Image Hiding Algorithm in Discrete Cosine Transform Domain Based on Grey Prediction and Grey Relational Analysis

Traditional information hiding algorithms cannot maintain a good balance of capacity,invisibility and *** this paper,a novel blind colour image information hiding algorithm based on grey prediction and grey relational analysis in the Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT) domain is ***,this algorithm compresses the secret image losslessly based on the improved grey prediction GM(1,1)(IGM) *** then chooses the blocks of rich texture in the cover image as the embedding regions using Double-dimension Grey Relational Analysis(DGRA).Finally,it adaptively embeds the compressed secret bits stream into the DCT domain mid-frequency coefficients,which are decided by those blocks' Double-Dimension Grey Correlation Degree(DGCD) and Human Visual System(HVS).This method can ensure an adequate balance between invisibility,capacity and *** results show that the proposed algorithm is robust against JPEG compression(46.724 6 dB when the compression quality factor is 90%),Gaussian noise(45.531 3 dB when the parameter is(0,0.000 5)) etc.,and it is a blind information hiding algorithm that can be extracted without an original carrier.

As a future energy system,the smart grid is designed to improve the efficiency of traditional power systems while providing more stable and reliable ***,this efficient and reliable service relies on collecting and analyzing users’electricity consumption data frequently,which induces various security and privacy *** address these challenges,we propose a double-blockchain assisted secure and anonymous data aggregation scheme for fog-enabled smart grid named ***,we design a three-tier architecture-based data aggregation framework by integrating fog computing and the blockchain,which provides strong support for achieving efficient and secure data collection in smart ***,we develop a secure and anonymous data aggregation mechanism with low computational overhead by jointly leveraging the Paillier encryption,batch aggregation signature and anonymous *** particular,the system achieves fine-grained data aggregation and provides effective support for power dispatching and price adjustment by the designed double-blockchain and two-level data ***,the superiority of the proposed scheme is illustrated by a series of security and computation cost analyses.

An increasing number of databases have become Web accessible through HTML form-based search interfaces, which is so-called deep Web. For full utilization of deep Web resources and improving Web intelligence, which is essential for many applications such as deep Web data collection and comparison shopping, they need to be extracted out and assigned meaningful labels. In this paper, we present a synchronous-annotation approach that introduce domain ontology as a global schema ordered by Web databases to the annotation process. We combine ontology, interface schema and result schema and adopt the strategy of query ontology instance to implement annotation. In order to verify the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper, we test on a number of different areas of Web databases. The experimental results indicate that the proposed approach is more effective than existing approaches.

T43 paper investigates the matching problem between radio resources and multi-homing services in a dynamic heterogeneous wireless environment. A mobile terminal (MT) with multi-homing service simultaneously transmits data to multiple radio access networks using multiple air interfaces. We develop an energy efficient resource matching algorithm for statistically guaranteeing the transmission rate of each MT with the minimum power consumption. Firstly, aided with the resource matching conception and the dynamic characteristics of wireless channels, we propose a matching probability metric to construct resource matching model for maximizing energy efficiency of all MTs subject to statistical guarantee requirements, and simplify the dynamic channels characteristic based on matching theory. Secondly, we propose a two-level distributed matching algorithm (TLDMA), with inner minimum power consumption and outer maximum matching probability, which realizes joint optimal allocation of bandwidth, transmission power and rate. Simulation results show that TLDMA outperforms conventional algorithms in terms of wireless resources management. © 2018 IEEE.

