A new scheme of object tracking with mean shift is put forward in this paper. At first, texture feature is fused in the processing by Local Ternary Pattern (LTP). Since LTP is sensitive to local noise, least median of squares (LMedS) algorithm is used to adaptively calculate the noise threshold for accurate estimation of the LTP texture information. Furthermore, target scale and orientation is estimated in case of partial occlusion or rotation, so as to realize robust object tracking. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can acquire robust tracking performance under complex background .

The main goal of data-aggregation algorithms in wirelesssensornetworks (WSNs) is to gather and aggregate data in an energy efficient manner so that network lifetime is enhanced. In this article, we focus on QoS-based data-aggregation problems in WSNs. Firstly, we provide a definition of the different QoS parameters for data aggregation, such as energy efficiency, network lifetime, data latency and data quality. Then, we compare the different algorithms on each QoS parameter, describe the main features of each algorithm, and highlight the trade-offs between each parameter. Finally, we conclude with possible future research directions on QoS-based data aggregation in WSNs.

The demand responsive pricing competition between two bounded rational service providers in a duopoly spectrum market is investigated. The network service providers buy the spectrum from the spectrum owner and then dynamically compete for secondary users in order to fully use the spectrum and maximize their profits. Dynamic spectrum access is employed. The underlying dynamic pricing strategy selections of the service providers are modeled as an evolutionary game with taking into account the secondary user's response to the price. Through replicator dynamics, the proposed evolutionary game algorithm is converging to the evolutionary stable strategy (ESS). Simulation results reveal that the proposed algorithm is convergent and can achieve ESS. The analytical results verify the stability and the validity of the proposed evolutionary game algorithm. In addition, it may provide some insights for the service providers in the next generation wirelessnetworks.
