In this paper, we introduce and experimentally demonstrate a fault detection method for the air conditioner in the EMU train, which usually generates abnormal sounds when the faults occur. The technique utilizes the Support Vector Machine (SVM) to recognize the time-frequency characteristics of the sound generated by the air conditioner, which is extracted using the short-time Fourier transform (STFT). In addition, a detection system is built for the experiment, in which an FPGA and an embedded system are employed for sound acquisition and acoustic signal process, respectively. The penalty factor of the SVM model is optimized and accuracy of 0.977 is achieved. Our method will improve the efficiency and accuracy of fault detection for the air conditioner in the EMU train. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to solve the problem of complicated Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines(NURBS)modeling and improve the real-time performance of the high-order derivative of the curve interpolation process,the method of NURBS modeling based on the slicing and layering of triangular mesh is *** research and design of NURBS curve interpolation are carried out from the two aspects of software algorithm and hardware *** on the analysis of the characteristics of traditional computing methods with Taylor series expansion,the Adams formula and the Runge-Kutta formula are used in the NURBS curve interpolation process,and the process is then optimized according to the characteristics of NURBS *** can ensure accuracy,and avoid the calculation of higher-order ***,the hardware modules for the Adams and Runge-Kutta formulas are designed by using the parallel hardware construction technology of Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)*** parallel computing process using FPGA is compared with the traditional serial computing process using *** and experimental results show that this scheme can improve the computational speed of the system and that the algorithm is feasible.

A compound control method based on predictive functional control and repetitive sliding mode observer is proposed for the linear motor servo system,which has the characteristics of nonlinear,repetitive motion and model ***,the mathematical model of the linear motor system is ***,the repetitive sliding mode observer is used to compensate for the external disturbances,and the disturbance information is fed back to the predictive functional controller,and a predictive model with disturbances is established,so as to optimize the control method and improve the control effect of the servo *** simulation results show that the controller based on the repetitive sliding mode observer and predictive functional controller can effectively suppress the disturbances and improve the rapid response and steady-state accuracy of the *** the controller shows strong robustness and anti-disturbance,it can be used to effectively control the servo system.

The thought of designing CMAC (Cerebellar Model Articulation controller) hardware control chip which bases on software hardening technology is put forward according to the working theories and inner structure characteristics of CMAC neural network. The method of software hardening based on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) is discussed in detail. The corresponding simulation waveforms are given. The CMAC compound control strategy used in PMSLM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Linear Motor) is designed. As the test object, IC22-050A2P1 PMLSM made by Kollmorgen is used in the actual application of hardening CMAC control chip to verify the correctness of the program. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

A non-contact 3D data acquisition system based on fringe encoded light is analyzed. In this paper, the characteristics of encoding light structure based on space-time domain are studied, and the encoding combination with fringe boundary features is designed. This paper discusses the hierarchical reconstruction technology based on the three levels of projective radiation metric, which is better adapted to the measurement environment of inaccurate or uncalibrated camera parameters calibration, and more convenient to introduce the optimization algorithm. On the other hand, the affine coordinate system and the projective coordinate system are more widely used than the Euclidean coordinate system. The active binocular measurement system is constructed to collect the spatial information of 3D objects and store it in the form of point cloud. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2020.

According to the problem of discontinuous of jerk and low rate of federate change in S-shape federate control method, a jerk-limited federate control scheme which reduces the shock to machine tool in interpolating is presented. The constraints are analyzed from the angle of bow height error and acceleration. The simulation result shows that this method can improve the feed speed faster, realize the smooth transition of acceleration, and reduce NURBS Flexible impact on machine tool during curve interpolation. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

For 3D scattered point cloud, before surface reconstruction, preprocessing such as quantity reduction and surface denoising is needed. In this paper, a fast point cloud reduction algorithm based on farthest point sampling is proposed. The fast marching algorithm is used to expand the sampling area, and the farthest sampling condition is used to select the qualified sampling points. According to the characteristics of point cloud noise, a compound kMS point cloud denoising algorithm is designed based on k-d tree model and mean drift technology. Realize the fast and efficient denoising of point cloud data. The simulation results show that the algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively realize the function of point cloud reduction and denoising. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2020.

Milling tools of the rail milling train have to face severe weariness due to the uneven surface hardness, inconsistent cutting rate and uncertain status of the rail itself as well as the vibration caused by the suspension system of the rail milling train and its characteristic hunting motion. This study performed a milling tool wearing status analysis and conducted relative research on wearing mechanisms with electron scanning microscope based on the typical milling tools and specific working conditions of rail milling train. Results indicate that the wearing status of rail milling train consists mainly of crater wear, notch wear, cutting edge chipping, surface exfoliation, milling sintering and tool break. The tool wearing conditions of rail milling train, compared with ordinary milling process, are significantly severe, and associated with multiple types of wearing status of which certain relevance exists. The research is of great significance for the improvement of the milling tool, the optimization of the process and the improvement of the mobile milling quality of the rail. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2020.

Effective spare parts inventory management can not only ensure timely maintenance of equipment maintenance activities, but also reduce inventory capital occupation and improve the economic benefits of enterprises. In this paper, we present a condition-based maintenance strategy that considers spare parts issues for systems, with the goal of jointly optimizing conditional-based maintenance and spare parts management. Random systems are gradually degraded and continuously monitored. Spare parts supply using (S-1,S) type inventory strategy. According to the proposed strategy, the replacement of components is based on the actual degree of degradation, which is caused by the demand for spare parts. The Monte Carlo simulation method was used to simulate the proposed condition-based maintenance and spare parts replacement strategy. Therefore, the optimal solution is obtained by jointly optimizing the spare parts and condition-based maintenance of the components. Finally, a numerical example is delivered to show the proposed method. © 2019 IEEE.