Improved MFCC feature extraction combining symmetric ICA algorithm for robust speech recognition

Independent component analysis (ICA), instead of the traditional discrete cosine transform (DCT), is often used to project log Mel spectrum in robust speech feature extraction. The paper proposed using symmetric orthogonalization in ICA for projecting log Mel spectrum into a new feature space as a substitute in extracting speech features to solve the problem of cumulative error and unequal weights that deflation orthogonalization brings, so as to improve the robustness of speech recognition systems, and increase the efficiency of estimation at the same time. Furthermore, the paper studied the nonlinearities of the objective function in ICA and their coefficients, tested them in all kinds of environments, finding that they influenced the recognition rate greatly in speech recognition systems, and applied a new coefficient in the proposed method. Experiments based on HMM and Aurora-2 speech corpus suggested that the new method was superior to deflation- based ICA and MFCC. © 2012 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

Secure and efficient VSS scheme based on partial broadcast channels

In the conventional verifiable secret sharing scheme, a dealer uses point-to-point secure channels to distribute the shares of a secret to a number of participants. Rei and Wang proposed a secret sharing scheme based on partial broadcast channels, which reduced the number of the channels. But it supposed that both the dealer and participants were honest. In this paper, we present a secure and efficient verifiable secret sharing (VSS) scheme based on partial broadcast channels, which solves the problem in Rei and Wang's scheme. Through the analysis of the scheme, we get that it is secure and efficient, and has the advantage of the number of channels and the total communications needed compared with the conventional verifiable secret sharing scheme. 1553-9105/ Copyright © 2009 Binary information Press.

This paper presents a topic-driven framework for generating a generic summary from multi-documents. Our approach is based on the intuition that, from the statistical point of view, the summary's probability distribution over the topics should be consistent with the multi-documents' probability distribution over the inherent topics. Here, the topics are defined as weighted “bag-of-words” and derived by Latent Dirichlet Allocation from a collection of documents, either the given multi-documents or a related large-scale corpus. In this sense, we could represent various kinds of text units, such as word, sentence, summary, document and multi-documents, using a single vector space model via their corresponding probability distributions over the derived topics. Therefore, we are able to extract a sentence or summary by calculating the similarity between a sentence/summary and the given multi-documents via their topic probability distributions. In particular, we propose two methods in similarity measurement: the static method and the dynamic method. While the former is employed to detect the salience of information in a static way, the later further controls redundancy in a dynamic way. In addition, we integrate various popular features to improve the performance. Evaluation on the TAC 2008 update summarization task shows encouraging results.

This paper explores protein-protein interaction extraction from biomedical literature using support vector machines (SVM). Besides common lexical features, various overlap features and base phrase chunking information are used to improve the performance. Evaluation on the AIMed corpus shows that our feature-based method achieves very encouraging performances of 68.6 and 51.0 in F-measure with 10-fold pair-wise cross-validation and 10-fold document-wise cross-validation respectively, which are comparable with other state-of-the-art feature-based methods.

This paper proposes a unified dynamic relation tree (DRT) span for tree kernel-based semantic relation extraction between entity names. The basic idea is to apply a variety of linguistics-driven rules to dynamically prune out noisy information from a syntactic parse tree and include necessary contextual information. In addition, different kinds of entity-related semantic information are unified into the syntactic parse tree. Evaluation on the ACE RDC 2004 corpus shows that the unified DRT span outperforms other widely-used tree spans, and our system achieves comparable performance with the state-of-the-art kernel-based ones. This indicates that our method can not only well model the structured syntactic information but also effectively capture entity-related semantic information.

Design patterns add more reliability, flexibility and reusability to a software system. Taking advantage of design patterns is usually beneficial to software design and makes software development relatively easier. The state pattern proposed by GoF is not a determined design and can hardly be transformed into implementation code directly. It is disable to cope with sophisticated response event either. Hereby we propose a novel event-conditionstate pattern framework, an event-based finite state machine. The framework improves GoF state pattern by resegmenting Context into two classes, one for management and the other for operation interface. Essential components for implementation, such as management, state transferring, and event triggering mechanism, are also taken into consideration in the framework. We use pattern framework to develop a thirty party input method system which has a Windows Mobile system version and a Symbian system version separately. We rewrote Context part related with system interfaces in the two different systems, and encapsulated the part related with internal logic of input method by concrete subclasses, thus avoiding redundant developing work in both systems and providing convenience for later synchronous updating and maintenance of two input methods. With the pattern framework, much effort during software development is saved. The development logic seems simpler and clearer. As a result, the whole development process is simplified. © 2011 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.
