Aiming at the problem that the amplitude of load oscillation is not easy to control in the movement process of overhead crane, this paper designs a switching PID control method based on whale optimization algorithm(WOA) to improve the performance of position control and anti-swing control for overhead crane. WOA is used to better adjust the parameters of PID controllers. The switching control is realized by a switching module, which defaults to the output of the Position PID Controller to provide control force for the trolley. When the absolute value of the load swing angle fed back by the crane system exceeds the warning value, the switching module immediately blocks the output of the Position PID Controller, and uses the Angle PID Controller to determine the control force. In addition, through theoretical analysis and simulation experiments under different conditions, the results verify the effectiveness of the WOA based switching control in position control and anti-swing control for overhead crane. Improve the efficiency and safety of overhead crane in practical industrial applications. © 2023 technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Logistics vehicle and cargo matching problem is a typical combination optimization problem, which has important theoretical and application value in the field of logistics distribution. The proved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is one of the most extensive optimization methods studied in recent years, with excellent global search ability and convergence speed. Based on the IPSO algorithm, this paper proposes an effective IPSO algorithm model for the matching problem of logistics vehicles and goods, and conducts the corresponding comparative experiment. The final experimental results show that the algorithm has good results in practical application and can provide a feasible optimization method for solving the problem of logistics vehicles and goods. © 2023 technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

To enhance the security in the computational offloading process of Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) systems, this paper proposes a physical layer secure transmission scheme based on Intelligent Reflecting Surface (IRS) assistance. In this scheme, IRS is added to facilitate the task transfer between the user and the MEC server, while suppressing eavesdroppers from eavesdropping on user information, thus achieving a secure computing offload for the system. In order to maximize the safe transmission rate of the system, a flow-form optimization algorithm based on alternating optimization and conjugate gradient is designed to obtain the users transmit power as well as the phase shift of the IRS. Based on this, the computational offload rate of users and the computational resources of MEC servers are optimized by heuristic algorithms to minimize the computational offload delay of MEC systems while ensuring secure transmission. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can reduce the total computational offload delay while guaranteeing secure transmission of the MEC system compared with other benchmark schemes and traditional artificial noise assisted schemes.

With the advancement of 5G technology, user demand grows, resources become scarce and differentiated services place greater requirements on performance in slice-MEC system. However, optimizing works in the vast majority of existing research focus only on slice selection, resource orchestration, utility improvement from the perspective of users, without considering whole system's power consumption cost. Firstly, to get over this dilemma, a two-tier architectural model for slice-MEC system is proposed, which is mainly divided into the slice instance layer and infrastructure layer. Next, we establish the optimization problem of minimizing weighted power consumption cost while guaranteeing requirements of delay and rate, taking into account both communication and computational resources. Moreover, to solve the problem above, the HPCA-based resource management and computing offloading algorithm is designed. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed algorithm in this paper outperforms than benchmark algorithms and we also analyse the performance of the system by varying different parameter conditions.

The paper mainly studies how to better apply non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) to mobile edge computing (MEC) system under the condition of considering offload interruption, and adopts user collaboration(UC) and wireless power transfer (WPT) technology. First, two users use WPT to collect energy from the base station equipped with the MEC server. Then, to better increase the system capacity and performance, the near user acts as a relay to help the far user offload some of the tasks to the MEC server, using the NOMA protocol for both users. To obtain an energy-efficient MEC design, we first derive the outage probability for both users, then the offloading time allocation and power allocation are jointly designed to maximize the effective computational efficiency, which is a non-convex problem. To deal with the problem, we first transform it into a relaxation problem and then solve it using the sequential convex approximation (SCA) method. Finally, numerical results demonstrate that the proposed scheme introduces NOMA and UC into MEC simultaneously, which has better advantages compared with other schemes.

