A siamese network tracking algorithm based on hierarchical attention mechanism is proposed in this paper. In order to obtain more robust target tracking results, different layer features are fused effectively. In the process of extracting features, attention mechanism is used to recalibrate the feature map, and AdaBoost algorithm is used to weight the target feature map, which improves the reliability of the response map. Besides, the Inception module is also introduced which not only increases the width of the network and the adaptability of the siamese network to the scale, but also reduces the parameters and improves the speed of network training. Experimental results show that this method can effectively solve the impact of background clutter and improve the accuracy of tracking.

In this paper,a novel methodology is presented to settle the region of interest(ROI) detection problem in vehicle color recognition so as to remove the redundant components of vehicles that interfere greatly with color *** order to make full use of the local color and spatial information,vehicle images are divided into different superpixels at *** spatial relationship between superpixels and the outermost pixels is then used for the background removal of vehicle *** comparing with the vehicle window clustering centroids obtained by k-means,the superpixels close to the universal color characteristics of windows are removed so that the dominant color superpixels are ***,a linear Support Vector Machine classifier is trained for color *** experiments demonstrate that the proposed methodology is effective for color region of interest detection and thus contribute to vehicle color recognition.

Example-based face sketch synthesis technology generally requires face photo-sketch images with face alignment and size *** break through the limitation,we propose a global face sketch synthesis method:In training,all training photo-sketch patch pairs are collected together and a photo feature dictionary is learned from the photo *** each atom of the dictionary,its K closest photo-sketch patch pairs are clustered,namely "Anchored Neighborhood".In testing,for each test photo patch,we search its nearest photo patch in the Anchored Neighborhood determined by its closest atom,then the corresponding sketch patch is the *** the same way,we train and test in the high-frequency domain and synthesis the high-frequency ***,the fusion of the initial and the high-frequency results is the final *** experiments on three public face sketch datasets and various real-world photos demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.

In this paper, we investigate the physical-layer security of a spectrum-sharing aided satellite-terrestrial integrated network comprised of a pair of satellite system and terrestrial system, which can utilize the shared spectrum in the presence of an eavesdropper. We propose a specifically designed satellite scheduling scheme to guarantee wireless transmission of the satellite system against eavesdropping attacks in the face of co-channel interference generated by the terrestrial communication system, where the specifically designed satellite scheduling scheme is represented by multi-satellite scheduling (MSS). We analyze the security-reliability tradeoff (SRT) of the MSS scheme, where the security and the reliability are characterized by the intercept probability and the outage probability, respectively. For comparison purposes, we also provide the SRT analysis of the round-robin satellite scheduling (RSS) scheme. In addition, numerical SRT results demonstrate that the proposed MSS scheme significantly outperform the RSS scheme in terms of their SRT.

In this paper, we employ multiple wireless-powered relays to assist information transmission from a multi-antenna access point to a single-antenna receiver. The wireless relays can operate in either the passive mode via backscatter communications or the active mode via RF communications, depending on their channel conditions and energy states. We aim to maximize the overall throughput by jointly optimizing the access point’s beamforming and the relays’ radio modes and operating parameters. Due to the non-convex and combinatorial structure, we develop a novel optimization-driven hierarchical deep deterministic policy gradient (H-DDPG) approach to adapt the beamforming and relay strategies dynamically. The optimization-driven H-DDPG algorithm firstly decomposes the binary relay mode selection into the outer-loop deep Q-network (DQN) algorithm and then optimizes the continuous beamforming and relaying parameters by using the inner-loop DDPG algorithm. Secondly, to improve the learning efficiency, we integrate the model-based optimization into the DDPG framework by providing a better-informed target estimation for DNN training. Simulation results reveal that these two special designs ensure a more stable learning and achieve a higher reward performance, up to nearly 20%, compared to the conventional DDPG approach. In this paper, we investigate an energy cost minimization problem for a smart home in the absence of a building thermal dynamics model with the consideration of a comfortable temperature range. Due to the existence of model uncertainty, parameter uncertainty (e.g., renewable generation output, non-shiftable power demand, outdoor temperature, and electricity price) and temporally-coupled operational constraints, it is very challenging to determine the optimal energy management strategy for scheduling Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems and energy storage systems in the smart home. To address the challenge, we first formulate the above problem as a Markov decision process, and then propose an energy management strategy based on Deep Deterministic Policy Gradients (DDPG). It is worth mentioning that the proposed strategy does not require the prior knowledge of uncertain parameters and building thermal dynamics model. Simulation results based on real-world traces demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed strategy. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The separation of the control plane from the data plane has made the novel paradigm, Software-Defined networking (SDN), available in both small-scale and large-scale networks. Unlike small-scale networks with merely one controller for deployment, employing multiple controllers is essential to meet the requirements of reliability and scalability in Software- Defined WANs (SDWANs). However, the occurrence of the node or link failures in the control plane may severely deteriorate the system performance. Therefore, how to determine the number and locations of the distributed controllers in SDWANs for enhancing network reliability with propagation latency constraints worth in-depth study. In this paper, we formulate the controller placement problem in SDWANs mathematically and propose a heuristic algorithm with low computational complexity to address it. By incorporating the centroid-based network partition scheme, we further ameliorate the CPP for maximizing reliability with latency constraints. Experiments are performed on real network topologies to validate the effectiveness of our approach for controller placement problem in SDWANs.

We propose a three-party quantum secure direct communication(QSDC) protocol with hyperentanglement in both spatial-mode and polarization degrees of freedom. The secret message can be encoded independently with desired unitary operations in two degrees of freedom. In this protocol, a party can synchronously obtain the other two parties' messages. Compared with previous three-party QSDC protocols, our protocol has several advantages. First, the single photons in our protocol are only required to transmit for three times. This advantage makes this protocol simple and useful. Second, Alice and Bob can send different secret messages to Charlie, respectively. Finally, with hyperentanglement, this protocol has a higher information capacity than other protocols.

To date, only active-decoy-state methods have been adopted in current measurement-device-independent (MDI) quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols, causing security loopholes when modulating multiple light intensities with practical devices. To solve this problem, the passive-decoy-state method will be a good choice. Until today practical passive-decoy-state MDI QKD is still missing. In this paper, based on a recently discussed structure of heralded single-photon sources, we propose a passive-decoy-state MDI QKD protocol. In present work, one does not need to modulate light sources into different intensities, but utilizes the built-in local detection events to passively generate different decoy states. Furthermore, through carrying out an appropriate mathematical method, we are able to give very precise estimations for single-photon-pair contributions. As a result, our protocol can exhibit distinct advantages compared with state-of-the-art MDI QKD schemes even when the finite-key-size effect is taken into account. Therefore, our protocol seems a promising candidate to enhance both the security and performance of MDI QKD in practical implementation.

For unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assisted fog computing system, content caching is an effective way to reduce network delay. How to smartly sense the future requirement of the user equipment and cache the contents in advance is a big challenge. Meanwhile, the impact of cache content size and other related factors on cache performance are often overlooked, which results in low cache hit ratio. Therefore, this paper proposes a smart caching and caching replacement scheme based on valuation function of content caching for UAV-assisted fog computing network. Firstly, the effect of the content popularity, content size and available cache storage space on system performance is analysed. Then the valuation function combing these factors is defined. Based on the presented valuation function, a smart content caching and caching replacement scheme for UAV-assisted fog computing network is proposed. Finally, the simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. The scheme can be applied into the design the deployment of the UVA-assisted fog computing network.
