Effect of rolling temperature on microstructure and texture of twin roll cast ZK60 magnesium alloy

Twin roll cast ZK60 alloy strip/sheet with final thickness of 0.5 mm was prepared, and effect of rolling temperature on microstructure and texture development was investigated using OM and XRD technique, microstructure and texture were measured on specimens subjected to rolling experiment at different rolling temperature, and macrotexture was also evaluated by X-ray diffraction method. In addition, the （1010）and （0002） pole figures were measured, and the tensile test was performed to reveal the influence of rolling temperature on mechanical properties. The results show that the microstrucmre of ZK60 alloy sheet consisted of fibrous structure with elongated grains, and shear bands along the rolling direction after warm rolling. Dynamic recrystallization could be found during the warm rolling process at rolling temperature 350℃ and above. And many fine recrystallized grain could be observed in the shear bands area. It is a little difficult to see the recrystallized grain in the sheet warm rolled at 300℃ because of higher density of shear bands. The warm rolled ZK60 alloy sheet exhibited strong （0002） pole texture, the intensity of （0002） pole figure decreases with the increasing of rolling temperature and the basal pole tilted slightly to the transverse direction after warm rolling.

Recent advancements in conductive hydrogels have demonstrated significant progress in flexible sensing applications. However, integrating multifunctionality—including mechanical properties, environmental stability, high sensitivity, and great self-healing capability—into hydrogel sensors via a simple and eco-friendly synthesis approach remains a challenge. Herein, we reported multifunctional polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/polyacrylic acid (PAA)/agarose (AG) hydrogels fabricated through a facile one-pot strategy. The dual-crosslinked network, enabled by AlCl₃ (physical crosslinker) and sodium tetraborate decahydrate (chemical crosslinker), synergistically enhanced structural integrity. Incorporation of carboxyl graphene oxide (GO-COOH) optimized mechanical strength (the fracture stress of 122.3 kPa) and electrical conductivity (10.56 ± 0.63 S/m). The hydrogel strain sensor exhibited exceptional sensitivity (gauge factor = 11.31 within 400–550 % strain), enabling precise monitoring of both large-scale motions (e.g., joint flexion) and subtle movements (e.g., facial expression). Notably, GO-COOH endowed the hydrogel with a rapid photothermal response, expanding its utility to photothermal sensing. Moreover, the dynamic borate ester bonds, metal coordination bonds and hydrogen bond interactions conferred 100 % self-healing efficiency, significantly prolonging the operational lifespan of the hydrogel sensor. This work presents a scalable, green synthesis route for multifunctional hydrogels, demonstrating broad potential in wearable health monitoring, environmental sensing, and human-machine interfaces.

Error concealment can be regarded as a sort of error resilient coding techniques. This paper proposes a method to recover lost blocks in stereoscopic images. We first utilize the correlation to perform disparity estimation to match the corresponding blocks for lost ones. And then we calculate the boundary smooth degree (BSD) for each recovered block. If BSD exceeds the threshold, it means that the boundary is discontinuous which mainly results from high detailed blocks, edge blocks or occluded blocks. So we consider neighboring blocks' BSD and estimate the content of a lost block, and adaptively use different methods to conceal it. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can greatly improve the subjective and objective quality of the reconstructed image. ©2009 IEEE.

Four-Dimensional Cone Beam Computed Tomography (4D-CBCT) imaging technology offers enhanced image quality and spatial resolution for intraoperative guidance, facilitating real-time tracking of tumor position changes during radiotherapy. However, this is still a task of great challenges due to insufficient projections at each respiratory phase after phase-sorting, and the image phases reconstructed directly from phase-sorted data are discrete and discontinuous. To generate high-quality 4D-CBCT deformation vector fields (DVFs), this paper leverages the preoperative static prior image to guide intraoperative dynamic sparse-view reconstruction images for reducing anatomical structure differences, ultimately achieving continuous and dynamic 4D-CBCT imaging. In this paper, we propose a Multi-scale Cascaded residual deformable vector field estimation framework based on Cross-attention in Motioncompensated 4D-CBCT reconstruction (MCCM), which combines Multi-Scale Cascaded residual registration network (MSCNet), Cross-Attention Enhanced feature Fusion (CAEF) module and Structure-Enhanced Motion-Compensated (SEMC) module: 1) the MCCM employs a multi-scale cascaded residual network strategy, merging multi-receptive fields and multi-resolution feature maps for large-scale internal changes. 2) the CAEF is embedded into MSC-Net to facilitate effective communication and learning between features and promote the flow of information. 3) the SEMC is developed to reduce artifacts after intraoperative CBCT sparse-view reconstruction, restore global lung motion changes and local details, and enhance structural information through image fusion. The proposed method has been evaluated using simulated and clinical datasets and has shown promising results by comparative experiment. Our approach exhibits significant improvements across various evaluation metrics. © 2024 IEEE.

