interdisciplinary methods and techniques,the enrichment process of lanthanum(La(Ⅲ))in the leaf cells of lettuce(Lactuca sativa L.)was investigated.(1)When La(Ⅲ)exposure dose is 0.5-5μmol/L,La(Ⅲ)is enriched outside the plasma membrane(PM).In this zone,La(Ⅲ)is bound to vitronectin-like protein(VN)to form La-VN complexes;(2)When La(Ⅲ)exposure dose is 5-20μmol/L,besides the zone outside the PM,La(Ⅲ)is also enriched on the PM and bound to arabinogalactan proteins(AGPs)to form La-AGPs complexes;(3)When La(Ⅲ)exposure dose is 20-140μmol/L,besides the zone outside and on the PM,La(Ⅲ)is enriched inside the PM;(4)When La(Ⅲ)exposure dose is 60-140μmol/L,malondialdehyde content(an important indicator of invisible damage)significantly ***,as La(Ⅲ)exposure dose increases,La(Ⅲ)gradually migrates from outside the PM to the PM and inside the PM,enriching in these zones in *** enriched La(Ⅲ)will cause invisible damage to lettuce leaf cells and even enter human bodies along food *** results provide references for investigating the enrichment process of REEs in plants and its environmental risks,and finding strategies to early detect and reduce REE enrichment in plants.

This study mainly monitored the dominant bacterial populations and identified the spoilage-related microorganisms of braised chicken meat stored under different CO_(2)-modified atmosphere packaging(MAP)during refrigerated storage using a culture-dependent method and 16S rDNA *** quality changes and shelf life of the meat were also *** growth rate of total viable count(TVC)in braised chicken was slower with an increase of CO_(2) content in MAP,which also occurred in the remaining bacterial species monitored(lactic acid bacteria,Pseudomonas spp.,Brochothrix thermosphacta).The MAP exerted beneficial effects on the quality of braised chicken,as demonstrated by retarding the production of total volatile basic nitrogen(TVB-N)and delaying lipid oxidation(TBARS test).A total of 14 isolates were identified from braised chickens with different packaging at the end of storage,these included ***(6 isolates),***(2 isolates),Enterococcus faecalis(3 isolates),***(2 isolates),Staphylococcus equorum(1 isolate).

Dynamic DNA nanodevices have gained tremendous attention due to their extraordinary inherent functionality and advantages,however,dynamic DNA nanodevices-based biosensors are still challenging due to their high reliance on proteases and limited amplification ***,exploiting bispecific aptamer as initiators for the first time,we developed a three-dimensional(3D)DNA nanomotor biosensor powered by DNAzyme and entropy-driven circuit for sensitive and specific detection of lysozyme,in which walking and rolling strategies are efficiently integrated to achieve excellent signal amplification *** from the high selectivity of bispecific aptamer,the 3D DNA nanomotor biosensor can respond to lysozyme with high specificity and operate at high speed to release *** whole process is independent of protease,avoiding the influence of adverse environment on the operation *** optimal conditions,it can achieve a limit of detection as low as 0.01 pg/mL with an excellent linear range of 0.05 pg/mL–500 ng/mL for ***,the proposed strategy revealed high accuracy in the analysis of real samples,indicating a great potential for the application of nanomotor biosensors to the detection of non-nucleic acid targets.

High-quality quantum dots(QDs)possess superior electroluminescent efficiencies and ultra-narrow emission linewidths are essential for realizing ultra-high definition QD light-emitting diodes(QLEDs).However,the synthesis of such QDs remains *** this study,we present a facile high-temperature successive ion layer adsorption and reaction(HT-SILAR)strategy for the growth of precisely tailored Zn_(1-x)Cd_(x)Se/ZnSe shells,and the consequent production of high-quality,large-particle,alloyed red CdZnSe/Zn_(1-x)Cd_(x)Se/ZnSe/ZnS/CdZnS *** transitional Zn1 xCdxSe/ZnSe shells serve to effectively suppress heavy hole energy level splitting and weaken the exciton-longitudinal optical phonon coupling of QDs,thus facilitating the formation of highly luminescent QDs with a near-unity photoluminescence quantum yield of 97.8%and narrow emission with a full width at half maximum of 17.1 *** addition,the introduction of transitional shells can extend the particle size of QDs to 19.0 nm,which is beneficial for efficient carrier recombination and reduced Joule heating in QD-based *** a result,the fabricated QLEDs can achieve a record external quantum efficiency of 38.2%,luminance over 120,000 cd m^(-2),and exceptional operational stability T95(tested at 1,000 cd m^(-2))of 24,100 *** findings provide new ave-nues for synthesizing high-quality QDs with high color purity.

