As a future energy system,the smart grid is designed to improve the efficiency of traditional power systems while providing more stable and reliable ***,this efficient and reliable service relies on collecting and analyzing users’electricity consumption data frequently,which induces various security and privacy *** address these challenges,we propose a double-blockchain assisted secure and anonymous data aggregation scheme for fog-enabled smart grid named ***,we design a three-tier architecture-based data aggregation framework by integrating fog computing and the blockchain,which provides strong support for achieving efficient and secure data collection in smart ***,we develop a secure and anonymous data aggregation mechanism with low computational overhead by jointly leveraging the Paillier encryption,batch aggregation signature and anonymous *** particular,the system achieves fine-grained data aggregation and provides effective support for power dispatching and price adjustment by the designed double-blockchain and two-level data ***,the superiority of the proposed scheme is illustrated by a series of security and computation cost analyses.

This paper presents a composable machine learning method for generalizing the quality-of-transmission (QoT) metric estimation in optical networks. The composable machine learning approach characterizes this metric for lightpaths of arbitrary lengths by compositions of launch, propagation and readout modules. Results verify the feasibility of the design and show its successful application in facilitating autonomous lightpath provisioning. © 2023 IEEE.

Translation efforts from natural language to code generation have achieved great success with large pre-trained language models. However, selecting the correct code output for the problem posed by the generated set of candidate codes is still challenging. In this paper, we address this problem by proposing an outcome-based quality-aware reordering method for code selection. This method scores each code by whether the set of candidate codes passes the test cases or not as a reference to select the top k best code outputs. In addition, this method depends on the quality and number of test cases. However, it is impractical to manually create a large number of test cases for each problem, so this paper adopts an automated approach that utilizes the current model to generate test cases for each problem. The experimental results show that the approach proposed in this paper obtains a significant improvement in the pass@k benchmark for each model, and the correctness and quality of test cases generated automatically using the model are discussed experimentally. Summarizing the experimental results and discussions, the result-based quality-aware reordering method proposed in this paper achieves a significant improvement in solving the problem of selecting the correct output from natural language to code generation, effectively improves the accuracy of evaluation by automating the generation of test cases, and provides an effective solution to improving the correctness of code generation.

Accurate and efficient channel modeling has always been a critical foundation for the deployment and application of 5G communication technology. To meet the requirements of continuous and extensive coverage in 5G, higher demands have been placed on wireless channel characteristics across various scenarios. However, the propagation of wireless signals over water may involve more complex reflection and scattering phenomena. Additionally, the presence of vegetation on water surface further complicates the channel modeling. Addressing these challenges, we assess relevant theories and representative signal attenuation models, and propose a channel model for complex water-based scenarios based on the open water channel model. To ascertain the precision of the proposed model, we establish an experimental platform and conduct measurements on the attenuation of signals across a water pool populated with various obstacles. The results demonstrate that the suggested model more accurately corresponds to the distinctive patterns of wireless signal attenuation encountered within complex water surface environments. © 2023 IEEE.

Solar noise as an innegligible interference in underwater wireless optical communication (UWOC) systems is a significant concern. But there are no studies on the Channel Impulse Response (CIR) in the presence of solar noise, and there are no functions available for fitting the CIR curve in this scenario. To address this problem, this paper employs Monte Carlo method to simulate the channel impulse response (CIR) of underwater optical communication systems with solar noise. Additionally, we propose a method that utilizes the composite exponential function (CEF) to fit the CIR curve of the turbid water under sunlight. We verify that the introduction of sunlight aggravates waveform broadening, and our newly proposed model has a better accuarcy of numerical fitting in turbid *** results lay the foundation for subsequent theoretical analysis of system performance. © 2023 IEEE.

