—Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have emerged as the potential aerial base stations (BSs) to improve terrestrial communications. However, the limited onboard energy and antenna power of a UAV restrict its communication range and transmission capability. To address these limitations, this work employs collaborative beamforming through a UAV-enabled virtual antenna array to improve transmission performance from the UAV to terrestrial mobile users, under interference from non-associated BSs and dynamic channel conditions. Specifically, we introduce a memory-based random walk model to more accurately depict the mobility patterns of terrestrial mobile users. Following this, we formulate a multi-objective optimization problem (MOP) focused on maximizing the transmission rate while minimizing the flight energy consumption of the UAV swarm. Given the NP-hard nature of the formulated MOP and the highly dynamic environment, we transform this problem into a multi-objective Markov decision process and propose an improved evolutionary multi-objective reinforcement learning algorithm. Specifically, this algorithm introduces an evolutionary learning approach to obtain the approximate Pareto set for the formulated MOP. Moreover, the algorithm incorporates a long short-term memory network and hyper-sphere-based task selection method to discern the movement patterns of terrestrial mobile users and improve the diversity of the obtained Pareto set. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method effectively generates a diverse range of non-dominated policies and outperforms existing methods. Additional simulations demonstrate the scalability and robustness of the proposed CB-based method under different system parameters and various unexpected circumstances. © 2025 Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.. In the context of the publication of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for Educational Informationization," and China’s entry into the era of education informatization, the integration of information technology and STEM education has become research hot topic. This article uses visualization tools to analyze STEM education literature from 2016 to 2023, summarizes the current status of STEM education research in China, and identifies four research hotspots: research on the application of information technology to broaden the sources and design forms of STEM courses, research on the adaptability of STEM teachers to educational technology reforms, research on the mutual learning of STEM education and maker education under the background of "Internet+". And research on the transition from STEM Education to STEAM Education in the era of Educational Informatization. It also identifies five research trends: research on the participation of the whole people in promoting the Development of STEM Education, research on promoting the Integration of STEM Education and Creator Education, research on the Integration of STEM Education and Deep Learning assisted by emerging Technologies, research on two-way empowerment of STEM education and artificial intelligence, research on STEM Teachers’ Professional Development to meet the needs of Educational Information era. Finally, development suggestions are proposed for the problems existing in the development of STEM education under the background of educational informatization, which can provide references for the reform and innovation of STEM education in the future. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Under the background of China Education Modernization 2035 and Education 4.0, promoting the integration and innovation of intelligent technology and basic education evaluation is the necessary path for education evaluation reform in the new era. Using visualization tools, interdisciplinary research method and literature research method, this paper systematically analyses the current situation of research on basic education evaluation and systematically describes the various achievements of basic education evaluation based on intelligent technology in China from three stages of rapid, fluctuating and stable rise. It also reveals the problems existing in the practice of basic education evaluation. Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) is one of the current research hotspots. However, in visual SLAM for dynamic environments, inaccurate detection of object motion states and incomplete dynamic region culling will lead to large localization errors. To address these issues, this paper proposes an RGB-D SLAM method based on feature association. The method has strongly correlated features in time and space according to the input image sequence. Using the moving probability of the feature points in the previous frame, the movement of the feature points in the current frame is calculated in combination with the dynamic corner points screened in the current frame. Then, the motion state of the object is determined according to the proportion of different feature points. Then combined with semantic information and object depth information, the fast search method is used to obtain accurate dynamic regions. Finally, the selected effective feature points are used to estimate the camera pose and establish a static map of the environment. This paper evaluates the robustness and accuracy of our method on the TUM dataset and real environment, and the results show that our method can significantly improve the system tracking effect and reduce the system tracking error compared with other SLAM methods in dynamic environments. © 2022 IEEE.

Most of the existing slam algorithms are designed based on the assumption of a static environment, this strong assumption limits the practical application of most slam systems. The main reason is that moving objects will cause feature mismatch in the pose estimation process, which in turn affects the accuracy of localization and mapping. In this paper, we propose a SLAM algorithm in a dynamic environment. First, we use the BlendMask network to detect potential moving objects to generate masks for dynamic objects. The geometrically constrained joint optical flow method is used to detect dynamic feature points. Secondly, aiming at the failure of semantic segmentation network segmentation, a missed detection compensation algorithm based on the invariance of adjacent frame speed is proposed. Finally, a keyframe selection strategy is proposed to construct a semantic octree graph containing only static objects. We evaluate our algorithm on TUM RGB-D and real scene datasets. The experimental results show that the algorithm has high accuracy and real-time performance. © 2022 IEEE.

