A trust information search model based on simulated annealing in P2P network

Trust information search algorithm is one of the most important components of P2P trust model. Considering the large number of nodes and the wide range of information each node contains in P2P network, efficient search algorithm can improve the network efficiency and attract more users to join P2P network. Moreover, efficient search algorithm can also let each node in the network know the current state of the network in time. This study designs an SABS (Simulated Annealing Based Search) model based on Simulated Annealing (SA) to search the trust information in P2P network. Simulation results show that this model can obtain the optimal path and the shortest distance of the network with appropriate parameter values. © 2013 Asian network for Scientific Information.

This paper presents the design of a Class A/B power amplifier (PA) for 2.4-2.4835GHz Wireless sensor network (WSN) system in 0.18μm CMOS technology. The PA adopts the single-stage differential structure and the output power of the PA can be controlled by switching the sizes of transistors. Seven different level of output power can be obtained through a three-bit control code. The tested results shows that the proposed PA achieves power added efficiency (PAE) of 26.73% while delivering an output power of 6.35dBm at 1dB compression point. Its power gain is 15.87dB. With a low DC voltage supply of 1V, its power consumption is 15.3mW. The PA die size is 1070×610μm2. © 2013 Universitas Ahmad Dahlan.

This paper proposes an adaptive sparsity-based direct position determination (DPD) appoach to locate multiple targets in the case of time-varying channels. The novel feature of this method is to dynamically adjust both the overcomplete basis and the sparse solution based on a two-step dictionary learning (DL) framework. The method first performs supervised offline DL by using the quadratic programming approach, and then the dictionary is continuously updated in an incremental fashion to adapt to the time-varying channel during the online stage. Furthermore, the method does not need the number of emitters a prior. Simulation results demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm on the location estimation accuracy.

Fairness-oriented physical layer network coding in cooperative multiple access channels due to MRC and SIC

This paper investigates the impacts of network coding （NC） on user fairness from the network perspective in multiple access channels. Firstly, simultaneous outage is exploited as the metric to evaluate user fairness. To optimize it, a fairness-oriented physical layer NC scheme is proposed, in which users＇ signals are superimposed in specific calculated proportion at relay and then decoded by maximal ratio combination （MRC） and serial interference cancellation （SIC） at destination. Furthermore, the influence of power allocation coefficient error on simultaneous outage is also analyzed to reveal its correlation with user fairness. Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme can supply approximately equal performance promotion for each cooperation-participated user and outperform those without fairness consideration in terms of the employed metric.

This paper presents a low noise amplifier（LNA）,which could work at an ultra-low voltage of 0.5 V and was optimized for WSN application using 0.13μm RF-CMOS *** circuit was analyzed and a new optimization method for a folded cascode LNA was *** results of the proposed circuit demonstrated a power gain of 14.13 dB,consuming 3 mW DC power,showing 1.96 dB NF and an input 1-dB compression point of -19.9 *** input power matching（S_（11）） and output power matching（S_（22）） were below -10 *** results indicate that this LNA is fully applicable to low voltage and low power applications.

This paper presents a differential low power low noise amplifier designed for the wireless sensor network （WSN） in a TSMC 0.18μm RF CMOS process.A two-stage cross-coupling cascaded common-gate（CG） topology has been designed as the *** first stage is a capacitive cross-coupling *** can reduce the power and noise *** second stage is a positive feedback cross-coupling topology,used to set up a negative resistance to enhance the equivalent Q factor of the inductor at the load to improve the gain of the LNA.A differential inductor has been designed as the load to achieve reasonable *** inductor has been simulated by the means of momentum electromagnetic simulation in ADS.A ＂double-π＂ circuit model has been built as the inductor model by iteration in *** inductor has been fabricated separately to verify the model. The LNA has been fabricated and *** LNA works well centered at 2.44 *** measured gain S_（21） is variable with high gain at 16.8 dB and low gain at 1 *** NF（noise figure） at high gain mode is 3.6 dB,the input referenced 1 dB compression point（IP1dB） is about -8 dBm and the IIP3 is 2 dBm at low gain *** LNA consumes about 1.2 mA current from 1.8 V power supply.

In many applications of Wireless sensor networks, it is crucial to know the location of sensor nodes. The distribution of the sensor nodes in many scenes is not uniform. However, it is impossible to equip all nodes with GPS receivers or configure the location for each node manually. Thus many localization methods have been proposed, such as the classical multi-dimensional scaling(MDS) localization algorithm. However, it has a low accuracy in large scale of sensor network with a lot of nodes. Thus, a random diffusion distributed localization algorithm is proposed in this paper. Results of simulations show that all the nodes can find their positions in 15 rounds when the network has 200 nodes in a square network. The localization algorithm has less running time, and provides a lower complexity than the classical MDS algorithm. The precision of this localization technique is restricted by the number of anchor nodes, communication radius of sensor node and the connectivity of network.

One of the key issues for radio resources management is network selection strategy in heterogeneous scenarios. In order to provide ubiquitous service, the paper puts forward a network selection algorithm based on multiple attribute decision making （MADM） and group decision making （GDM）. Firstly, the proposed algorithm acquires attribute weights＇ vectors of the subjective and objective decision makers based on MADM, and then the two attribute weights＇ vectors are synthesized to be a new attribute weights＇ vector by using GDM. Considering that the results of GDM should be reasonable and convincible, the criterion of consistency is adopted for judging the compatibility of group judgments. More specit]cally, the algorithm takes into account not only objective attributes of networks but also the preference of subscribers and traft]c class Hence it guarantees that the subscribers can not select the networks with poor performance depending on their preference. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the handoff number and provide subscribers with satisfactory quality of service （QoS）.

Several asynchronous duty cycle MAC protocols have been proposed for low power in the wireless sensor networks. However, these proposed MACs pay little attention on the performance degradation in many-to-one communications which is the most common traffic pattern in wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we propose AB-MAC, an appointment based MAC protocol to overcome the effect of channel contention of multiple senders. In AB-MAC, a fusion appointment scheme is proposed to enable scheduled batch transmission for multiple senders with low overhead. This scheme improves the transmission efficiency of the current asynchronous MACs in many-to-one traffic pattern. The experimental results show that, comparing to X-MAC which is a leading asynchronous MAC, AB-MAC can achieve better performance in terms of throughput, latency and energy efficiency. © 2012 IEEE.

Hash chain mechanism has been widely used into a variety of encryption applications and services. The introduction of renewable Hash chain overcomes resource-constrained defect in traditional Hash chains, but many current renewable schemes still hold unsatisfactory performance especially on security and complexity. This paper proposed a novel self-renewable Hash chain construction scheme based on Ito-Saito-Nishizeki secret sharing scheme (SSS). It has proved that the proposed Hash chain scheme has higher security and less consumption of communication, computation and memory than the typical schemes proposed in the existing literatures. © 2012 The Journal of China Universities of Posts and Telecommunications.
