Aiming at the incompatibility of the existing protection method for the measurement of the ground insulation state under the combined grounding method of the generator stator neutral point (resistance parallel reactor on the secondary side of the grounding transformer), an injection-type monitoring method of insulation state of generator stator to ground in neutral point combined grounding mode is proposed in this paper. By connecting the variable frequency power injecting AC variable frequency signal supplied to the secondary side of the arc suppression coil reactor at the neutral point of the generator, it can search the resonance frequency of stator inductance and capacitance, and calculate the insulation state caused by the insulation damage of stator winding. So it can achieve the purpose that generator stator's insulation state can be real-time monitored. Through modeling and analysis in PSCAD/EMTDC, this method can be adapted to the measurement of the ground insulation state under the combined grounding mode of the generator stator neutral point and obtain the size of the excessive resistance. © 2020 IEEE.

Natural aquifers typically exhibit hydrogeological heterogeneity and generally comprise layers or lenses of different media in the subsurface environment. When injecting remediation agent into contaminated heterogeneous aquifer, the agent suffered from severe bypassing, making it difficult to reach areas with low-permeability. Therefore, a new mode of injecting the remediation agent into the lens was proposed and investigated. In this paper, a 2D simulation tank was used. When injecting the remediation agent into the aquifer, the maximum sweep efficiency in the low-permeability lens was only 2.7 % as the permeability coefficient ratio between background and lens was 14. The concentration breakthrough curves of the remediation agent in groundwater showed a bimodal distribution when the remediation agent was injected from the low-permeability zone. The transportation of the remediation agent in the background medium was represented by the higher first peak and in the lens medium was represented by the lower second peak. The impact of interfacial effects in heterogeneous aquifers containing lenses was elucidated. Transport parameters for non-Fickian behavior were analyzed. Additionally, the sweep efficiency of the remediation agent in the lens increased by nearly 20 times. The removal rates of phenol in both the background and the lens reached more than 90 % after 72 h. The studies had improved the remediation effect of heterogeneous aquifer contamination, enhanced the delivery of remediation agent in low-permeability zones, solved the bypassing problem in high-permeability zones, and provided directions for the implementation of effective remediation strategies.

MSC Codes 81-10We propose a scheme that can generate tunable magnomechanically induced amplification in a double-cavity parity-time-(PT -) symmetric-like magnomechanical system under a strong control and weak probe field. The system consists of a ferromagnetic-material yttrium iron garnet (YIG) sphere placed in a passive microwave cavity which is connected with another active cavity. We reveal that ideally induced amplification of the microwave probe signal may reach the maximum value 106 when cavity-cavity, cavity-magnon and magnomechanical coupling strengths are nonzero simultaneously. The phenomenon might have potential applications in the field of quantum information processing and quantum optical devices. Besides, we also find the phenomena of slow-light propagation. In this case, group speed delay of the light can achieve 3.5 × 10−5s, which can enhance some nonlinear effect. Moreover, due to the relatively flat dispersion curve, the proposal may be applied to sensitive optical switches, which plays an important role in storing photons and quantum optical chips. Under the background that countries all over the world constantly advocate energy conservation and emission reduction and seek to deepen the reform of power systems and introduce new energy trading policies, this study constructed a carbon-oriented local integrated energy system multi-energy coupling market architecture. This construct was aimed at problems that current multi-energy coupling market research has not considered, including multi-energy substitution characteristics and carbon emission factors. First, taking the local integrated energy system as the main physical architecture, a multi-energy coupling market architecture was constructed combining the main market participants of different energy subsystems. Second, a model of the subsystem markets in the energy coupling market, and the joint clearing method were proposed. Finally, the guiding role of the energy coupling market was analyzed by simulation for reasonable pricing and carbon emission reductions of different energy market operators.

The combination of photovoltaic (PV) power generation and voltage source converter-based high voltage direct current (VSC-HVDC) system is one of the development directions of new energy power generation and its power transmission in the future. Power grid failure or maintenance will lead to power outage. In order to reduce the economic loss caused by this, the PV-VSC-HVDC coordinated control system is used to continuously supply power to loads in island state to maintain its normal operation. By analyzing the mechanism and cause of the islanding effect, a coordinated control strategy suitable to PV-VSC-HVDC system is proposed. Finally, a PV-VSC-HVDC grid-connected system was built based on Matlab/Simulink, and a detailed simulation analysis of the operating characteristics of the system is made. The simulation results show that this control strategy can realize the smooth switch from grid-connected state to island state, ensuring the stable operation of the loads and reducing the economic loss caused by power failure.

