Positioning plays a crucial role in smart applications. Conventional positioning algorithms involve estimating either distance or direction, or a combination of both, to determine the position. However, these methods is susceptible to errors caused by the geometric dilution of precision (GDOP) of the base station. Alternatively, the direct position determination algorithm utilizes frequency-domain data for localization. However, the frequency-domain signals in this method comprise a conglomerate of multipath components, resulting in significant interference caused by multipath propagation. To overcome these limitations, this paper introduces a time-domain-based direct position estimation (DPE) algorithm. By establishing an objective function in the time domain regarding the target position, our algorithm enables direct estimation of the position. Through simulations in an indoor environment under different conditions, we validated the effectiveness of our DPE algorithm. The results demonstrate its applicability with diverse base station layouts and multipath environments.

For important local features were ignored by the convolutional neural network in Micro-blogs emotion analysis, and contextual information could not be fully learned by the recurrent neural network, a mixed model of KCNNBiLSTM-MA based on multi-feature fusion was proposed. The K convolutional neural network was used to obtain the important Topk features of the partial features of sentences. Then the sentence sequence information and context connection were got from different directions through bidirectional long short-term memory network, and the Multi-head Attention is added to its foundation thus giving more attention to the important parts. Finally, the different features obtained are fused for classification. The experiment proves that the KCNNBiLSTM-MA model has better performance than other emotion analysis models. © 2020 IEEE.

The fluctuation of oxygen excess ratio(OER) of the proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC) system in air feed subsystem affects the cell safety and performance *** this paper,we concern about the OER control of PEMFC air feed system and propose a hybrid fuzzy controller optimized by using particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm,which can track the optimal OER *** the design of the hybrid fuzzy controller,both the feedback and feedforward controller are *** the feedback control loop,the switching device selects the optimal controller between the fuzzy logic controller(FLC) and fuzzy self-tuning PID(FSTPID) controller in real time upon the OER tracking error,while in the feedforward control loop,the fuzzy feedforward controller(FFC) is used to reduce the current *** quantification and scale factors in fuzzy controllers are efficiently optimized by using PSO *** results show the quick tracking performance of OER and the good dynamic performance of air feed systems in PEMFC.

To avoid the insulation-based fault problem caused by the large slip loss of the brushless doubly-fed machine (BDFM), this paper proposes a dual electrical port slip vector control method that can effectively reduce the slip loss. Firstly, this paper introduces the mathematical model of the BDFM, then introduces the working principle of dual electrical port operation, then designs the slip frequency vector controller according to the rotor field orientation, and at the same time gives the realization of the control system necessary condition. Finally, the control algorithm in this paper is compared with the control algorithm under single electrical port. The results show the advantage of the dual electrical port control method and its robustness when there are deviations in parameters.

Accurate estimation of gross primary production (GPP, ecosystem level photosynthesis) is critical for monitoring terrestrial ecosystems. However, most of the current models used for GPP estimation are with many unknown parameters and rarely include the effects of soil water stress due to the covariation of soil moisture and air humidity. In addition, grasslands, as the most widely distributed ecosystems in the world, have simple ecosystem structure and are easily affected by soil drought. Therefore, in this paper, we applied photosynthesis-hydrology coordination optimization theory and soil water potential based on soil moisture effect to develop a combined model (PH model) for GPP estimation of grassland ecosystems and used the US-Var grassland ecosystem, one of the FLUXNET sites from January to July 2004 (the driest period in recent years) as an example to validate the model. The results show that the model can effectively track the measured GPP during soil drought period and is better than the result from another commonly used photosynthesis coordination model (Pmodel) which does not consider the effect of soil drought. Further, we can infer the vegetation photosynthetic capacity parameters including the maximum carboxylation capacity (V cmax) and the maximum electron-transport capacity (Jmax) under the effect of soil drought. The result also shows that if soil drought is not considered, the photosynthetic capacity parameters of vegetation will be overestimated. These results provide evidence for the application of photosynthesis-hydrology coordination theory in the assessment of ecosystem carbon cycle under the intensified climate changes.

In this paper, the consensus control against attacks for a type of nonlinear multi-agent switched systems under arbitrary switching is studied. The attacks corrupt the information data, which cannot be used for the feedback design. Meanwhile, the switching logic is not allowed to be designed. To tackle the complicated effects, some intermediate variables and adaptive laws are introduced to compensate the uncertainties. By constructing a common Lyapunov function, an adaptive protocol is proposed such that the outputs of the agents achieve consensus against attacks under arbitrary switching.

In this paper, the application of information theory to describe radar measurement problems is investigated. We define the range-DOA information in the phased-array radar as the mutual information between range, direction of arrival (DOA) and the received signal. The theoretical expression and an asymptotic upper bound for this information are presented in a single target scenario. It is concluded that the range information is independent of DOA information at high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The relationship between the upper bound and the Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) is discussed. In addition, the scattering information is defined as the mutual information between scattering properties and the received signal. The corresponding expression is formulated theoretically. Numerical simulation confirms our theoretical observations and indicates that the derived information can be employed as an evaluation index to quantitatively analyse the system performance. The regularity of information change reflects the information acquisition efficiency of a radar system, providing a guidance for system designers. © 2019 IEEE.

In this paper, the general radar measurement problems of determining range, Doppler frequency and scattering properties parameters are investigated from the viewpoint of Shannon’s information theory. We adopt the mutual information to evaluate the accuracy of the classification and estimation. The range-Doppler information is examined under the condition that the target is of radial velocity. Its asymptotic upper bound and the corresponding entropy error (EE) are further formulated theoretically. Additionally, the Doppler scattering information induced by target’s random motion characteristics is discussed. From the derivation, it is concluded that the Doppler scattering information depends on the eigenvalues of the target scattering correlation matrix. Especially in the case where the pulse interval is larger than target’s coherence time, we can find that the formula of the Doppler scattering information is similar to Shannon’s channel capacity equation, indicating the inherent consistency between the communication theory and radar field. Numerical simulations of these information contents are presented to confirm our theoretical observations. The relationship between the information content and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) reflects the changes in information acquisition efficiency of a radar system, providing guidance for system designers.
