Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries with high theoretical specific capacity of 1675 mAh g-1 and energy density of 2600 Wh kg−1 are considered as a promising candidate for energy conversion and storage devices in future. However, some critical dilemmas such as low real energy density, high solubility of ether-based electrolytes and slow redox kinetics of long-chain polysulfides remain unsettled hindering their development. Here we design and propose a high-performance sulfur host material constructed by growing highly dispersed CoN/Co9S8 nanoparticles enclosed in graphene and Co9S8 modified separator to enhance the electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries. The highly dispersed CoN/Co9S8@graphene composite can ensure high charge-transfer capability and fast conversion reaction kinetics, thereby improving the sulfur utilization and reaction sites of polysulfides, and inhibiting the leakage of the polysulfides. Benefiting from the extremely thin layer structure, the S@CoN@graphene cathode with Co9S8 layer represents a high discharge capacity of 1367.7 mAh g-1 at 0.1 C and a prolonged lifespan over 700 cycles at 1 C with an extremely low decay rate of 0.06% per cycle and high cycling stability. The results of first principal calculations reveal that the calculated adsorption energies of Li2S8, Li2S6, Li2S4 and Li2S2 on the Co9S8 (111) surface are lower than that of the CoN (111) surface, indicating that the Co9S8 has stronger adsorbing effect with polysulfides and can effectively restrain the shuttle effect of polysulfides. © 2024, The Authors. A Sheltering Ratio Fluorescence Probe Based on Br-Cds for Selectivity Detection of Gsh

To distinguish different biothiol species and resolve cysteine interference in fluorescence detection, a fluorescence ratio strategy with shielding effect that specifically responds to GSH without Cys interference was constructed by employing the hybridization of blue-emitting (B-CDs) and red-emitting carbon dots (R-CDs). The constructed BR-CDs probe showed a decrease in red-emission intensity and simultaneous recovery of blue-emission intensity in the presence of GSH, while the ratio of dual-emission fluorescence intensity, FL440/FL620, showed a superior linear response to GSH in the range of 30 - 500 μmol/L with a LOD of 5.27 μmol/L. Selective experiments showed that the BR-CDs hybrid probes could distinguish well between GSH and other biothiol small molecules, and did not respond to other eight essential amino acids, demonstrating good specificity. The recoveries of spiked GSH in tomatoes ranged from 101.97% to 110.73%, demonstrating the probe's potential for selective and quantitative detection of GSH. © 2024, The Authors. Multi-vehicle collaborative position improves the position accuracy of the entire fleet through the information interaction between vehicles. Traditional methods are mostly based on satellite navigation systems, and navigation accuracy is difficult to guarantee in GNSS denied environment. This paper presents a ranging datalink based collaborative navigation method for multi-vehicles. On each vehicle, this paper establishes the odometry, inertial navigation system (INS) and datalink system to obtain the absolute navigation information and relative navigation information of the vehicle. The relative distance between each vehicle is attainted by the datalink system. A four vehicles scene is considered. This paper establishes the speed and angle measurement model of sensors and the ranging model of datalink, and derives the state equation and measurement equation of the cooperative system as a whole. Satellite fault detection and exclusion (FDE) is an important guarantee for Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) to provide standard services. With the great investment of GNSS construction in many countries, multi-constellation positioning needs higher multi-fault detection performance of Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) algorithm. In this paper, an improved RAIM algorithm with decoupling parity vectors (DPV) is proposed for multi-satellite FDE. By means of decoupling of traditional parity vector, multiple fault observations are isolated at one time. To eliminate the interference of large faults and multiple faults, positioning with fault-free satellite set by iterative detection is adopted. The simulations show that the fault test rate of the algorithm in this paper is more than 99%. The 99% corresponds to faults which is less than 8 fault observations with more than 11 × σ bias (1σ = 10.5 m). Cu Single Atoms Anchored on Hydrangea-Like Carbon Nitride for Facilitating Photo-Fenton: Role of Cu2+/Cu+ Cycle

