Millimeter-wave MIMO will use hybrid precoding to improve the spectral efficiency. In this paper, we propose a spectral efficient hybrid precoding algorithm. In order to maximize the projection of hybrid precoding matrix on the optimal precoding matrix, we design the analog precoding matrix by selecting an optimal combination from the candidate matrix. Then, we regard the channel matrix and the obtained analog precoding matrix as an equivalent channel matrix, and use regularized zero-forcing to acquire the digital precoding matrix. Finally, we present simulation results of the proposed hybrid precoding algorithm and show that the algorithm approaches the optimal precoding. © 2020 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

The anomaly data is easily disturbed by malicious third party in the information sharing or transmission process. To guarantee the safety and integrity of outlier information, a novel method of outlier information privacy preserving is proposed, namely, spatial outlier information hiding algorithm based on complex transformation. Firstly, the anomaly dataset is obtained by outlier detection algorithm. Then the two-dimensional feature data of anomaly objects is selected to construct the complex data and complex factors. Finally, the outlier information is hidden by complex transformation. The receiver receives the hidden dataset and the complex factor set, in which the hidden data can be effectively restored. The feasibility and validity of this algorithm are verified by simulation and contrast experiment. © 2017, Springer International Publishing AG.

The aim of overlapping sound event detection (SED) is to detect the sound events classes contained and the corresponding time stamps in audio. In real life, the sound events contained in a piece of audio are usually very complicated, and various sound events overlap and alternate, which greatly increases the difficulty of overlapping SED. In our past research, we found that the attention mechanism can effectively cope with the mentioned difficulty, as long as its need for reinforcement training on a large amount of strongly labeled data is satisfied. However, strongly labeled data is usually not easy to obtain, so how to use weakly labeled data has become mainstream. Against this background, we propose a new overlapping SED method that can effectively utilize weakly labeled data through the use of the feature-level attention pooling strategy under the multiple-instance learning (MIL) framework. Moreover, a feature-level attention pooling strategy with different learnable parameters is studied and compared with a decision-level attention pooling strategy in our work, so the advantages of attention with a feature-level attention pooling strategy in overlapping SED can be better shown. We compare the classification results of overlapping SED using feature-level and decision-level attention pooling in the DCASE 2021 task 4 scenario (Sound Event Detection and Separation in Domestic Environments). Test results show that the PSDS1 (focus on the sensitiveness to the detection speed) of feature-level attention pooling is kept unchanged (it means the learnable parameters training does not burden the overlapping SED), but the PSDS2 (focus on the classification effect) is improved by 3%, which is slightly above the score generated from the decision-level attention pooling (it means feature-level attention pooling has better returns). A typical feature of weak relationship between the users and sellers emerges in social commerce. The seller's reputation is a key element to ensure smooth online transactions in this weak ties environment. This paper constructs a model which integrated Bayes rule and signaling model to analyses the key factors constraining reputation formation. First, to get the reputation constraint factors under separating equilibrium conditions by setting up a model based on the seller's reputation signal between sellers and users' dynamic game process;then, to establish computing model of the seller's reputation in social commerce according to Bayes' theorem;last, analyzing the meaning of constraints to reputation calculation. This research will provide theoretical guidance to reasonable setting of two key elements affecting the seller's reputation.

This paper proposes a strategy for deploying lightweight and miniaturized deep-learning algorithms on edge devices, aiming to solve the problems of poor accuracy in manual operations and high cost of traditional detection devices in tunnel lining void detection without relying on cloud-service conditions. By analyzing different voiceprint characteristics of knocking sounds, the Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) are used to extract key features of sound signals, and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Global Average Pooling (GAP) techniques are adopted for dimension-reduction processing to reduce data volume and computational resource requirements. On the GPU platform, multi-dimensional high-speed parallel training of the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is achieved. Using the RK3568 platform, edge-device deployment testing without relying on Internet-of-Things communication is finally realized. Experimental results show that when the MFCC dimension reaches 16 and above 20, the accuracy of the test set exceeds 96%, verifying the effectiveness and high-efficiency of this scheme. © 2024 IEEE.

The absorption and scattering are the main problems affecting high-speed data transmission in underwater visible light communication system (UVLC). To address these problems, we propose the imaging multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system for the underwater communication in this paper. Furthermore, the proposed system uses imaging lens to separate the light signal resulting in that decreasing disturbance of the proposed system is better than that of non-imaging MIMO. In this paper, aiming at the problem of high bit error rate (BER) caused by channel correlation in underwater imaging optical MIMO communication system, a precoding algorithm based on received signal Euclidean distance of imaging multiple input multiple output-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) is proposed. In order to maximize the minimum Euclidean distance of the received signal set, the precoding matrix is solved under the constraints of the non-negative optical signal and the total power. The system uses the precoding matrix to precode the signals and the receiver detects signals through the maximum likelihood algorithm with the channel matrix and the optimal precoding matrix. The simulation results show that the imaging MIMO system achieves 12 dB gain at the same bit error rate (BER) compared to non-imaging MIMO. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm based on received signal Euclidean distance achieves about 5 dB gain under the same channel compared to the SVD-based precoding algorithm in imaging MIMO system, it greatly improve the BER performance of the imaging optical MIMO-OFDM system in UVLC. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

A shaping technique using the actual feed(AF) to illuminate the reflector antenna is proposed, which is compared with the conventional simulated feed(SF) after optimizing the reflector antenna patterns. The corresponding reflector shape is transformed by the non-uniform rational Bspline method, and its scattering field is gotten through the physical optics and Gauss-Legendre quadrature algorithms(PO-GLQ). The consequent calculated patterns by means of the actual feed are closer to the measured far-field ones than simulated feed. © 2020 IEEE.

This paper introduces an innovative approach to Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) for Pakistani Urdu, employing the URDU dataset, a specialized resource in this domain, and utilizing Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (Bi-GRU) networks. Our study concentrates on the meticulous extraction and thorough analysis of crucial acoustic features from this dataset, including Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCCs), Gam-matone Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (GFCCs), and the ex-tended Geneva Minimalistic Acoustic Parameter Set (eGeMAPS). Our methodology integrates sophisticated feature engineering, normalization, and deploying advanced Bi-GRU architectures for deep learning models. A significant focus of our work is on model interpretability, achieved through SHAP (SHapley Additive exPlanations) analysis, which provides valuable insights into the contributions of different features to emotion recognition. The Bi-GRU model developed in this study demonstrates exceptional proficiency, achieving a peak validation accuracy of approximately 91 % in identifying emotions such as sadness, neutrality, happiness, and anger. This research underscores the effectiveness of Bi-GRU networks in SER, particularly in Urdu language processing, using the URDU dataset. Additionally, our work includes comprehensive validation through visualization techniques, error analysis, confusion matrices, and Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curves, reinforcing the model's robustness and reliability. This paper significantly advances the field of SER, especially for low-resource languages like Urdu, offering a foundational framework for future research and practical applications in emotionally intelligent human-computer interaction. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, we propose a decision feedback differential detection (DF-DD) solution for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system with angle differential quadrature amplitude modulation (ADQAM) scheme to reduce the inter-subcarrier interference (ICI) emerged in high mobility environments. Compared to the conventional differential detection (CDD), the proposed scheme can improve the system performance. A detailed performance investigation is made among the ADQAM-OFDM, DAPSK-OFDM, and coherent QAM-OFDM in addtive white Gaussian noise channels, multipath channels, and time-varying channels. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme is about 3 dB better than the conventional differential detection in high mobility environments. It is further suggested that ADQAM-OFDM technology is more suitable for high mobility environments. © 2019 ACM.
