Amorphous multi-element materials offer unprecedented tunability in composition and properties, yet their rational design remains challenging due to the lack of predictive structure-property relationships and the vast configurational space. Traditional modeling struggles to capture the intricate short-range order that dictates their stability and functionality. We here introduce ApolloX, a pioneering predictive framework for amorphous multi-element materials, establishing a new paradigm by integrating physics-informed generative modeling with particle swarm optimization, using chemical short-range order as an explicit constraint. By systematically navigating the disordered energy landscape, ApolloX enables the targeted design of thermodynamically stable amorphous configurations. It accurately predicts atomic-scale arrangements, including composition-driven metal clustering and amorphization trends, which are well-validated by experiments, while also guiding synthesis by leveraging sluggish diffusion to control elemental distribution and disorder. The resulting structural evolution, governed by composition, directly impacts catalytic performance, leading to improved activity and stability with increasing amorphization. This predictive-experimental synergy transforms the discovery of amorphous materials, unlocking new frontiers in catalysis, energy storage, and functional disordered systems. Recently, listwise ranking-oriented collaborative filtering (CF) algorithms have gained great success in recommender systems. However, the ranked preference list may compromise the privacy of individuals. A notable paradigm for offering strong privacy guarantee is differential privacy. In this paper, we propose DPListCF, a differentially private algorithm based on ListCF (a state-of-art listwise CF algorithm). The main idea of DPListCF is to make both of the similarity calculation phase and rank prediction phase of ListCF satisfy differential privacy, by using input perturbation method and output perturbation method in the two phases respectively. Extensive experiments using two real datasets evaluate the performance of DPListCF, and demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms state-of-art approaches.

Trusted platform module (TPM) has little computation capability, and it is the performance bottleneck of remote attestation. In the scenario where the server is the attestation-busy entity which answers attestation requirement frequently, the massive delay is inevitable. Without the modification to TPM, we propose Batch Integrity Report Protocol (BIRP) to overcome the performance bottleneck. B-IRP bundles these requirements in interval as a batch requirement, and creates the response messages for these requirements with one expensive TPM operation. Discussion shows that B-IRP has improved the performance without loss of security. © 2011 IEEE.

LS2 is the logic to reason about the property of trusted computing. However, it lacks the capability of modeling the isolation provided by virtualization which is often involved in previous trusted computing system. With the support of changed LS2, we model three types of isolation. Moreover, we formally analyze the integrity measurement property of Trust Visor proposed recently which provides the isolated execution environment for security-sensitive code. © 2011 IEEE.

Developing an integration management system for business continuity, records and knowledge (IMS of BRK) is beneficial to the collaboration, optimization and innovation of business continuity management system (BCMS), records management system (RMS) and knowledge management system (KMS) for organization. Comprehensive research and development requirements along with a cogent framework, however, have not been proposed for integrating three of them, which were proposed independently. Based on situational analysis of cross boundaries integration feasibilities in terms of common understandings, general principles and best practice frameworks from relevant national and international standards, this paper proposes integration thinking to combine the advantages of the three paradigms to sustainable competitive advantages;supported by international best practices, the authors propose an integration route covering five levels of integration framework, two integration approaches and three integration controls for dynamic accumulation, sharing and exchange of evidence, memory and knowledge in digital world and global competition. © 2010 IEEE.

Since the proposition of Journal Impact Factor [1] in 1963, the classical citation-based ranking scheme has been a standard criterion to rank journals and conferences. However, the reference of a paper cannot list all relevant publications and the citation relationships are not always available especially when related to copyright problem. Besides, we cannot evaluate a newly published paper before it is cited by others. Therefore, we propose an alternative method, term-based evaluation scheme which can evaluate publications by terms they use. Then we can rank conferences, journals and scholars accordingly. We think this term-based ranking scheme can be used to evaluate innovation quality for conferences and scholars. To evaluate our scheme and to facilitate its application, we develop an innovation ranking system called IRank to rank conferences and authors in the field of database Systems. The performance of IRank demonstrates the effectiveness of our scheme. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2009.

Every univariate Hermite interpolation problem can be written as a pointwise limit of Lagrange ***,this property is not preserved for the multivariate *** this paper,the authors first generalize the result of *** an application,the authors consider the discrete approximation problem for a special case when the interpolation condition contains all partial derivatives of order less than n and one nth order differential *** addition,for the case of n≥3,the authors use the concept of Cartesian tensors to give a sufficient condition to find a sequence of discrete points,such that the Lagrange interpolation problems at these points converge to the given Hermite-type interpolant.

Various algorithms of traditional visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) can well match with static scenes, but mismatches will occur in dynamic scenes, which makes the positioning and mapping of the SLAM system produce large errors. Therefore, this paper proposed a visual odometry algorithm based on semantic feature points, which can improve the positioning accuracy in dynamic scenes. The algorithm combined semantic information to detect dynamic objects, and then detects and eliminates dynamic feature points. This paper conducted an extensive evaluation of the system and compared it with ORB-SLAM3 and other dynamic scene SLAM systems. The experimental results show that this method greatly improves the positioning accuracy of the camera and the robustness of the system in a highly complex dynamic environment, which verifies the advancement and effectiveness of the algorithm in this paper. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

With the increasing proliferation of the Mobile Social Networks (MSN) and the Location Based Service (LBS), location privacy has attracted broad attention in recent years. Most researches have been done with the assumption that the server is untrusted and a trusted third party is introduced to protect the user location privacy when a user sends queries for the location service. In this paper, we reconsider this assumption and propose a Personalized and Flexible location privacy protection Model (PFM) based on user relationship strength. We conduct researches in the situation that the server is trusted while malicious users in the MSN can disguise as a friend to break location privacy. We present an entropic TF-IDF based approach to measure the bi-directional relationship strength and propose probability distribution based cloaking model to protect user location privacy. We thoroughly evaluate our methods based on Quality of Privacy (QoP) via real and synthetic data.

It is a challenge to verify integrity of dynamic control flows due to their dynamic and volatile nature. To meet the challenge, existing solutions usually implant an ＂attachment＂ in each control transfer. However, the attachment introduces additional cost except performance penalty. For example, the attachment must be unique or restrictedly modified. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to detect integrity of dynamic control flows by counting executed branch instructions without involving any attachment. Our solution is based on the following observation. If a control flow is compromised, the number of executed branch instructions will be abnormally increased. The cause is that intruders usually hijack control flows for malicious execution which absolutely introduces additional branch instructions. Inspired by the above observation, in this paper, we devise a novel system named DCFI- Checker, which detect integrity corruption of dynamic control flows with the support of Performance Monitoring Counter （PMC）. We have developed a proof-of-concept prototype system of DCFI-Checker on Linux fedora 5. Our experiments with existing kemel rootkits and buffer overflow attack show that DCFI- Checker is effective to detect compromised dynamic control transfer, and performance evaluations indicate that performance penaltyinduced by DCFI-Checker is acceptable.
