With the increasing proliferation of the Mobile Social Networks (MSN) and the Location Based Service (LBS), location privacy has attracted broad attention in recent years. Most researches have been done with the assumption that the server is untrusted and a trusted third party is introduced to protect the user location privacy when a user sends queries for the location service. In this paper, we reconsider this assumption and propose a Personalized and Flexible location privacy protection Model (PFM) based on user relationship strength. We conduct researches in the situation that the server is trusted while malicious users in the MSN can disguise as a friend to break location privacy. We present an entropic TF-IDF based approach to measure the bi-directional relationship strength and propose probability distribution based cloaking model to protect user location privacy. We thoroughly evaluate our methods based on Quality of Privacy (QoP) via real and synthetic data. © 2015 IEEE.

An incremental method of feature selection based on mutual information, called incremental Max-Relevance, and Min-Redundancy (I-mRMR), is presented. I-mRMR is an incremental version of Max-Relevance, and Min-Redundancy feature selection (mRMR), which is used to handle streaming data or large-scale data. First, Incremental key Instance Set is proposed which composes of the non-distinguished instances by the historical selected features. Second, an incremental feature selection algorithm is designed in which the incremental key instance set, replacing of all the seen instances so far, is used in the process of adding representative features. Since the Incremental key Instance Set is far less than the whole instances, the incremental feature selection by using this key set avoids redundant computation and save computation time and space. Finally, the experimental results show that I-mRMR could significantly or even dramatically reduce the time of feature selection with an acceptable classification accuracy. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Meta-GPS++: Enhancing Graph Meta-Learning with Contrastive Learning and Self-Training

Node classification is an essential problem in graph learning. However, many models typically obtain unsatisfactory performance when applied to few-shot scenarios. Some studies have attempted to combine meta-learning with graph neural networks to solve few-shot node classification on graphs. Despite their promising performance, some limitations remain. First, they employ the node encoding mechanism of homophilic graphs to learn node embeddings, even in heterophilic graphs. Second, existing models based on meta-learning ignore the interference of randomness in the learning process. Third, they are trained using only limited labeled nodes within the specific task, without explicitly utilizing numerous unlabeled nodes. Finally, they treat almost all sampled tasks equally without customizing them for their uniqueness. To address these issues, we propose a novel framework for few-shot node classification called Meta-GPS. Specifically, we first adopt an efficient method to learn discriminative node representations on homophilic and heterophilic graphs. Then, we leverage a prototype-based approach to initialize parameters and contrastive learning for regularizing the distribution of node embeddings. Moreover, we apply self-Training to extract valuable information from unlabeled nodes. Additionally, we adopt S (scaling and shifting) transformation to learn transferable knowledge from diverse tasks. The results on real-world datasets show the superiority of Meta-GPS. Both Content analysis and link, analysis have its advantages in measuring relationships among documents. In this paper. we propose a new method to combine these two methods to compute the similarity of research papers so that we can do clustering of these papers more accurately. In order to improve the efficiency of similarity calculation, we develop a strategy to deal with the relationship graph separately, without affecting the accuracy. We also design an approach to assign different weights to different links to the papers, which can enhance the accuracy of similarity calculation. The experimental results conducted oil ACM data Set show that our new algorithm. S-SimRank, outperforms other algorithms.

In the field of robust audio watermarking,how to seek a good trade-off between robustness and imperceptibility is challenging. The existing studies use the same embedding parameter for each part of the audio signal, which ignores that different parts may have different requirements for embedding parameters. In this work, the constraints on imperceptibility are first ***, we present a segment multi-objective optimization model of the scaling parameter under the constrained Signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) in Spread spectrum(SS)audio watermarking. Additionally, we adopt the Nondominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ(NSGA-Ⅱ) to solve the proposed model. Finally, we compare our algorithm(called SS-SNR-NSGA-Ⅱ) with the existing methods. The experimental results show that the proposed SS-SNRNSGA-Ⅱ not only provides flexible choices for different application demands but also achieves more and better trade-offs between imperceptibility and robustness.