Target tracking is currently a hot research topic in Computer Vision and has a wide range of use in many research fields. However, due to factors such as occlusion, fast motion, blur and scale variation, tracking method still needs to be deeply studied. In this paper, we propose a block target tracking method based on multi-convolutional layer features and Kernel correlation filter. Our method divides the tracking process into two parts: target position estimation and target scale estimation. First, we block the target frame based on the condition number. Second, we extract the features by the convolutional layer and apply it to the kernel correlation filter to get the center position of different block targets. With the reliability of different blocks measured by the Barker coefficient, the overall target position center is obtained. Then, the affine transformation is adopted to achieve the scale adaptation. The algorithm in this paper is evaluated by the public video sequences in OTB-2013. Numerous experimental results demonstrate that the proposed tracking method can achieve target scale adaptation and effectively improve the tracking accuracy. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. This paper presents a joint parallel loop filtering algorithm based on multi-thread load balancing in HEVC decoding, which implements the parallel processing of deblocking filtering (DBF) and sample adaptive compensation (SAO). Because of the diversity of video, the texture of different regions in an image is also different, which leads to various CTU partition methods. Therefore, the number of the boundary to be filtered is greatly different, resulting the computation load among multiple threads unbalanced in parallel processing. To solve this problem, an area division scheme is proposed, which divides the image into multiple areas, and the number of boundaries to be filtered in each area is similar. Then, the mapping relationship table is used to allocate these areas to multiple threads for parallel processing, so as to achieve the load balancing among the filtering threads. Finally, the cache technology is used to combine DBF and SAO to reduce the delay between them and improve the overall parallelism of the loop filter. Experimental results show that the performance of the proposed load balancing joint filtering algorithm is 8.15% higher than the previous scheme. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. We consider an energy-efficient reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-aided multi-antenna decode-and-forward (DF) relay cooperative multiple input multiple output (MIMO). Although RIS and relay share some similarities in common, they have fundamental differences and can indeed complement each other. Due to the passive characteristic of RIS, it is much challenging to obtain the perfect channel state information (CSI) and the channel estimation error (CEE) is inevitable. Aiming to the robust energy efficiency (EE) optimization of the considered system with the norm-bounded CEE, we formulate the robust EE optimization problem where the precoding matrices at source and relay as well as the phase shifts of RIS are jointly optimized with the worst-case minimum-rate and total transmit power constraints. The original problem is firstly transformed into a deterministic problem with the help of S-procedure, then an alternating optimization (AO)-based Dinkelbach algorithm is applied to solve it. Numerical simulation results demonstrate the superiorities of the robust EE optimization compared with the non-robust scheme, and also show the validity and good convergency of the proposed algorithm. Furthermore, the results also illustrate the effects of various factors on the performance.

Electronic modulation on the inert basal plane of transition-metal dichalcogenides(TMDs)through vacancy defect excitation,although extremely challenging,is urgent for understanding the factors that impact the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalytic ***,ultrathin WS2 nanosheets with precise quantitative single atomic S-vacancy on the inert basal plane were flexible prepared through hydrogen peroxide etching *** as-synthesized single atomic S-vacancy defect WS2(SVD-WS2)nanoflake with the activated basal plane exhibited an impressive overpotential of 137 mV at a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) and a Tafel slope of 53.9 mV dec^(-1).Furthermore,anchoring on the defect graphene matrix,the assembled two-dimensional(2D)stacking heterojunction exhibits further enhanced HER catalytic activity(an overpotential of 108 mV vs.10 mA·cm^(-2) and a Tafel slope of 48.3 mV·dec^(-1))and stability(〜10%decline after 9,000 cycles),which attributed to the electronic structure modulation from the synergetic interactions between SVD-WS_(2) and defect *** finding provides a smart defects introduce strategy to trigger high-efficiency hydrogen evolution over WS_(2) nanosheets and a general 2D heterojunctions fabricated inspiration based on strong interaction interface.

Complete analysis of the maximally hyperentangled state via the weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity

We present a simple method for the complete analysis of maximally hyperentangled state in polarization and spatial-mode degrees of freedom assisted by the weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity. Our method not only can be used for two-photon hyperentangled Bell state analysis and three-photon hyperentangled Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state analysis, but also is suitable for N-photon hyperentangled GHZ state analysis. In our protocols, the bit information of hyperentanglement is read out via the nonlinear interaction, and the phase information is obtained by using linear optical element and single photon detector. This approach is achievable with the current technology, and will be useful for the practical high-capacity quantum communication schemes. © 2022, CC BY.