In the field of deep learning-based medical image segmentation, convolutional neural networks (CNNs) extract image features by combining linear convolutional layers with nonlinear activation functions. However, excessive stacking of linear layers in the network limits the model’s ability to capture fine-grained details. In addition, the feature distribution imbalance caused by the traditional fixed grouping strategy (FGS) can affect the deep model’s capacity to perceive the overall structure of the image. To address these challenges, we propose a medical image segmentation framework, called Kolmogorov-Arnold Network with the adaptive group strategy and contextual Transformer based on Unet (KAC-Unet). First, we propose the adaptive group strategy (AGS) to balance the grouping of different input channels, alleviating the performance degradation caused by differences in group information. Then, we propose the Shift Tokenized Kolmogorov-Arnold Network (KAN) Block to capture complex features in medical images through flexible nonlinear transformations and shift operations. Extensive experiments are conducted on three medical image segmentation datasets. The results demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of our proposed method compared with state-of-the-art algorithms. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

UNet and its variants have widespread applications in medical image segmentation. However, the substantial number of parameters and computational complexity of these models make them less suitable for use in clinical settings with limited computational resources. To address this limitation, we propose a novel Lightweight Shift U-Net (LSU-Net). We integrate the Light Conv Block and the Tokenized Shift Block in a lightweight manner, combining them with a dynamic weight multi-loss design for efficient dynamic weight allocation. The Light Conv Block effectively captures features with a low parameter count by combining standard convolutions with depthwise separable convolutions. The Tokenized Shift Block optimizes feature representation by shifting and capturing deep features through a combination of the Spatial Shift Block and depthwise separable convolutions. Dynamic adjustment of the loss weights at each layer approaches the optimal solution and enhances training stability. We validated LSU-Net on the UWMGI and MSD Colon datasets, and experimental results demonstrate that LSU-Net outperforms most state-of-the-art segmentation architectures.

Aspect Sentiment Triplet Extraction (ASTE) has emerged as a pivotal task in sentiment analysis, focusing on extracting the aspect terms along with the corresponding opinion terms and the expressed sentiments. Recently, generative models have achieved significant success in ASTE task. However, existing generative approaches fail to further model the specific relations within the context for ASTE at the encoding phase, making it difficult to establish the nuanced connections between aspect and opinion terms. Additionally, these approaches rely on simple structured templates at the decoding phase to pair aspect terms with opinion terms, which fails to provide effective relation information for the decoding process. To address the aforementioned issues, we propose ReHyGen, a novel relational hypergraph enhanced framework designed to enhance the relational modeling capabilities of generative ASTE models during both the encoding and decoding phases. Specifically, ReHyGen comprises two core components: the Relational Hypergraph Enhanced Module (RHEM) and the Relational Prompt Module (RPM). RHEM leverages the hypergraph attention network and auxiliary relation classification to capture high-order word interactions and boundary-sensitive word pair relations. RPM incorporates relational information into the decoding phase by providing relation-aware prompts, guiding the generation of more accurate target sequences. Extensive experiments on benchmark datasets demonstrate that our proposed framework significantly improve the performance of generative ASTE models. © 2025

Cervical cancer is one of the most widespread malignancies affecting women’s health worldwide today. However, the task of detection is particularly difficult due to the complex background of the cervical smear, where cells are previously stacked in clusters. To address this problem, we utilize the YOLOv5 as the baseline and build on YOLOv5 by using the simple Transformer Block which only combines with multi-head self attention layers and MLP to better extract cell features as well as to obtain global information. In addition, we allow the model to refine features adaptively to assist with detection by using Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM), an attention module being simple and effective for feed-forward convolutional neural networks, in the complex background information. Finally, we compare the model with YOLOv5 as baseline. In CDetector dataset, our model obtains 52.5% mAP@.5, which is 6% better than baseline. In transfer learning, it is 62.2%, which outperforms baseline by 3.2%. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Event extraction is an important task in natural language processing, and it is widely utilized in intelligence domains such as business and military for information extraction. Recently, many works have successfully transformed document-level event extraction into Question-answering (QA) tasks with remarkable results. This approach embeds event argument information within the questions, introducing prior knowledge into the process. Jin et al. highlighted the importance of high-quality QA pairs for practical QA tasks, emphasizing that constructing these pairs remains a key challenge[1]. In this study, we propose a Prompt-based question generation method to automatically generate questions containing event arguments, which converts event extraction into a QA task. We introduce an event ontology-based information retrieval module to enhance answer accuracy and select the most relevant document segments as input text. Additionally, we employ knowledge distillation to build the QA model, transferring knowledge from a large pre-trained model to a more compact and efficient one, improving the student model's performance. Experiments show that our model performs strongly in mainstream benchmarks, with 4.8 improvements on WikiEvents.