Service robots play an increasingly important role in people's daily life. The density of pedestrians is large and the movement is irregular in pedestrian-robot mixed traffic flows. Robots are prone to collision with pedestrians, and the tasks to be offloaded are closely related to pedestrians. How to analyze the tasks of robots and select the appropriate roadside unit is an important issue. In this paper, the social force model is used to predict the positions of pedestrians and robots, taking into account the influence of various forces to avoid collisions. A task offloading resource optimization algorithm with position prediction is proposed. According to the predicted information, the size and position distribution of all tasks in the scenario are obtained, and then the neural network trained beforehand based on deep Q-Iearning is used to generate a task offloading strategy. The simulation results show that the running time of the proposed algorithm is very short, and the resource allocation required for task offloading is completed in advance based on the predicted information before robots arriving the corresponding positions. Besides, the algorithm significantly reduces the task offloading delay. © 2022 IEEE.

knowledge Graph (KG) is a directed heterogeneous information network that contains a large number of entities and relations, which is widely used as effective side information in rec-ommender systems. Moreover, in recommender systems, the Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) model is introduced to mine the relatedness between entities in a KG because of its efficiency in extracting spatial features on topological graphs. The knowledge Graph Convolutional Network (KGCN) model up-dates the embedding of a currently positioned entity by aggregating the information of adjacent entities selected randomly. Never-theless, it has two limititations: 1) the information of neighbors se-lected randomly cannot accurately represent the current entity in the KG;2) the model is hard to converge as graph features (i.e. The spatial relation features and semantic information features of en-tities in the KG) grow. To solve these limitations, in this paper, a meta-path (i.e., a sequence of artificially constructed relationships) is introduced into the selection of neighbors in the KGCN model to enhance the representation of each entity. Furthermore, two construction methods of the meta-path - constructing a meta-path based on the same relation (KGCN-SP) and the characteris-tics of KG (KGCN-MP) -are proposed. The experiments based on three real-world datasets demonstrate that the neighbor selection based on the meta-path is able to collect more accurate infor-mation from a KG and improve the recommendation performance effectively. © 2021 IEEE.

Extracting justifications for web ontology language(OWL)ontologies is an important mission in ontology *** this paper,we focus on black-box techniques which are based on ontology *** creating a recursive expansion procedure,all elements which are called critical axioms in the justification are explored one by *** this detection procedure,an axiom selection function is used to avoid testing irrelevant *** addition,an incremental reasoning procedure has been proposed in order to substitute series of standard reasoning tests *** is implemented by employing a pseudo model to detect“obvious”satisfiability *** experimental results show that our proposed strategy for extracting justifications for OWL ontologies by adopting incremental expansion is superior to traditional Black-box methods in terms of efficiency and performance.

FortisAVQA and MAVEN: a Benchmark dataset and Debiasing Framework for Robust Multimodal Reasoning

Audio-Visual Question Answering (AVQA) is a challenging multimodal reasoning task requiring intelligent systems to answer natural language queries based on paired audio-video inputs accurately. However, existing AVQA approaches often suffer from overfitting to dataset biases, leading to poor robustness. Moreover, current datasets may not effectively diagnose these methods. To address these challenges, we first introduce a novel dataset, FortisAVQA, constructed in two stages: (1) rephrasing questions in the test split of the public MUSIC-AVQA dataset and (2) introducing distribution shifts across questions. The first stage expands the test space with greater diversity, while the second enables a refined robustness evaluation across rare, frequent, and overall question distributions. Second, we introduce a robust Multimodal Audio-Visual Epistemic Network (MAVEN) that leverages a multifaceted cycle collaborative debiasing strategy to mitigate bias learning. Experimental results demonstrate that our architecture achieves state-of-the-art performance on FortisAVQA, with a notable improvement of 7.81%. Extensive ablation studies on both datasets validate the effectiveness of our debiasing components. Additionally, our evaluation reveals the limited robustness of existing multimodal QA methods. We also verify the plug-and-play capability of our strategy by integrating it with various baseline models across both datasets.
