Equipment selection for industrial process usually requires the extensive participation of industrial experts and technologists, which causes a serious waste of resources. This work presents an equipment selection knowledge base system for industrial styrene process(S-ESKBS) based on the ontology technology. This structure includes a low-level knowledge base and a top-level interactive application. As the core part of the S-ESKBS, the low-level knowledge base consists of the equipment selection ontology library, equipment selection rule set and Pellet inference engine. The top-level interactive application is implemented using S-ESKBS, including the parsing storage layer, inference query layer and client application layer. Case studies for the industrial styrene process equipment selection of an analytical column and an alkylation reactor are demonstrated to show the characteristics and implementability of the S-ESKBS.

The target of this paper is studying the quasi-synchronization problems of the heterogeneous Lur'e networks with impulsive feedback control. By introducing impulsive feedback control, the heterogeneous Lur'e network is analyzed. The sufficient condition for guaranteeing quasi-synchronization is derived by means of linear matrix inequality(LMI), the Schur complement and the principle of comparison. More over, the upper bound of exponential quasi-synchronization errors is further calculated. Finally, the numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the control protocol and theoretical results.

This paper focuses on multi-agent systems with uncertain disturbances, in which only the bounding functions on the disturbances and the bounds on the initial state of each agent are known. By designing a neighborhood interval observer for this kind of multi-agent system, the estimation of the sum of the relative state of each agent associated with itself and its neighbors is frstly realized. Then, on the basis of these estimated information, local control algorithm is designed to drive the system to achieve bounded consensus.

Gaussian mixture model (GMM) monitoring method is commonly used for non-Gaussian process monitoring. In GMM monitoring method, the final number of Gaussian components and the statistical distribution parameters are estimated through the improved Figueiredo-Jain (F-J) algorithm in the modeling phase. However, the data dimensionality of modern industry is high, the number of initial Gaussian components is large for the accuracy of the algorithm. Under this condition, the relative small number of samplings makes the denominator in the weight estimation formula of the improved F-J algorithm become zero and the algorithm suspends. To make the algorithm work well in an acceptable modeling time, we deduce the Initial-Parameter-Criterion among initial Gaussian components, data dimension, sampling number and propose the Initial-Parameter-Criterion based GMM (IPC-GMM) monitoring method. The proposed monitoring method is used for TE process monitoring, simulation results reveal the effectiveness and necessity of IPC-GMM monitoring method.
