Congestion Relief in Downlink OFDMA Cellular System Using Inter-Cell Relay

This paper proposes the concept of inter-cell relay for downlink orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA) cellular systems, which uses multi-hop to relay calls from overloaded cells to light-load neighboring cells. It is shown that when using inter-cell relay, the number of calls in the congestion cell can be significantly increased. The congestion cell is divided into two parts. One is called non-relay area(NRA), in which a call directly communicates with the base station(BS) of a congested cell. The other is called relay area(RA), in which a call communicates with the BS of a neighboring cell through a relay station(RS). The two parts have different user-call densities. By adjusting the densities of two parts, we will maximize the number of supported calls inside a congested cell. The results show the benefits gained from inter-cell relay in congestion relief, which can reduce cell congestion by fully utilizing the available resources in the neighboring cells.

The rapid growth of mobile applications,the popularity of the Android system and its openness have attracted many hackers and even criminals,who are creating lots of Android ***,the current methods of Android malware detection need a lot of time in the feature engineering ***,these models have the defects of low detection rate,high complexity,and poor practicability,*** analyze the Android malware samples,and the distribution of malware and benign software in application programming interface(API)calls,permissions,and other *** classify the software’s threat levels based on the correlation of ***,we propose deep neural networks and convolutional neural networks with ensemble learning(DCEL),a new classifier fusion model for Android malware ***,DCEL preprocesses the malware data to remove redundant data,and converts the one-dimensional data into a two-dimensional gray ***,the ensemble learning approach is used to combine the deep neural network with the convolutional neural network,and the final classification results are obtained by voting on the prediction of each single *** based on the Drebin and Malgenome datasets show that compared with current state-of-art models,the proposed DCEL has a higher detection rate,higher recall rate,and lower computational cost.

This paper demonstrates the design and fabrication of three-dimensional(3 D) hexagonally ordered microbowl arrays(MBAs) decorated with Cu In S2 nanosheets for enhanced photoelectrochemical(PEC) performance. The 3 D MBAs are fabricated by a micro-fabrication technique. The ultrathin CuInS2 nanosheets are grown on the 3 D electrodes by solvothermal transformation of Cu film. The photocurrent density of 3 D photocathode(CuInS2@MBAs) is about two times higher than that of the planar counterpart(CuInS2@Planar). The improved PEC performance can be ascribed to the elevated light trapping ability and the increased surface area for loading photocatalysts. In addition, CdS quantum dots as cocatalysts are modified onto the Cu In S2 nanosheets to further enhance the PEC activity because the formed p-n heterojunction can accelerate the separation of photogenerated carriers. As a result, the 3 D photocathode of CuInS2/CdS@MBAs shows an optimal incident photon to current efficiency of 10% at the wavelength of400 nm. It is believed that this work can be generalized to design other hierarchical 3 D photoelectrodes for improved solar water splitting.

MySQL database is more and more widely used, and the problems of data recovery and forensics brought about by it have become more and more people’s attention. The current common method of MySQL data recovery is to analyze the redo log. However, the redo log is based on the InnodDB storage engine. The storage engine in MySQL is not only InnoDB, so this method is not universal. In MySQL, there is also a very important log, which is a binary log with high efficiency and flexibility. This article analyzes the structure of MySQL binary log and uses binlog to restore the database by studying the principle of MySQL binary log function. This article analyzes and compares the mysqlbinlog tool and its defects, and uses Python to write a better binlog analysis tool to better adapt and generate standard SQL, and has a rollback function to recover data better. The reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) is a crucial wireless channel control technology in 6G systems. Unlike traditional passive RIS (PRIS), active RIS (ARIS) can overcome the "multiplicative fading"effect. However, the configuration of the reflecting elements can significantly impact the system performance. In this paper, we focus on the ARIS equipped with uniform planar array (UPA) reflecting elements. We provide the ergodic achievable rate (EAR) for both unconfigured and configured ARIS system with closed-form. The effects of reflecting element area on the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) are investigated, and a model selection scheme is proposed to determine whether to use ARIS or PRIS. Moreover, we analyze the average received power (ARP) and amplification power in ARIS. Based on the results of the analysis, a joint reflecting element area and quantity optimization scheme is proposed to improve system performance. The simulation results verify the accuracy of the analysis and highlight the superiority of the ARIS-assisted communication system. © 2023 IEEE.

Simultaneous Speech Extraction for Multiple Target Speakers Under Meeting Scenarios

The common target speech separation directly estimates the target source, ignoring the interrelationship between different speakers at each frame. We propose a multiple-target speech separation (MTSS) model to simultaneously extract each speaker’s voice from the mixed speech rather than just optimally estimating the target source. Moreover, we propose a speaker diarization (SD) aware MTSS system (SD-MTSS). By exploiting the target speaker voice activity detection (TSVAD) and the estimated mask, our SD-MTSS model can extract the speech signal of each speaker concurrently in a conversational recording without additional enrollment audio in advance. Experimental results show that our MTSS model achieves improvements of 1.38 dB signal-to-distortion ratio (SDR), 1.34 dB scale-invariant signal-to-distortion ratio (SISDR), and 0.13 perceptual evaluation of speech quality (PESQ) over the baseline on the WSJ0-2mix-extr dataset, separately. The SD-MTSS system makes a 19.2% relative speaker dependent character error rate reduction on the Alimeeting dataset. © Shanghai Jiao Tong University 2024.

In recent years, the Integrated Satellite Aerial Terrestrial (I-SAT) network has emerged as an innovative and comprehensive communication system and has gained wide attention. However, in the face of a complex external environment, it will still be affected by other factors. This paper considers the integration of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) with Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) and introduces a novel sub-connected active RIS architecture under the energy consumption constraints of the system. Firstly, a joint RIS phase shift, amplification, and UAV trajectory optimization algorithm is proposed to achieve a high achievable sum rate. Secondly, a Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) algorithm is utilized to solve the optimization problem and converge in a continuous action space. Finally, simulation results confirm that the proposed approach significantly enhances the system performance compared to the other schemes. © 2024 SPIE. All rights reserved.

The cloud can provide unlimited storage space to users via the Internet. Unlike locally data storing, users will lose the direct control of the data after outsourcing it to the cloud. Moreover, the cloud is an untrusted entity. It is possible that the cloud may try to extract, discard and destroy users’ data due to benefits. Hence, the data security in cloud computing needs to be well guaranteed. In this paper, we propose a privacy-preserving data outsourcing scheme with integrity auditing for lightweight devices in cloud computing. On the one hand, the blind signature is used in the proposed scheme to delegate the generation of users’ data signatures to the TPA. On the other hand, based on the property of the BLS signature, the blinded signatures received from the TPA can be verified by the user and the data integrity stored in the cloud can be audited by the TPA. In addition, the proposed scheme supports batch operation. Security analysis shows that the proposed scheme achieves the properties of correctness, privacy-preserving and non-forgeability. Performance analysis indicates that the proposed scheme can be performed with high efficiency. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
