This research article considers the design of static output-feedback sliding mode control for Markovian jump systems,in which the attacker may inject false information into the communication channel between the controller and the *** key issue is how to design the feasible sliding mode control law to overcome the effects of unknown and time-varying *** this end,an on-line estimation scheme is introduced to deal with the unknown network attack *** then,a linear sliding surface is constructed based on the measured output information and an outputfeedback sliding mode controller is correspondingly *** is shown that the reachability of the specified sliding surface can be achieved and the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system can be ensured under the derived sufficient ***,simulation examples are provided to verify the developed static output-feedback sliding mode control strategy.

This study concentrates on solving the output consensus problem for a class of heterogeneous uncertain nonstrict-feedback nonlinear multi-agent systems under switching-directed communication topologies,in which all followers are subjected to multi-type input constraints such as unknown asymmetric saturation,unknown dead-zone and their integration.A unified representation is presented to overcome the difficulties originating from multi-agent input ***,the uncertain system functions in a non-lower triangular form and the interaction terms among agents are dealt with by exploiting the fuzzy logic systems and their special ***,by introducing a nonlinear filter to alleviate the problem of“explosion of complexity”during the backstepping design,a distributed common adaptive control protocol is proposed to ensure that the synchronization errors converge to a small neighborhood of the origin despite the existence of multiple input constraints and arbitrary switching communication *** stability analysis and simulation results are conducted to show the effectiveness and performance of the proposed control methodology.

In this paper,a radial basis function neural network(RBFNN) based active disturbance rejection control(ADRC)scheme is proposed for continuous-time systems with unknown nonlinear dynamics and time-varying *** using RBFNN to online approximate the unknown nonlinear dynamics,a novel nonlinear extended state observer(ESO) is firstly designed to estimate the total disturbance consisting of time-varying external disturbance and RBFNN approximation ***,an anti-disturbance feedback control law together with a tracking differentiator is designed to counteract the total disturbance in a feedforward *** bounded convergence of the closed-loop system and ESO as well as the estimation errors of the weighting vector are rigorously analyzed based on the Lyapunov stability theory.A case study is carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness and merit of the proposed design,in contrast to the conventional ADRC.

Corrosion Resistance of Cu-Fe Deformation in Situ Alloy in Chloride Ion Environment

To assess the corrosion resistance of Cu-Fe deformation in situ alloys in a chloride ion environment, Cu-Fe alloys with varying Fe contents (5 wt.%, 10 wt.%, and 14 wt.%) were prepared using vacuum induction melting, and the impact of Fe content on the corrosion resistance was examined. The corrosion morphology and corrosion products were analyzed, and the corrosion rate, corrosion period, dynamic potential polarization curves, electrochemical parameters, and electrochemical impedance spectra with different Fe contents were determined. However, the corrosion resistance of Cu-Fe alloys initially increased with an increase in Fe content before decreasing, with Cu-10 wt.% Fe alloys (95% reduction rate) exhibiting the best corrosion resistance. As the Fe content increased, the amount of primary phase Fe dendrites gradually increased and became more densely distributed. This led to an increase in the dense oxide film on the surface, thereby enhancing the corrosion resistance of the material. Moreover, with a further increase in Fe, the Fe dendrites exhibited coarsening and non-uniform distribution. This resulted in the oxide film becoming looser, leading to a decreased corrosion resistance of the alloy. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Human societies and natural environments form a complex ecological system,in which human activities can change the ecological environment,the changes in the ecological environment can influence human social activities in *** paper introduces a punitive mechanism as environmental feedback into co-evolutionary systems,and proposes a replicator dynamic model which aims to explain the evolutionary strategies adopted by populations for the multiplayer snowdrift *** obtain the necessary and sufficient condition for the existence and stability of the internal equilibrium point by studying on the Jacobian matrix,and the effectiveness of the theoretical results is examined by numerical *** identify that the threshold parameter in multiplayer snowdrift games determines the evolution of the closed-loop ***,the system exhibits limit cycles when the threshold is small *** the threshold increases,the system converges to a stable internal equilibrium ***,if the threshold reaches a sufficiently large value,the proportion of cooperators in the population is high,while the group of punishers becomes extinct,indicating the loss of environmental feedback.

Causal reasoning in typical computer vision tasks

Deep learning has revolutionized the field of artificial intelligence. Based on the statistical correlations uncovered by deep learning-based methods, computer vision has contributed to tremendous growth in areas like autonomous driving and robotics. Despite being the basis of deep learning, such correlation is not stable and is susceptible to uncontrolled factors. In the absence of the guidance of prior knowledge, statistical correlations can easily turn into spurious correlations and cause confounders. As a result, researchers are now trying to enhance deep learning methods with causal theory. Causal theory models the intrinsic causal structure unaffected by data bias and is effective in avoiding spurious correlations. This paper aims to comprehensively review the existing causal methods in typical vision and vision-language tasks such as semantic segmentation, object detection, and image captioning. The advantages of causality and the approaches for building causal paradigms will be summarized. Future roadmaps are also proposed, including facilitating the development of causal theory and its application in other complex scenes and systems. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. Monocular depth estimation based on deep learning: An overview

Depth information is important for autonomous systems to perceive environments and estimate their own state. Traditional depth estimation methods, like structure from motion and stereo vision matching, are built on feature correspondences of multiple viewpoints. Meanwhile, the predicted depth maps are sparse. Inferring depth information from a single image(monocular depth estimation) is an ill-posed problem. With the rapid development of deep neural networks, monocular depth estimation based on deep learning has been widely studied recently and achieved promising performance in accuracy. Meanwhile, dense depth maps are estimated from single images by deep neural networks in an end-to-end manner. In order to improve the accuracy of depth estimation, different kinds of network frameworks, loss functions and training strategies are proposed subsequently. Therefore, we survey the current monocular depth estimation methods based on deep learning in this review. Initially, we conclude several widely used datasets and evaluation indicators in deep learning-based depth estimation. Furthermore, we review some representative existing methods according to different training manners: supervised, unsupervised and semi-supervised. Finally, we discuss the challenges and provide some ideas for future researches in monocular depth estimation.

Nasal drug delivery efficiency is highly dependent on the position in which the drug is deposited in the nasal ***,no reliable method is currently available to assess its impact on delivery *** this study,a biomimetic nasal model based on three-dimensional(3D)reconstruction and three-dimensional printing(3DP)technology was developed for visualizing the deposition of drug powders in the nasal *** results showed significant differences in cavity area and volume and powder distribution in the anterior part of the biomimetic nasal model of Chinese males and *** nasal cavity model was modified with dimethicone and validated to be suitable for the deposition *** experimental device produced the most satisfactory results with five spray ***,particle sizes and spray angles were found to significantly affect the experimental device’s performance and alter drug distribution,***,mometasone furoate(MF)nasal spray(NS)distribution patterns were investigated in a goat nasal cavity model and three male goat noses,confirming the in vitro and in vivo *** conclusion,the developed human nasal structure biomimetic device has the potential to be a valuable tool for assessing nasal drug delivery system deposition and distribution.
