Topological relations between spherical spatial regions with holes

There is growing interest in globally modelling the entire *** topological relations between spherical simple regions and topological relations between regions with holes in the plane have been investigated,few studies have focused on the topological relations between spherical spatial regions with *** 16-intersection model(16IM)is proposed to describe the topological relations between spatial regions with holes.A total of 25 negative conditions are proposed to eliminate the impossible topological relations between spherical spatial regions with *** results show that(1)3 disjoint relations,3 meet relations,66 overlap relations,7 cover relations,3 contain relations,1 equal relation,7 coveredBy relations,3 inside relations,1 attach relation,52 entwined relations,and 28 embrace relations can be distinguished by the 16IM and that(2)the formalisms of attach,entwined,and embrace relations between the spherical spatial regions without holes based on the 9IM and that between the spherical spatial regions with holes based on the simplified 16IM are different,whereas the formalisms of other types of relations between spherical spatial regions without holes based on the 9IM and that between the spherical spatial regions with holes based on a simplified 16IM are the same.

With the increasing number of Internet of Things (IoT) edge devices and the rapid development of mobile communications, edge intelligence has emerged. Federated learning enables collaborative model training tasks without the need to share raw data, making it a crucial aspect of realizing edge intelligence. Traditional edge intelligence networks struggle to adapt to complex and dynamic heterogeneous network environments, prompting the integration of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) into federated learning due to their flexibility and mobility, allowing them to effectively provide communication services within edge intelligence networks. This paper proposes a UAV-assisted federated edge learning framework based on hierarchical differential privacy and model segmentation. With the rapid advancement of large models, training complex neural networks becomes challenging. By segmenting the training model and leveraging edge computing to offload part of the task to the edge base station, the computational overhead on the UAV side can be significantly reduced. A privacy budget allocation algorithm, based on parameter states, is designed for uploading the model to the edge base station, ensuring model privacy protection by incorporating a personalized perturbation mechanism while ensuring data availability. Comparative experiments with existing models demonstrate that the proposed learning framework performs well in improving convergence speed and reducing the risk of model leakage. © 2024 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Presently power network security attacks occur frequently, data security and privacy communication are facing a major threat, and secure data communication is imminent. Aiming at the injection attack type of Cross-site scripting attack(XSS), we analyze it and design a hybrid dynamic testing technology method. SVM is combined to build a discriminator to distinguish malignant scripts. Browser tools are used to simulate attacks and built-in script execution functions are used to continuously monitor the target attribute values and page status, dynamically discover malicious content, and improve source code security. Experiments show that this method is effective for vulnerability detection. It has low overhead in the process of implementing dynamic testing and effectively improves the accuracy of vulnerability analysis combined with static content analysis. © 2023 IEEE.

The powerful capabilities of large language models (LLMs) in the medical field have been affirmed by various benchmark tests. However, safety assessments are indispensable for high-risk medical applications. We systematically analyzed LLMs, including their technical principles, applicability in healthcare, medical capability assessment, potential security risks, and countermeasures. The study found that LLMs demonstrate strong capabilities in medical text processing, decision support, and text generation, but also have risks like "hallucination". To ensure safe and effective applications of LLMs, we analyzed the causes of hallucination and proposed using output detection and prompting techniques to mitigate hallucinations generated by LLMs. The results affirm that LLMs can advance AI innovation in healthcare, but need to be introduced prudently without comprehensive safety assessments. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

As the power Internet of Things(IoT)enters the security construction stage,the massive use of perception layer devices urgently requires an identity authentication scheme that considers both security and *** existing public key infrastructure(PKI)-based security authentication scheme is currently difficult to apply in many terminals in *** key distribution and management costs are high,which hinders the development of power IoT security *** Public Key(CPK)technology uses a small number of seeds to generate unlimited public *** is very suitable for identity authentication in the power Internet of *** this paper,we propose a novel identity authentication scheme for power *** scheme combines the physical unclonable function(PUF)with improved CPK technology to achieve mutual identity authentication between power IoT terminals and *** proposed scheme does not require third-party authentication and improves the security of identity authentication for power ***,the scheme reduces the resource consumption of power IoT *** improved CPK algorithm solves the key collision problem,and the third party only needs to save the private key and the public key *** results show that the amount of storage resources occupied in our scheme is *** proposed scheme is more suitable for the power IoT.

The reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) is a crucial wireless channel control technology in 6G systems. Unlike traditional passive RIS (PRIS), active RIS (ARIS) can overcome the "multiplicative fading" effect. However, the configuration of the reflecting elements can significantly impact the system performance. In this paper, we focus on the ARIS equipped with uniform planar array (UPA) reflecting elements. We provide the ergodic achievable rate (EAR) for both unconfigured and configured ARIS system with closed-form. The effects of reflecting element area on the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) are investigated, and a model selection scheme is proposed to determine whether to use ARIS or PRIS. Moreover, we analyze the average received power (ARP) and amplification power in ARIS. Based on the results of the analysis, a joint reflecting element area and quantity optimization scheme is proposed to improve system performance. The simulation results verify the accuracy of the analysis and highlight the superiority of the ARIS-assisted communication system.

Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) promises to improve the received signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio by manipulating the phase shift of the incident wave. However, the traditional RIS can only reflect the signal by one side and the other half space is blocked. Fortunately, the emerging simultaneous transmitting and reflecting RIS (STAR-RIS) can solve this problem. STAR-RIS supports to reflect and transmit the signal at the same time and then realize the 360-degree coverage. In this paper, we analyze the performance of STAR-RIS assisted unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) empowered wireless communication systems, including the outage probability and the ergodic achievable rate. The general fading channels, i.e., the Nakagami-m fading channels are considered. We first derived the closed-form expression of the outage probability and the ergodic achievable rate, and then explore a series of insights. The numerical results verify the correctness of our analytical expressions by Monte Carlo simulations.