Community detection algorithms play an important role in revealing and analyzing complex network structures. However, when these algorithms are put into practice, privacy concerns often arise, especially when community nodes wish to safeguard their identities from exposure. This interaction between network analysis and privacy issues leads to what we refer to as the "community hiding problem." In the context of concealing specific target communities, popular methods primarily focus on preventing community detection algorithms from accurately identifying the entire original community, resulting in partial concealment. This study formally addresses the challenge of achieving complete concealment of target communities. We introduce key metrics such as escape scores, dispersion scores, and hiding scores to precisely define the problem. Additionally, we design a metric, denoted as M-value, to evaluate the effectiveness of concealing target communities from multiple perspectives. To tackle this challenge, we employ a genetic algorithm that leverages previous knowledge to maximize the concealment of the target community while minimizing changes to link connections. We validate our approach through extensive experiments with various real-world datasets, demonstrating that our algorithm outperforms several state-of-the-art baseline algorithms across multiple metrics. Visual representations of our method confirm its ability to effectively hide target communities while minimally affecting the broader network's community structure, strengthening the inherent effectiveness of our community hiding approach. Furthermore, we assess the adaptability of our modified network with different community detection algorithms, consistently demonstrating effective concealment even when these algorithms are extended. This emphasizes the robustness and generality of our proposed approach in various algorithmic scenarios.

Semi-Supervised Learning (SSL) under class distribution mismatch aims to tackle a challenging problem wherein unlabeled data contain lots of unknown categories unseen in the labeled ones. In such mismatch scenarios, traditional SSL suffers severe performance damage due to the harmful invasion of the instances with unknown categories into the target classifier. In this study, by strict mathematical reasoning, we reveal that the SSL error under class distribution mismatch is composed of pseudo-labeling error and invasion error, both of which jointly bound the SSL population risk. To alleviate the SSL error, we propose a robust SSL framework called Weight-Aware Distillation (WAD) that, by weights, selectively transfers knowledge beneficial to the target task from unsupervised contrastive representation to the target classifier. Specifically, WAD captures adaptive weights and high-quality pseudo-labels to target instances by exploring point mutual information (PMI) in representation space to maximize the role of unlabeled data and filter unknown categories. Theoretically, we prove that WAD has a tight upper bound of population risk under class distribution mismatch. Experimentally, extensive results demonstrate that WAD outperforms five state-of-the-art SSL approaches and one standard baseline on two benchmark datasets, CIFAR10 and CIFAR100, and an artificial cross-dataset. In edge computing (EC), resource allocation is to allocate computing, storage and networking resources on the edge nodes (ENs) efficiently and reasonably to tasks generated by users. Due to the resource-limitation of ENs, the tasks often need to compete for the resources. Pricing mechanisms are widely used to deal with the resource allocation problem, and the valuations of tasks play a critical role in the price mechanisms. However, users naturally are not willing to expose the valuations of their tasks due to conflicts of interests. Current research works usually adopt truthful auctions to motivate the users to report honestly the valuations of their tasks. In this paper, we introduce the marginal value to estimate the valuations of tasks, and propose a marginal value-based pricing mechanism using the incentive theory, which motivates the tasks with higher marginal values to actively request more resources. The EC platform sets the resource prices using the price mechanism, and then the users determine their resource requests relying on the resource prices and the valuations of their tasks. After receiving the deadline-sensitive tasks from the users, the resource allocation can be modeled as a knapsack problem with the deadline constraints. Extensive experimental results demonstrate that our approach is computationally efficient and is promising in enhancing the utility of the EC platform and the tasks. © 2023 IEEE.

Relation clustering is a general approach for open relation extraction (OpenRE). Current methods have two major problems. One is that their good performance relies on large amounts of labeled and pre-defined relational instances for pre-training, which are costly to acquire in reality. The other is that they only focus on learning a high-dimensional metric space to measure the similarity of novel relations and ignore the specific relational representations of clusters. In this work, we propose a new prompt-based framework named MatchPrompt, which can realize OpenRE with efficient knowledge transfer from only a few predefined relational instances as well as mine the specific meanings for cluster interpretability. To our best knowledge, we are the first to introduce a prompt-based framework for unlabeled clustering. Experimental results on different datasets show that MatchPrompt achieves the new SOTA results for OpenRE. © 2022 Association for Computational Linguistics.
