In this paper, we develop a graph neural network (GNN)-assisted bilinear inference approach to enhance the receiver performance of the MIMO system through message passing-based joint channel estimation and data detection (JCD). Specifically, based on the bilinear generalized approximate message passing (BiG-AMP) framework and conditional correlation of signal, we propose a GNN-assisted BiG-AMP (GNN-BiGAMP) approach, which integrates a GNN module into the data-detection-loop to compensate the inaccurate marginal likelihood approximation. By leveraging the coupling between the channel and received symbols, a bilinear GNN-assisted BiG-AMP (BiGNN-BiGAMP) JCD receiver is further proposed. This method incorporates two GNNs with similar graph representation into the bilinear posterior estimation loops, which not only compensates for approximation errors but also alleviates performance loss due to premature variance convergence, thereby enhancing the receiver performance significantly. To fully exploit the supervised information from channel estimation and data detection, we propose a multitask learning based training scheme, which coordinates GNNs with different tasks in two loops. Simulation results show that our proposed GNN-assisted JCD receivers significantly outperform other JCD counterparts in terms of both channel estimation and data detection. © 2025 IEEE. Geological reports contain a wealth of information about geological entities, such as rocks and minerals, which are of great significance for resource exploration, environmental assessment, 3D geological modeling, and intelligent prospecting. However, existing methods and models (e.g., deep learning-based approaches) for geological named entity recognition (GNER) heavily rely on large manually annotated corpora. This process is time-consuming and labor-intensive, and it faces limitations when dealing with complex entities in geological reports, such as long or nested entities. To address this issue, this paper proposes a rock and mineral NER method based on prompt engineering and domain knowledge guidance. First, preliminary entity recognition is conducted through labeling rather than extraction, mitigating the problem of repetitive recognition of nested entities. Second, we summarize and categorize the types of errors made by large language models(LLMs), incorporating geological knowledge guidance for secondary recognition to reduce common mistakes. Finally, secondary category validation is used to alleviate the "hallucination" problem, where LLMs mistakenly identify non-entities as entities. This method requires only two examples as training samples to guide the model, significantly reducing the workload of corpus annotation. Experiments were conducted on multiple LLMs (e.g., GPT-4o-0513, GPT-4o-0806, and Claude 3.5 sonnet). The results show that on our self-constructed dataset, compared to direct entity extraction, the accuracy of rock and mineral recognition is improved by approximately 17 % and 11 %, respectively, validating the effectiveness of combining domain knowledge with LLMs for GNER. © 2025

Emotion recognition in conversation (ERC) aims at accurately identifying emotional states expressed in conversational content. Existing ERC methods, although relying on semantic understanding, often encounter challenges when confronted with incomplete or misleading semantic information. In addition, when dealing with the interaction between emotional and semantic information, existing methods are often difficult to effectively distinguish the complex relationship between the two, which affects the accuracy of emotion recognition. To address the problems of semantic misdirection and emotional cross-talk encountered by traditional models when confronted with complex conversational data, we propose a semantic and emotional dual channel (SEDC) strategy for emotion recognition in conversations to process emotional and semantic information independently. Under this strategy, emotion information provides an auxiliary recognition function when the semantics are unclear or lacking, enhancing the accuracy of the model. Our model consists of two modules: the emotion processing module accurately captures the emotional features of each utterance through contrastive learning, and then constructs a dialogue emotion propagation map to simulate the emotional information conveyed in the dialogue;the semantic processing module combines an external knowledge base to enhance the semantic expression of the dialogue through knowledge enhancement strategies. This divide-and-conquer approach allows us to more deeply analyze the emotional and semantic dimensions of complex dialogues. Experimental results on the IEMOCAP, EmoryNLP, MELD, and DailyDialog datasets show that our approach significantly outperforms existing techniques and effectively improves the accuracy of dialogue emotion recognition. FaceBench: A Multi-View Multi-Level Facial Attribute VQA Dataset for Benchmarking Face Perception MLLMs