Aqueous Solution Purification with Different Precursors of Carbon Dots Dominated Titanium Dioxide: Mechanism Insight

Controlled deposition of co-catalysts on requisite surfaces is highly crucial for myriad applications related to photocatalysis, energy conversion, and sunlight response. Here, carbon dots (CDs)-doped TiO 2 (CDs/TNs), which possess high photocatalytic activity and wastewater purification ability, are synthesized using different precursors of CDs (citric acid: CA and ammonium citrate: AC) respectively. By simply replacing the precursor, the functional groups on the surface of CDs are obviously changed. And the photodegradation efficiency and capacity can be directly enhanced to acquire satisfied results towards the removal of organic pollutants. The prepared CA-CDs/TNs and AC-CDs/TNs are compared using different techniques, and the results are discussed in detail. Benefited from the powerful synergistic effects between the incorporated CDs and TNs, the two CDs/TNs show excellent photocatalytic ability for the degradation of three representative pollutants (Congo-red: CR, Rhodamine B: RhB, and Tetracycline: TC) compared to pure TNs. Specially, based on the obtained results, CA-CDs/TNs exhibit the highest degradation efficiency, having removed ~91.6% of CR, 90.2% of RhB and 96.1% of TC after 120min and 60min. Besides, aiming to access the wide degradation of CDs/TNs, the removal performance of other pollutants (Bright Green-BG and Azorubine-ZB) is performed. As expected, CDs activates TNs to remove BG (91.08% within 150min) and ZB (86.69% within 4h) more efficiently. The results demonstrate that CDs/TNs possess wide application for degrading different pollutants. Finally, the degradation fragments of the pollutants were detected by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, and feasible degradation pathways are discussed. © 2022, The Authors. Milk fat globules(MFG) are the primary source of energy and functional factor in dairy-based *** evaluate the suitability of commercial MFG substitutes for infant and adult consumers,the lipolysis properties and regulatory factors in digesting bovine,caprine,and human MFG were *** lipolysis kinetic models of bovine and caprine MFG are comparable,with bovine MFG displaying the highest degree of lipolysis(50.21%) during gastric digestion in infants,resulting in the production short-chain saturated fatty *** MFG has a high rate of lipolysis due to its weak phospholipid-glycoprotein layer,which is prominent in both infants' and adults' *** effects of consuming bovine and caprine MFG for adults are comparable in terms of lipolysis properties and nutritional value of fatty *** gastrointestinal digestion,human MFG has the highest digestibility(93.98%).The advantages of human MFG include its phospholipid structure,exogenous lipase,and lipolysis-regulating *** study provides recommendation for the selection of milk fat substitutes and improvements in commercial dairy.

Aiming to the enormous requirement for the epidemic defense researches,we designed and constructed a spherical colloidal virus particle(CVP)to mimic nature virus in morphology,physical,chemical and biological characteristics,via coating spiky protein on col-loidal nanoparticles(CNPs)core with bulge hierarchical *** novel virus-like surface nanoparticles can easily be *** physical,chemical nature and the formation mechanism of the prepared CVPs were characterized and *** synthesized CVPs are similar in size and envelope thickness to common natural *** was demonstrated that the diameter of CVPs is about 238±12 nm,including an 8 nm thickness protein crown with bulges of 33 nm in average *** CVPs with an isoelectric point of 4.5,meets the native virus property of negative charge under neutral *** protein crown enhances the roughness remarkably from 10 nm(CNPs)to 22 nm(CVPs)determined by atomic force *** to the biomimetic rough morphology,the CVPs show greatly superior cellular uptake performance compared to CNPs,ovalbumin(OVA)and smoothed col-loidal particles(SCPs).The formation mechanism of protein crown with specific thickness can be attributed to the electrostatic in-teraction,protein's flexible structure and specific *** results indicate that the as-prepared artificial virions mimic na-ture viruses in multi-dimension,in terms of size,surface rough morphology,surface negative charge and glycoprotein envelope *** synthetic colloidal virus particles pave a facile way toward engineering virus particles substitute for virus-related diseases prevention,diagnostics and cellular delivery vectors.
