Research of secure intranet/internet access platform based on ontology

Faced with the general trend of centralization of information, the biggest challenge to enterprise is how to ensure that all fixed computers and different mobile devices anywhere can access securely and quickly enterprise's businesses. To solve this problem, an Ontology-based Secure intranet/Internet Access Platform (OSAP) is presented. Ontology has been applied to the field of software resources sharing. Software resource ontology is defined for building the foundation of Software Resource Ontology Sharing Model (SROSM) and the OSAP. The OSAP framework is presented by semantic modeling based on SROSM for providing users with better and higher QOS in sharing software resources. The OSAP is designed with OSAP Portal, Connection Module, Session Management Module, Security Module, RDP Module, and Bitmap Caching Module. The design ideas and functionalities of all modules are introduced. Based on the open Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), the OSAP prototype is realized and key technologies including client display, data compression and security are described. To guarantee data transmission security and avoid access problem due to the firewall obstructing port 3389, the SSL protocol is employed to encapsulate RDP data packages between clients and OSAP as the RDP is used between OSAP and Terminal Services servers. Experimental results demonstrate that the OSAP has better performance involving response time, network usage, RAM usage and CPU usage. © 2009 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

On a generalization of cubic spline interpolation

Based on analysis of basic cubic spline interpolation, the clamped cubic spline interpolation is generalized in this paper. The methods are presented on the condition that the first derivative and second derivative of arbitrary node are given. The Clamped spline and Curvature-adjusted cubic spline are also generalized. The methods are presented on the condition that the first derivatives of arbitrary two nodes or second derivatives of arbitrary two node are given. At last, these calculation methods are illustrated through examples. © 2011 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

Differentiation and numerical integral of the cubic spline interpolation

Based on analysis of cubic spline interpolation, the differentiation formulas of the cubic spline interpolation on the three boundary conditions are put up forward in this paper. At last, this calculation method is illustrated through an example. The numerical results show that the spline numerical differentiations are quite effective for estimating first and higher derivatives of equally and unequally spaced data. The formulas based on cubic spline interpolation solving numerical integral of discrete function are deduced. The degree of integral formula is n=3. The formulas has high accuracy. At last, these calculation methods are illustrated through examples. © 2011 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

Road traffic freight volume forecast using support vector machine combining forecasting

The grey system forecasting model, neural network forecasting model and support vector machine forecasting model are proposed in this paper. Taking the road goods traffic volume from year of 1996 to 2003 in the whole country as a study case, the forecasting results are got by three methods. From the forecasting results, we can conclude that the accuracy of the support vector machine forecasting method is higher. Analyzing the characteristic of combining forecasting method, based on grey system forecasting model, neural network forecasting model and support vector machine forecasting model, the linear combining forecasting model, neural network combining forecasting model and support vector machine combining forecasting model are set up. Compared with single prediction methods, linear combining forecasting method and neural network combining forecasting model, the accuracy of the support vector machine combining forecasting method is higher. © 2011 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

A novel ant colony genetic hybrid algorithm

By use of the properties of ant colony algorithm and genetic algorithm, a novel ant colony genetic hybrid algorithm, whose framework of hybrid algorithm is genetic algorithm, is proposed to solve the traveling salesman problems. The selection operator is an artificial version of natural selection, and chromosomes with better length of tour have higher probabilities of being selected in the next generation. Based on the properties of pheromone in ant colony algorithm the ant colony crossover operation is given. Four mutation strategies are put forward using the characteristic of traveling salesman problems. The hybrid algorithm with 2-opt local search can effectively find better minimum beyond premature convergence. Ants choose several tours based on trail, and these tours will replace the worse solution. Compare with the simulated annealing algorithm, the standard genetic algorithm and the standard ant colony algorithm, all the 4 hybrid algorithms are proved effective. Especially the hybrid algorithm with strategy D is a simple and effective better algorithm than others. © 2010 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

Event anaphora resolution plays an important role in discourse analysis. In comparison with general noun phrases, pronouns carry little information of themselves, resolving the event pronouns is a more difficult task. This paper proposes a machine learning-based framework for event pronoun resolution. All kinds of features, including both flat and structural features, are explored for event pronoun resolution. Experiments on OntoNotes corpus show that both flat and structural features are very effective for this task. © 2011 IEEE.

This paper proposes a new approach to dynamically determine the tree span for tree kernel-based semantic relation extraction. It exploits constituent dependencies to keep the nodes and their head children along the path connecting the two entities, while removing the noisy information from the syntactic parse tree, eventually leading to a dynamic syntactic parse tree. This paper also explores entity features and their combined features in a unified parse and semantic tree, which integrates both structured syntactic parse information and entity-related semantic information. Evaluation on the ACE RDC 2004 corpus shows that our dynamic syntactic parse tree outperforms all previous tree spans, and the composite kernel combining this tree kernel with a linear state-of-the-art feature-based kernel, achieves the so far best performance. © 2008. Coreference resolution is an important subtask in natural language processing systems. The process of it is to find whether two expressions in natural language refer to the same entity in the world. Machine learning approaches to this problem have been reasonably successful, operating primarily by recasting the problem as a classification task. A great deal of research has been done on this task in English, using approaches ranging from those based on linguistics to those based on machine learning. In Chinese, however, much less work has been done in this area. The lack of public resources is a big problem in the research of Chinese NLP. The other problem is that some features are more difficult to get than those features of English. In this paper, We present a noun phrase coreference system that refers to the work of Soon et al. (2001). We also explore the impact of various features on our system's performance. Experiments on the Chinese portion of OntoNotes 3.0 show that the platform achieves a good performance. © 2011 IEEE.

In reality, different persons often have the same person name. The Person Cross Document Co-reference Resolution is a task, which requires that all and only the textual mentions of an entity of type Person be individuated in a collection of text documents. In this paper, we implement a Chinese Person Name Cross Document Co-reference Resolution System. First, we utilize name identification module to recognize all person names of the texts, and then classify the document collection of same person name by rules preliminarily, and at last, we compute similarities of each classification based on VSM, according to the prior similarities, the system get the final classification results. We test the system on 30 usual Chinese names of the corpus provided by CLP, and average F measure is 85.9%. © 2011 IEEE.

Load Balanced Coding Aware Multipath Routing for Wireless Mesh Networks

The growth of network coding opportunities is considered the unique optimization goal by most current network coding based routing algorithms for wireless mesh networks. This usually results in flows aggregation problem in areas with coding opportunities, and degrades the network performance. This paper proposes a Load balanced coding aware multipath routing(LCMR)for wireless mesh networks. To facilitate the evaluation of discovered multiple paths and the tradeoffs between coding opportunity and load balancing, a novel routing metric, Load balanced coding aware routing metric(LCRM) is presented, which considers the load degree of nodes when detects coding opportunities. LCMR could spread traffic over multipath to further balance load. Simulation results demonstrate that LCMR could evenly spread the traffic over the network with increasing network throughput in a heavy load at the expense of some coding opportunities.