Multimodal large language models (MLLMs) have demonstrated remarkable capabilities in various tasks. However, effectively evaluating these MLLMs on face perception remains largely unexplored. To address this gap, we introduce FaceBench, a dataset featuring hierarchical multi-view and multi-level attributes specifically designed to assess the comprehensive face perception abilities of MLLMs. Initially, we construct a hierarchical facial attribute structure, which encompasses five views with up to three levels of attributes, totaling over 210 attributes and 700 attribute values. Based on the structure, the proposed FaceBench consists of 49,919 visual question-answering (VQA) pairs for evaluation and 23,841 pairs for fine-tuning. Moreover, we further develop a robust face perception MLLM baseline, Face-LLaVA, by training with our proposed face VQA data. Extensive experiments on various mainstream MLLMs and Face-LLaVA are conducted to test their face perception ability, with results also compared against human performance. The results reveal that, the existing MLLMs are far from satisfactory in understanding the fine-grained facial attributes, while our Face-LLaVA significantly outperforms existing open-source models with a small amount of training data and is comparable to commercial ones like GPT-4o and Gemini. Previous methods often utilize CLIP semantic classifiers with class names for zero-shot object counting. However, they ignore crucial density and depth knowledge for counting tasks. Thus, we propose a density-aware and depth-aware prompt counting model, which captures density information via learning density-aware prompts based on density-aware contrastive loss and incorporates depth guidance with predefined depth-aware prompts. To facilitate the training process, we design two strategies for standard counting loss and the contrastive loss, where the former prioritizes larger and sparser objects initially, gradually focusing on smaller and denser objects, and the latter adopts coarse-to-fine density learning. Besides, we construct a dataset named LVIS-372 with more real-world scenarios and balanced instance distribution compared to existing ones. Finally, the experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method.

Payment channel hub (PCH) is a promising approach for payment channel networks (PCNs) to improve efficiency by deploying robust hubs to steadily process off-chain transactions. However, existing PCHs, often preplaced without considering payment request distribution across PCNs, can lead to load imbalance. PCNs' reliance on source routing, which makes decisions based solely on individual sender requests, can degrade performance by overlooking other requests, thus further impairing scalability. In this paper, we introduce Splicer+, a highly scalable multi-PCH solution based on the trusted execution environment (TEE). We study tradeoffs in communication overhead between participants, transform the original NP-hard PCH placement problem by mixed-integer linear programming, and propose optimal/approximate solutions with load balancing for different PCN scales using supermodular techniques. Considering global PCN states and local directly connected sender requests, we design a deadlock-free routing protocol for PCHs. It dynamically adjusts the payment processing rate across multiple channels and, combined with TEE, ensures high-performance routing with confidential computation. We provide a formal security proof for the Splicer+ protocol in the UC-framework. Extensive evaluations demonstrate the effectiveness of Splicer+, with transaction success ratio (↑51.1%), throughput (↑181.5%), and latency outperforming state-of-the-art PCNs. In unmanned aerial systems, especially in complex environments, accurately detecting tiny objects is crucial. Resizing images is a common strategy to improve detection accuracy, particularly for small objects. However, simply enlarging images significantly increases computational costs and the number of negative samples, severely degrading detection performance and limiting its applicability. This paper proposes a Dynamic Pooling Network (DPNet) for tiny object detection to mitigate these issues. DPNet employs a flexible down-sampling strategy by introducing a factor (df) to relax the fixed down-sampling process of the feature map to an adjustable one. Furthermore, we design a lightweight predictor to predict df for each input image, which will be used to decrease the resolution of feature map in backbone. Thus, we achieve input-aware down-sampling. We design an Adaptive Normalization Module (ANM) to make a unified detector well compatible with different dfs. At the same time, we also design a guidance loss to supervise the predictor’s training. DPNet realizes the dynamic allocation of computing resources to trade off detection accuracy and efficiency through this. Experiments on the TinyCOCO and TinyPerson datasets show that our DPNet can save over 35% and 25% GFLOPs, respectively, while maintaining comparable detection *** code will be made publicly available. © 2014 IEEE.

An Efficiency Enhanced Graphene/n-Si Schottky Junction for Solar Cells

A novel and facile oxidation-induced self-doping process of graphene-silicon Schottky junction by nitric acid（HNO3） vapor is reported. The HNO3 oxidation process makes graphene p-type self-doped, and leads to a higher built-in potential and conductivity to enhance charge transfer and to suppress charge carrier recombination at the graphene-silicon Schottky junction. After the HNO3 oxidation process, the open-circuit voltage is increased from the initial value of 0.36 V to the maximum value of 0.47 V, the short-circuit current is greatly increased from 0.80μA to 7.71μA, and the ideality factor is optimized from 4.4 to 1.0. The enhancement of the performance of graphene-Si solar cells may be due to oxidation-induced p-type self-doping of graphene-Si junctions.

Improving detection definition is a pivotal problem for intrusion detection. Many intelligent algorithms were used to improve the detection rate and reduce the false rate. Traditional SOM cannot provide the precise clustering results to us, while traditional K-Means depends on the initial value serious and it is difficult to find the center of cluster easily. Therefore, in this paper we introduce a new algorithm, first, we use SOM gained roughly clusters and center of clusters, then, using K-Means refine the clustering in the SOM stage. At last of this paper we take KDD CUP-99 dataset to test the performance of the new algorithm. The new algorithm overcomes the defects of traditional algorithms effectively. Experimental results show that the new algorithm has a good stability of efficiency and clustering accuracy. © 2010 IEEE.
