Exploring Si/Mg Composite Supported Ziegler-Natta Ti-based Catalysts for Propylene Polymerization

A series of（SiO2/MgO/ID/MgCl2）·TiClx Ziegler-Natta catalysts for propylene polymerization has been prepared with a new method. These catalysts were synthesized using soluble Mg-compounds as the Mg-source and the preparation progress was relatively simple. The catalyst could copy the spherical shape of the carrier very well. The propylene polymerization results showed that the catalyst revealed the best activity with 9,9-di（methoxymethyl）fluorene（BMMF） as internal donor at 50 °C with the optimal molar ratio Al/Ti = 5, which was much lower than what the industrial polypropylene catalyst used（at least molar ratio Al/Ti = 100）, resulting in great cost saving. Additionally, the polymerization kinetics of the catalyst exhibited very stable property after achieving a relatively high value. These catalysts possessed rather high activity and good hydrogen response. The isotactic index（Ⅱ.） value of the PP products could be higher than 98% in the presence of both internal and external electron donors. Moreover, temperature rising elution fractionation method was used to understand the influence of donors and H2 on the properties of the PP products.

For the upcoming China Ⅵ gasoline standard with much more strictly controlled properties, and high requirements for blending efficiency, a blending process and coordinated optimization algorithm for blending multiple brands of gasoline at the same time were developed. Octane number model, vapor pressure model, density model, distillation range model and content attribute model were established. The calculation process of octane number model and distillation range model have been improved, and 12 quality indicators of gasoline can be precisely monitored during the blending process. Considering the actual accumulative blending process, the properties of gasoline in the tank during the blending process should be converted into instantaneous properties zone at the blending head. The optimized properties of the blending head are used to compensate the properties deviation of the amount of blending and the tank bottom oil. Meanwhile, a reasonable and efficient coordination optimization algorithm is used to coordinate the upper limit of the common component oil, which solves the problem of scramble for the common component oil flow in the double blending head in the blending process. The simulation results show that the design method can be applied to the gasoline blending of double head in the field, and can also provide technical support for the upgrading of gasoline blending process under the China Ⅵ gasoline standard. © 2019, Editorial Office of Acta Petrolei Sinica(Petroleum Processing Section). In this paper, we study two-player evolutionary prisoner's dilemma on regular graphs and identify the stochastically stable equilibria for infinite populations. We consider four different update rules: Birth-death(BD), death-birth(DB), imitation(IM) and pairwise comparison(PC). With the same values of cost and benefit of cooperation, we show that there is a unique stochastically stable equilibrium for evolutionary prisoner's dilemma on regular graphs. If the benefit-to-cost ratio is larger than k + 2 (k is the degree of a regular graph), the networked game has a higher fraction of cooperators than that for a well-mixed population. Under certain conditions, the lower graph connectivity can lead to the emergence of more cooperators. Besides theoretical analysis, we demonstrate our results through numerical computations and simulations as well. © 2018 IEEE.

In this paper, we study a robust disturbance attenuation problem that arises when applying the Artstein–Kwon–Pearson reduction transformation for a class of uncertain Lipschitz nonlinear systems with input delay and external disturbances. A conventional predictor-based feedback controller is adopted with the control gain matrix carefully identified by solving a couple of sufficient conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals are constructed to guarantee that the robust disturbance attenuation problem can be solved by the proposed controller. A numerical example is included to validate the performance of the proposed controller. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Specific index-related process monitoring covers a wide range of requirements from industrial production. At present, it is still a challenge to divide into the specific index-related information and the specific index-unrelated information more accurately. In this paper, a two-step information extraction method is presented to solve this problem. In the first step, the overall process variables are separated into a strongly related variable set and a weakly related variable set. In the second step, the two sets are further divided into a specific index-related subset and a specific index-unrelated subset, respectively. Two specific index-related subsets form a new subspace related to the specific index. Two specific index-unrelated subsets are combined into a specific index-unrelated subspace. Two 2 T statistics are built in the specific index-related subspace and the specific index-unrelated subspace, respectively. Finally, the proposed method is applied for Tennessee Eastman(TE). The results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper studies semi-global containment control problem for a multi-agent system. Each follower agent in the system is described by a general linear system in the presence of both actuator position and rate saturation. A linear state feedback containment control law is constructed for each follower agent by using low gain approach such that the states of all follower agents will converge to the convex hull formed by the leader agents asymptotically when the communication topology among follower agents is a connected undirect graph and each leader agent is a neighbor of at least one follower agent. Simulation results illustrate the theoretical results.

In this paper, we consider the security problem of public opinions when it has terrorists who try to guide people's opinions to malicious ones in social network. First, we propose an opinion dynamics model, which is composed by the suspects, the defenders and the masses. In this model, a set of suspects influenced by the terrorists at the beginning send malicious opinions to their neighbors. Similarly, the defenders spread the government's opinion to resist people's opinions following that of terrorists. Second, we consider the random communication among neighbours, where people can not interact with each other every time. At the last, we provide a sufficient condition to ensure the convergence of the expected opinions of the system. Finally, we provide some numerical examples to illustrate all the derived results.

Probabilistic model has already been widely used for process monitoring. However, the obtained factors may contain quality-unrelated information, which is harmful to the quality-related process monitoring. Meanwhile, considering the situation of unequal sample rates of process and quality variables, a semi-supervised orthogonal factor analysis(Semi-SOFA) model is presented, further, to improve robustness, Semi-SOFA is extended to weighted form(WSemi-SOFA). This paper performs orthogonal decomposition on the obtained factors, which divides them into two parts: quality-related one and quality-unrelated one. Based on it, the corresponding T statistics are designed to offer quality-related process monitoring, respectively. Besides, SPE statistics are constructed as supplement to monitor residuals. For effectiveness demonstration of the proposed method, TE benchmark is utilized.

In this paper, a velocity adaptive shuffled frog leaping bat algorithm(VASFLBA) is proposed to solve the problem that the bat algorithm(BA) is easy to fall into local optimum and a lack of deep local search ability. Firstly, the influence of the current stochastic local optimal solution on the search of the algorithm is considered. Two adaptive proportional regulation factors are introduced to balance global and local search. Then, the locally deep search ability is enhanced by using the meme transfer mechanism of shuffled frog leaping algorithm(SFLA). In addition, stochastic population competition is introduced to improve the global search ability and when the algorithm trapped in the local optimum, differential mutation operation is performed on the current global optimal bat so that the algorithm can jump out of the local optimum. The superiority of VASFLBA is verified by benchmark test functions. On this basis, VASFLBA is used to optimize the parameters of support vector machine(SVM) in intrusion detection of industrial control system(ICS), and the standard dataset for ICS intrusion detection is used for simulation. The results show that, compared with BA, SFLA and other algorithms, VASFLBA can better solve the problem of SVM parameters selection.
