The analytical algorithm of program quaternion is studied,aiming at the problem of the arbitrary spacecraft attitude-adjusting *** also provides the analytical constructor method of the program quaternion for any given initial quaternion and angle velocity,terminal quaternion and angle *** advantages of this method are as follows:(1)Good *** of the initial and terminal conditions are arbitrary;(2)Simple *** calculation process only involves the simple algebraic operation;(3)Easy to *** using the program quaternion model,the time consumption in the process of spacecraft attitude adjustment and the maximum angular velocity can be optimized *** to the Mathematical simulation results,the program quaternion tracking can be realized by a simple PD control law.

Fissures Segmentation Using Surface Features: Content-based Retrieval for Mammographic Mass Using Ensemble Classifier

Rationale and Objectives: Accurate classification is critical in mammography computer-aided diagnosis using content-based image retrieval approaches (CBIR CAD). The objectives of this study were to: 1) develop an accurate ensemble classifier based on domain knowledge and a robust feature selection method for CBIR CAD;2) propose three new features;and 3) assess the performance of the proposed method and new features by using a relatively large imaging data set. Materials and Methods: The data set used in this study consisted of 2114 regions of interest (ROI) extracted from a publicly available image database. The proposed ensemble classifier method we called E-DGA-KNN included four steps. In the first step, 804 ROIs depict masses were divided into five classes according to their boundary types. Then, each class of ROI with an equal number of negative ROIs were put together to create a sub-database. Second, a dual-stage genetic algorithm, which was called DGA, was applied on those five sub-databases for feature selection and weights determination respectively. In the third step, five base K-nearest neighbor (KNN) classifiers were created by using the results of the second step on 2114 ROIs, and five detection scores for a given queried ROI were obtained. Finally, these classifiers are combined to yield a final classification. The performances of the proposed methods were evaluated by using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis. A comparison with eight different methods on the data set was provided which include the stepwise linear discriminative analysis algorithm (SLDA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm with KNN classifier. Results: When four hybrid feature selection methods were applied with single KNN classifier (le, DGA-KNN, SLDA-WGA-KNN, SLDA-PSO-KNN, GA-PSO-KNN) and the proposed E-DGA-KNN method to the data set, the computed areas under the ROC curve (Az) were 0.8782 +/- 0.0080, 0.8675 +/- 0.0081, 0.8623 +/- 0.0083, 0.8725 +/- 0.0079, an

The general macroscopic examination of semen evaluation includes sperm density, concentration, motility and morphology. Among these general evaluations, the morphology assessment is widely considered to be one of the most important evaluations of male sperm characteristics. With the use of computer-assisted sperm analysis (CASA) techniques, more objective, accurate and precise outcomes of sperm morphology assessment can be obtained, comparing to manual methodology. In this article we will make a brief introduction to the common CASA techniques, commercial products and future work.

This paper proposed the a compressed sensing (CS)technique to ultrasound imaging and address the feasibility of compressive sensing theory for RF signal reconstruction in B-model medical ultrasound. with partial Fourier sampling, we compare different reconstruction algorithm to the simulation RF signal. reconstruction from 50% of the samples of original numerical cyst phantom show temperate information loss and feasibility of application CS in medical ultrasound.

Hair removal methods: A comparative study for dermoscopy images

Removal and restoration of hair and hair-like regions within skin lesion images is needed so features within lesions can be more effectively analyzed for benign lesions, cancerous lesions, and for cancer discrimination. This paper refers to "melanoma texture" as a rationale for supporting the need for the proposed hair detection and repair techniques, which incompletely represents why hair removal is an important operation for skin lesion analysis. A comparative study of the state-of-the-art hair-repaired methods with a novel algorithm is also proposed by morphological and fast marching schemes. The hair-repaired techniques are evaluated in terms of computational, performance and tumor-disturb patterns (TOP) aspects. The comparisons have been done among (i) linear interpolation, inpainting by (ii) nonlinear partial differential equation (PDE) and (iii) exemplar-based repairing techniques. The performance analysis of hair detection quality, was based on the evaluation of the hair detection error (HDE), quantified by statistical metrics and manually used to determine the hair lines from a dermatologist as the ground truth. The results are presented on a set of 100 dermoscopic images. For the two characteristics measured in the experiments the best method is the fast marching hair removal algorithm (HDE: 2.98%, TDP: 4.21%). This proposed algorithm repaired the texture of the melanoma, which becomes consistent with human vision. The comparisons results obtained, indicate that hair-repairing algorithm based on the fast marching method achieve an accurate result. (C) 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

In this paper, a nonlinear chaotic system is presented, which is derived from the chua's circuit with a memristor. This is a four-dimensional autonomous circuit which exhibits chaotic behavior. The chaotic system is demonstrated by Lyapunov exponent, and phase portraits. Furthermore, this system can be stabilized by a switched feedback controller which can be obtained by solving a set of LMIs. And the results will be demonstrated by the numerical simulation.

An Echo State Network (ESN) based predictive control method for aircraft system is proposed to increase the flight quality. Aero craft is a nonlinear and time-varying system and its controllers are usually designed by trajectory linearization method. Furthermore, the predictive controller is designed to adjust the current controlled variables by the trend of output to improve the quick responsiveness and traceability. Then, the stability of the system is proved by Lyapunov function. Finally, the numerical simulation results of step-response and attitude tracking illustrate the robustness and effect of the method.

The potential use of molecular computation in attacking the Data Encryption Standard (DES) is already known, but the used computing models are not autonomous and require many tedious laboratory steps to execute. In this paper, a description of attacking DES using tile self assembly models in Θ(1) distinct tile types is given theoretically. The computation takes advantage of tiles' autonomy and the characteristic of highly distributed parallel computation. Each assembly configuration yields the ciphertext in linear time with respect to the times of the round function included in DES. The feasibility of finding the main key of DES in tile assembly models has been discussed. Analysis indicates that the tile assembly models might succeed by using a little of DNA under low error rate.

The restoration quality of a motion-blurred image is highly dependent on the estimation accuracy of the motion blurring parameter. This manuscript presents a novel and precise method for estimation of the motion blurring length, wherein the ringing artifact amount of a deblurred image is measured by energy proportion contained in appropriate frequency bands, and a blurring length with minimum ringing artifact amount is taken as the optimal estimation of the true blurring length. Experimental results show good performance of the proposed algorithm in motion blurring length estimation.

Abstract Joint flexibility is an important factor to consider in the robot control design if high performance is expected for the robot manipulators. In this paper, we propose an adaptive tracking control method which can deal with the kinematics uncertainty and uncertainties in both link and actuator dynamics of the rigid-link flexible-joint (RLFJ) robot system. Adaptive observers are designed to avoid acceleration measurements due to the fourth-order overall system dynamics. Convergence of both end-effector tracking errors and observing errors are proven and sufficient conditions are presented to guarantee system's asymptotic stability.