Single-atom photo-Fenton (PF) reaction is widely employed for the degradation of antibiotics and water disinfection. However, the key fundamental issues of the valence state cycling of single-atom metals and the activation of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in the PF process remain indistinct. Herein, we developed a photocatalyst donated as Cu single atoms anchored hydrangea-like carbon nitride (Cu-SA/CNH) with Cu-N4 coordination for PF reaction. Compared to pristine CNH, the photocatalyst exhibited a 2.42-fold increase in PF kinetics. The Cu-SA/CNH/PF system achieved 98.1% degradation efficiency of tetracycline and effectively inactivated Escherichia coli within 30 min. Density functional theory calculations demonstrated that the formation of Cu-N4 effectively improved the energy of the Cu d orbitals, leading to the generation of intermediate states that facilitated Cu2+/Cu+ cycle. The adsorption capacity of Cu dxz orbitals on H2O2 increased nearly 10 times. This work provides valuable insights for enhancing single-atom PF activity to address environmental pollution. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

It is a challenge to develop high-efficiency, easy-recyclable adsorbents for the removal of dyes from environmental waters. Herein, we report the construction of two types of palygorskite (Pal)-polymer aerogels with distinctive hierarchically meso−microporous structure, which different polymer species—sodium alginate (SA) and chitosan (CS)—through the sol-gel method, cross-linking, and freeze-drying, for the removal of dye pollutants from water. A hierarchical porous structure of aerogel accelerates the diffusion of dye water. Notably, this developed strategy enables selective dye adsorption by tuning the polymer and component contents in the Pal-polymer aerogel. Indeed, the maximum adsorption capacity of the Pal-SA composite aerogel for malachite green (cationic) dye reached 2008 mg/g and that of the Pal-CS(Fe3+) composite aerogel for sunset yellow (anionic) reached 976 mg/g. In addition, the composite aerogels can be regenerated many times without significant loss of effectiveness. Cultured biomass, as a novel food ingredient, significantly contributes to providing meat-like flavor and nutrition. We systematically evaluated fatty acids and triacylglycerol composition,as well as tocopherol,phytosterol,and phenolics,in walnut oil and compared the cholesterol-lowering effects of oil processed with different methods(cold pressing,roast-pressing,hexane extraction,subcritical butane extraction,and supercritical CO_(2) extraction).The different methods did not affect the lipid composition of walnut *** tocopherol(41.11 mg/100 g)and total phenolic content(TPC,4.26 mg/100 g)of roast-pressed walnut oil and the phytosterol contents of subcritical butane-extracted walnut oil(106.51 mg/100 g)were higher than those of other tested *** oil significantly decreased cholesterol synthesis by downregulating the expression of HMGCR,SREBP-2,and CYP51 genes,and increased cholesterol efflux by upregulating the expression of ABCG1,thus significantly reducing total cholesterol and *** and TPC in walnut oil were responsible for lowering cholesterol;the optimal concentration of phytosterols was 10μg/mL,and that of TPC was 12.5×10^(-3)μg/*** process optimization,a new processing method for walnut oil based on biological evaluation was preliminarily established.

Graphitic carbon nitride (CN) has garnered considerable attention in the field of visible-light CO2 photoreduction, but its efficiency remains limited by the intrinsic π-conjugated skeleton. Here, O and S were co-doped CN (O, S/CN) by a facile "hydrolysis + calcination" approach to modulate the physicochemical and electronic structure. Distinctive from S doped CN (SCN), O, S/CN owned porous layer structure with several nanosheets and less SO42- groups on the surface. The amount of heteroatom-doping was achieved by changing the hydrothermal temperature. The optimum O, S/CN-80 achieved moderate CO production rate of 1.29 μmol g-1h-1, which was 3.79 times as much as SCN (0.34 μmol g-1h-1). The O and most S atoms were substitutionally doped and the effect of S doped state on the improved efficiency of CO generation in O, S/CN was also explored based on the theoretical calculations. This work provides an inspiration to develop efficient dual-doped CN photocatalysts for photocatalytic CO2 reduction. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

On-Chip Generation and Collectively Coherent control of the Superposition of the Whole Family of Dicke States

Integrated quantum photonics has recently emerged as a powerful platform for generating, manipulating, and detecting entangled photons. Multipartite entangled states lie at the heart of the quantum physics and are the key enabling resources for scalable quantum information processing. Dicke state is an important class of genuinely entangled state, which has been systematically studied in the light-matter interactions, quantum state engineering, and quantum metrology. Here, by using a silicon photonic chip, we report the generation and collectively coherent control of the entire family of four-photon Dicke states, i.e., with arbitrary excitations. We generate four entangled photons from two microresonators and coherently control them in a linear-optic quantum circuit, in which the nonlinear and linear processing are achieved in a chip-scale device. The generated photons are in telecom band, which lays the groundwork for large-scale photonic quantum technologies for multiparty networking and metrology.