Super-Resolution (SR) technique means to reconstruct High-Resolution (HR) images from a sequence of Low-Resolution (LR) observations,which has been a great focus for compressed video. Based on the theory of Projection Onto Convex Set (POCS),this paper constructs Quantization Constraint Set (QCS) using the quantization information extracted from the video bit stream. By combining the statistical properties of image and the Human Visual System (HVS),a novel Adaptive Quantization Constraint Set (AQCS) is proposed. Simulation results show that AQCS-based SR al-gorithm converges at a fast rate and obtains better performance in both objective and subjective quality,which is applicable for compressed video.

License plate detection has wide applications in the intelligent transportation system, while it still remains challenges to improve the robustness under various shooting distance and observation angles. To get better performance, a novel convolutional-neural-network-based method is proposed, which is achieved with auxiliary information and context fusion model. First, the auxiliary information is employed in our framework, which corresponds with resolutions, orientations and shapes of license plates. Specifically, the multiple resolutions are collected through integrating multi-level features of convolution hierarchy. Besides the various scales and ratios, the region proposal network RPN with multi-angle anchors and branching structure is applied to generate proper proposals. Second, an effective context fusion model is designed to fully exploit the hidden correlation between license plates and contextual properties. The local and contextual features are independently learned in the dual pathways, which are later joint to form a powerful representation in subsequent layers. Comprehensive experiments on the publicly available datasets confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.

An abdominal CT liver tumor segmentation algorithm based on three-channel cascade SEU-Nets and C-LSTM is proposed in this paper. Concerning the accuracy of most known algorithms is limited by using single-phase CT images, the proposed method takes advantage of the different characteristics of the lesion area in the venous phase, arterial phase and delayed phase, and the correlation between slices in enhanced CT images. It uses three-channel SEU-Nets as the encoder to extract image features of slices in three phases, and uses 3D convolution to extract the relationship between slices for the same location at different phases. And then it uses C-LSTM to extract the inter-slice sequence feature relationship. Finally, the decoder outputs fine segmentation of liver tumor output. 40 sets of high-quality abdominal-enhanced CT images of the liver and liver tumors used in the experiment were collected in the provincial central hospital and annotated by experts. Comparisons are carried out with well-known methods, such as improved CFCNs, H-DenseUNet network and DBAs-based multi-scale DC-CUNets segmentation network. Experimental results show that the average segmentation accuracy of proposed algorithm is 7.04% higher than that of the multi-scale DC-CUNets segmentation network based on DBAs, and the DICE coefficient is improved by 4.89%. © 2021 IEEE.

According to the heterogeneous characteristics of wireless mesh networks and the QoS requirements of multimedia applications, we design a novel QoS adaptive architecture for WMNs that is cross-domain, cross-layer and cross-node. Furthermore, this architecture is mathematically described by using a bi-level programming model. This model uses the optimization results of subnets as the optimization parameters or optimization constraints of backbone networks, and combines the features of different network domains. Based on this bi-level programming model, we propose an ant colony optimization based routing algorithm. Simulation results show that the bi-level programming model, which fully optimizes various QoS parameters of paths, can effectively adapt to the heterogeneous characteristics of WMNs so as to obtain the optimal path;the proposed routing algorithm, which has both advantages of low complexity and fast convergence speed, can converge to the theoretical optimal solution of bi-level programming model. © 2008 IEEE.

FEC-based multiple description coding (MDC) is an effective method for the transmission of scalable video stream over noisy network. However, given the transmission bandwith, it's time-consuming to find the optimal packet number and packet length as well as reasonably allocate bits between source coding and channel coding across the packets. In this paper, we state the optimal unequal error protection(UEP) as a two-level optimization problem and use a rate-optimal solution in initial step of searching. Then, we propose a new scheme, which combines the particle swarm optimization (PSO) with the local search(LS) algorithms, so that optimal solution can be found in more efficient way. Experimental results for the 3D set partitioning in hierarchical trees (SPIHT) coders show that the new algorithm provides close to optimal average peak signal-to-noise ratio performance and that its' running time is obviously lower than that of previously known algorithms.© 2011 IEEE.
