This paper aims to construct a game of admission and application behavior of a postgraduate program. It attempts to expand the decision of graduate school from one party model to two party model. It suggests that the interval of postgraduate program’s scholarship determines the decision made by applicants with different capacity and family background. Reading is important for students, but despite many efforts made to promote it, Chinese students generally do not spend much time reading. We believe the bottleneck lies in the difficulty of retaining students’ reading data, which makes it difficult for teachers and parents to know, manage, and guide students’ reading behaviors. Therefore, we establish a tripartite intelligent reading platform connecting schools, families, and students: schools assign reading tasks and give instructions on the platform;students "punch in" on the platform before and after the reading tasks;parents can get to check on their kids’ performance through the platform and also keep encouraging and supervising them to read. The platform has now been used in 110 schools in Guangzhou, and its significant effects are proved by large-scale survey statistics. Compared with traditional ways that aim at arousing students’ reading interest in the first place but are often eventually defeated by students’ massive compulsory homework under China’s educational system, our approach using mandatory methods is of great Chinese characteristics. In the beginning, the students might be "forced" to read by family-school collaboration. But gradually, external motivation would be transformed into internal motivation;students are becoming actively engaged in reading. In the future, based on the platform, Chinese governments and research institutes are preparing to establish large databases concerning reading and student’s development, which will hopefully make great contributions to educational decision-making and scientific research. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Recently, deep hashing methods play a pivotal role in image retrieval tasks by combining advanced convolutional neural networks(CNNs) with efficient hashing. Meanwhile, second-order representations of deep convolutional activations have been established to effectively improve network performance in various computer vision applications. In this work, to obtain more compact hash codes, we propose a supervised deep second-order covariance hashing(SDSo CH) method by combining deep hashing with second-order statistic model. SDSo CH utilizes a powerful covariance pooling to model the second-order statistics of convolutional features, which is naturally integrated into the existing point-wise hashing network in an end-to-end manner. The embedded covariance pooling operation well captures the interaction of convolutional features and produces global feature representations with more discriminant capability, leading to the more informative hash codes. Extensive experiments conducted on two benchmarks demonstrate that the proposed SDSoCH outperforms its first-order counterparts and achieves superior retrieval performance.

In view of the current situation of imperfect network construction of electric vehicle charging facilities, the establishment of a charging station radiation influence model provides reference value for charging network planning. First, a clear definition of the radiating influence range of the charging station was established, and the comprehensive capacity evaluation system of the charging station was established. Then, the factor analysis method was used to obtain the comprehensive factor of the charging station. Finally, the radiation radius of the charging station was solved according to the Wilson model. The simulation results revealed The relative size of the radiation capacity of a charging station in a certain area has laid a foundation for the future charging network layout and distribution network construction. © 2020 IEEE.

The intrinsic insulation and drastic volume change of the red phosphorus during the 3-electron alloying process greatly limits its widespread applications in sodium-ion batteries. Here, we report a monomicelle-directed assembly approach for controllable synthesis of monodispersed mesoporous polypyrrole (PPy) nanospheres, which allows for the shape-preserving conversion into N-doped carbon with regular mesoscopic pore and high surface area, thus affording a high dispersion of red phosphorus during melt impregnation process due to the available diffusion apertures and strong molecular chemical anchoring. Moreover, the theoretical calculations further revealed that positively polarized pyridine N atoms in N-doped mesoporous carbon nanospheres can empower comprehensive regulation of red phosphorus adsorption by strong chemical binding. Benefitting from the above advantages, the resultant red phosphorus host for sodium-ion batteries delivered an outstanding reversible capacity of 856 mAh/g with a capacity fading rate of only 0.025% per cycle during 1000 cycles at 1.0 A/g. This work provides an effective approach based on monomicelle-directed assembly engineering of carbon-based phosphorus hosts for advanced energy conversion and storage systems.

Wild fodder plants are valuable because they provide an important livestock feed resource globally,especially for smallholder farmers,and have important roles in natural resource ***-depth knowledge of wild forage plants can motivate local people for feed resource and habitat conservation of threatened herbivores such as Mithun(Bos frontalis).Mithun occur in small patches in the mountains of Dulongjiang,nearby villagers domesticated this animal but left animal to freely graze in the *** fodder plants occur in these mountains,however,little is known about their nutritional *** conducted an ethnobotanical survey to document important wild fodder plants consumed by mithun in the Dulongjiang *** nutritional content of 21 highly mentioned wild fodder plants in an ethnobotanical survey was *** analysis showed that Fagopyrum dibotrys were the fodder species with the highest crude protein(CP)content(26.89%),followed by Polygonum molle(21.88%)and Hydrangea longipes(21.12%).Synthesis of relative feed value index and grey relational grade,***,*** and Tetrastigma obtectum were ranked the top three nutritional *** was a significant difference between 21 species on their in vitro digestibility and the most highly digestible fodder species was Elatostema *** model analysis on relationship between frequency of citation of 21 wild forage plants by local farmers and their nutrient composition showed that the frequency was significantly positively correlated with the nutritional value of the feed(R2?0.28,P<0.05).We concluded that these species have high nutritional values to improve mithun production in integrated crop-livestock *** species or mixtures of species with useful nutritional characters could be cultivated to improve livestock productivity,habitat conservation including that of mithun and wild forage resource management.

The neural mechanisms of novelty detection, especially in relation to behavior, are currently poorly understood. Here, we present a protocol for recording neuronal activity in macaque auditory cortex during novelty detection tasks. We describe steps for behavioral training, surgical headpost implantation, MRI-based electrode targeting, and electrophysiological recording. These steps allow direct assessment of the correlation between novelty detection behavior and neuronal activity. This study explores the effects of organizational justice on employee deviance, analyzes why hotel employees engage in deviant behaviors, and provides solutions for hospitality organizations. Moreover, organizational commitment has been viewed as a mediating role between organizational justice and deviant behavior. A questionnaire survey research design was used to collect data, and a 375 dyad was sampled from hotel employees in Macau. A SEM analysis indicated that distributive justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice were negatively related to deviant behavior. Organizational commitment had a partial mediating effect in the relationship. In addition, implications and suggestions for future research are discussed.

One important challenge in psychiatric research is to translate findings from brain imaging research studies that identified brain alterations in patient groups into an accurate diagnosis at an early stage of illness,pre-diction of prognosis before treatment,and guidance for selection of effective treatments that target patient-relevant pathophysiological *** is the primary aim of the field of *** databases collected from large samples at multiple centers,sophisticated artificial intelligence(AI)algorithms may be used to develop clinically useful image analysis pipelines that can help physicians diagnose,predict,and make treatment *** this review,we selectively summarize psychoradiological research using magnetic reso-nance imaging of the brain to explore the neural mechanism of psychiatric disorders,and outline progress and the path forward for the combination of psychoradiology and AI for complementing clinical examinations in patients with psychiatric disorders,as well as limitations in the application of AI that should be considered in future translational research.