Generator insulation faults account for a high proportion of generator faults. It is difficult to meet the requirements of fast and accurate real-time monitoring of generator stator insulation state. In this paper, the on-line monitoring method of generator stator winding insulation state based on resonance measurement is proposed. By injecting zero-sequence current with constant amplitude and frequency variation into arc suppression coil, the phase angle difference between zero-sequence voltage of stator winding neutral point and injection current is monitored in real time, the resonance frequency of zero-sequence circuit is searched, the capacitance current and leakage resistance current of generator to ground are calculated, and the insulation state of generator stator winding is measured online. Considering the influence of damping resistance and excitation branch of voltage transformer, the accuracy of on-line insulation monitoring is improved. Through PSCAD/EMTDC simulation analysis, the method is not affected by arc suppression coil damping resistance and generator operation mode, which can effectively overcome the interference of excitation branch of voltage transformer to measurement, and meet the requirement of accurate on-line real-time monitoring of generator stator windings. It has certain engineering application value. © 2019 IEEE.

Most of the methods currently used to evaluate the reliability of integrated energy supply mainly consider such systems on a microgrid scale and focus on the effects of interactions among various energy carriers on the overall energy supply reliability of the system. As a result, it is difficult to analyze the system reliability in terms of its topology. Therefore, this paper proposes an approach for evaluating the reliability of a regional integrated energy system based on complex network theory. First, the feasibility of complex network theory application was analyzed based on the structural framework of the regional integrated energy system. Then, a weighted complex network model containing network characteristics was constructed by improving the “distance” parameter in the complex network theory. Employing this model enabled the proposal of reliability evaluation indices, including nodes and the entire system, from the perspective of the system network topology. Finally, the effectiveness and applicability of the developed method were verified by constructing a test system. The application of complex network theory for reliability evaluations of regional integrated energy systems described in this paper provides guidance for planning and constructing future systems at the level of topology reliability.

Inspired by cytoskeletal structures that respond sensitively to environmental changes and chemical inputs, we report a strategy to trigger and finely control the assembly of stimulus-responsive DNA nanostructures with light under isothermal conditions. The strategy is achieved via integrating an upstream light-controlled, toehold-mediated DNA strand displacement circuit with a downstream DNA tile self-assembly process. By rationally designing an upstream DNA strand module, we further transform the upstream DNA strand displacement circuit to an "AND gate" circuit to control the assembly of DNA nanostructures. This example represents the demonstration of the spatial and temporal assembly of DNA nanostructures using a noninvasive chemical input. Such a light-controlled DNA logic circuit not only adds a new element to the tool box of DNA nanotechnology but also inspires us to assemble complex and responsive nanostructures.

Inorganic perovskites are known for their excellent photothermal stability; however, the photothermal stability of all-inorganic n-i-p perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is compromised due to ion diffusion and free radical-induced degradation caused by the use of doped spiro-OMeTAD hole transport materials (HTMs). In this study, two isomeric donor–acceptor–donor (D–A–D) type small molecules, namely HBT and HiBT, were developed and used as dopant-free HTMs, using 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole or benzo[ d ][1,2,3]thiadiazole as acceptor moieties. The HiBT molecule, with its symmetry-breaking features, exhibits a large dipole moment, enhanced coordination-active sites, and a well-aligned energy level structure, all of which contribute to passivating perovskite surface defects and improving free charge separation. As a result, inorganic CsPbI 3 PSCs with HiBT HTM achieved an impressive power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 20.58%, the highest reported for dopant-free HTM-based inorganic PSCs. Moreover, the enhanced hydrophobic properties of HiBT molecules, coupled with their ability to passivate perovskite surface defects, contribute to significantly improved device stability. The unencapsulated devices based on HiBT HTM retained over 83% and 80% of their initial efficiency after being stored at 85 °C for 50 days and undergoing maximum power point (MPP) tracking at 85 °C for 1100 h, respectively. These results highlight that the symmetry-breaking strategy is an exceptionally effective approach for designing efficient, dopant-free small molecule HTMs, significantly contributing to both the high efficiency and enhanced stability of all-inorganic PSCs.
