Multiparty dialogue question answering (QA) within machine reading comprehension (MRC) presents significant challenges due to the complex interplay of information across multiple speakers and the need for advanced logical reasoning. While existing models often focus on separating dialogue information based on speakers and utterances, they rarely address the crucial aspect of logical inference, leading to suboptimal performance in understanding and answering questions. To bridge this gap, we introduce the Logical Inference Memory Network (LIMN), a novel architecture designed for extractive QA in multiparty dialogues. LIMN incorporates a unique inference module pretrained on plain text QA datasets (like SQuAD 2.0), enabling it to transfer robust logical reasoning abilities to the dialogue domain. This module generates representations that are specifically attuned to logical inference, which are then integrated into the dialogue context. Furthermore, we propose a key-utterance-based interaction mechanism that dynamically focuses on the most relevant utterances within the dialogue, enhancing the model's ability to pinpoint answers. To ensure robust performance, LIMN employs a multitask learning strategy that jointly optimizes for answer extraction, answerability prediction, key-utterance identification, and masked speaker prediction. Extensive experiments on the Molweni and FriendsQA benchmarks, encompassing 25,000 and 10,000 questions respectively, demonstrate that LIMN achieves state-of-the-art results, affirming the effectiveness of incorporating logical inference in multiparty dialogue QA. © 2025 Association for Computational Linguistics.

Several special properties of Smart and Vercauteren’s encryption scheme are put *** are all based on the special parameter,which is a recommended modulus *** properties not only show that the secret key is deduced from an N-dimensional vector into its any entry,but also produce the triplet(grade-i reduced plaintext space,grade-i reduced ciphertext space,grade-i reduced secret key) for each i,where grade-i reduced secret key can decrypt grade-i reduced ciphertexts and can be efficiently computed from grade-i delegated *** the same time,sequentially grade-(i + 1)delegated key can be efficiently computed from grade-i delegated *** work also discusses a sequential computation in opposite direction,i.e.,computing grade-i delegated key from grade-(i + 1) delegated *** the sequential computation in the opposite direction is difficult except at most the first steps of such sequential *** on the properties given,we then propose a simple hierarchical encryption scheme with relatively small key and ciphertext sizes.

Leveled Homomorphic Encryption in Certificateless Cryptosystem

To lower communication complexity, a Certificateless homomorphic encryption(CLHE) scheme based on the Learning with errors(LWE) problem is constructed by introducing a new technique called probabilistic encoding with weakly homomorphic property. This technique can conveniently convert an intended message into two elements in a ring, which will be respectively encrypted under both public keys of a user in certificateless *** knowing both elements simultaneously, the original message can be easily recovered. It is hidden perfectly by the probabilistic property of encoding. This CLHE removes evaluation keys by using the approximate eigenvector method given by Gentry et al., which makes it into a pure CLHE. It is proven to be semantic secure in the Random oracle model(ROM). The results indicate it is able to homomorphically evaluate any functions in a class functions with given multiplicative depth L.

Listening to the user's voice: A temporal analysis of autism-related questions on Quora

Social question and answer (Q&A) platforms offer a new way for identifying information needs of people with certain diseases. Taking Quora as an example, we examine which health topics are of interest to autistic people and how these topics evolve over time. Experimental results reveal increasingly heavy and diverse attention to the condition, from diagnosis and treatment of autism itself to extended issues like social challenges, parenting, and education issues. We find that users tend to post clinical concerns about autism on Quora although traditionally such social Q&A platforms encourage more social and awareness-level questions. New concerns have appeared recently about autism's relations to other diseases like attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD). Gender Disparity in Expressed Emotions within Health-Related Online Support Groups

Online support groups offer a new way to users to communicate with others regarding certain health issues. Taking autism-related support groups on Facebook as an example, we examine whether the expressed emotions differ between female and male users in online health-related support groups and whether such gender disparity varied based on the topics of the groups. Experimental results reveal a significant gender difference of expressed emotions in the groups. We find that female users tended to express more positive emotions in the group discussions than the male group members did. In addition, users appeared to express different sentiments within the groups focused on various topics. Male users tend to convey more negative emotions in the group that related to treatment, while female users were more positive when posted in the research-related group than male users were. Fine-grained change operations can help software developers fix software bugs more accurately and efficiently. However, the current fine-grained change operations are only used in specific fixing process, such as fixing of If statement. In this paper, we conducted an empirical study to explore the fine-grained change operations for bug fixing. Based on the Mozilla bug data,we examined whether similar bugs are fixed with similar change operations. The results show that: First, for bug reports with similar descriptions or bug-fix commits with similar descriptions, their corresponding fine-grained change operations are not related; Second, in the case where the descriptions of both bug reports and bug-fix commits are similar, the fine-grained change operations in patch code are not related; Third, by classifying bug reports, we find that the change operations in the same bug report category are similar; Finally, by analyzing the fine-grained change operations for each bug, we present some combined patterns that are often used together.

Research Purpose: The distributed, traceable and security of blockchain technology are applicable to the construction of new government information resource models, which could eliminate the barn effect and trust in government information sharing, as well as promoting the transformation of government affairs from management to service, it is also of great significance to the sharing of government information and construction of service-oriented e-government. Propose Methods: By analyzing the current problems of government information sharing, combined with literature research, this paper proposes the theoretical framework and advantages of blockchain technology applied to government information management and sharing, expounds the blockchain-based solution, it also constructs a government information sharing model based on blockchain, and gives implementation strategies at the technical and management levels. Results and Conclusion: The government information sharing model based on the blockchain solution and the transparency of government information can be used as a research framework for information interaction analysis between the government and users. It can also promote the construction and development of information sharing for Chinese government, as well as providing unified information sharing solution at the departmental and regional levels for e-government. © 2019 IEEE.

Journal discriminative capacity refers to the degree of difference between the journals in research subjects, and is of great significance for detecting the level of journal differentiation. Current research on journal discrepancies is predominantly focused on the quantitative analysis of journal content, and rarely measures the degree of journal difference. To address this lapse in research, a method from the perspective of difference is proposed in this paper to quantitatively measure and analyze the discriminative capacity of journals. Using the bibliographic of Science Citation Index (SCI), Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI) journals from 2015–2017 as the data source, the contents differences of 23 Library and Information Science (LIS) journals are analyzed through hierarchical clustering and journal discriminative capacity (JDC) measurement. The discriminative capacity of disciplines is then calculated and combined with multidimensional scaling analysis to detect the difference characteristics of journals in ten disciplines, and the mean JDC is used to explore the overall differences of disciplines. Results show that the discriminative capacity of LIS journals is obviously stratified, the journals of library science are the most discriminating, and the journals of evaluation and review are the weakest. In addition, the journals of different disciplines have distinct disciplinary characteristics, with the discriminative capacity of SCI journals as the most notable, followed by SSCI journals, and with A&HCI journals displaying the weakest discriminative capacity. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2020.

In the era of big data, data redundancy has become an obstacle to deep reading. The objective of linked data as a new data organization model is to transform data into structured data following unified standards. The lack of Chinese conceptual terms has seriously hindered the semantization and standardization of Chinese domain ontology. Taking Chinese historical events as an example, ontology technology is used in this paper to standardize the definition of concepts and semantic relations in domain knowledge. Moreover, concepts from text resources are extracted through a deep learning algorithm Bi-LSTM-CRFs and combined with an external knowledge base to realize the fusion of related data within various data sets. Ultimately, the knowledge ontology of historical events is displayed in the way of a knowledge graph to further explore the practical application. The results show that the accuracy of the terms extraction of historical events is about 80% indicating the good recognition performance and portability of the model. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
