A real-time vehicle tracking method is proposed for trattlC monitoring system at roau mte^cc- tions, and the vehicle tracking module consists of an initialization stage and a tracking stage. Li- cense plate location based on edge density and color analysis is used to detect the license plate re- gion for tracking initialization. In the tracking stage, covariance matching is employed to track the license plate. Genetic algorithm is used to reduce the computational cost. Real-time image tracking of multi-lane vehicles is achieved. In the experiment, test videos are recorded in advance by record- ers of actual E-police systems erage false detection rate and at several different city intersections. In the tracking module, the av- missed plates rate are 1.19%, and 1.72%, respectively.

Aiming at the problem about the nonlinear function and the mechanical zero offset in the vibration system of continuous casting mold driven by servo motor, a discrete auto disturbance rejection control(ADRC) with nonlinear function processing algorithm is proposed. Firstly, for the nonlinear multi solutions problem existing between rotation angle and displacement of mold, a nonlinear algorithm is proposed to get the practical phase difference of eccentric shaft. The algorithm is achieved by calculating the time difference between ideal time of arrival and actual time of arrival at the same position. Secondly, the mathematical model of vibration system is discretized by using the Euler method, and an ADRC is designed to estimate the eccentric shaft mechanical zero offset and load disturbance, and then compensate and weaken the position error. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method.

Many parameters in a laser based powder bed fusion process affect the part property. In this research, experiments were designed to study how scanning pattern affects the properties of printed 17-4 PH stainless steel parts. Five different representative scanning patterns were adopted. Micro hardness, density and energy consumption values of the sample parts were analyzed. Micro hardness was evenly distributed, and above the standard hardness value. Hardness in cross section is generally higher than that in vertical section. Density of parts in concentric line pattern is the lowest, and continuous mesh is the highest. Using continuous mesh, it consumed more energy than others.

In this paper, a projection-base algorithm is proposed for solving the constrained L 1 -minimization problem. Furthermore, the algorithm is utilized to sparse signal reconstruction. The L 1 -minimization is first converted into some equations which are described by the projections onto a hyper box set and the nonnegative quadrant. Then a iterative algorithm is proposed for solving the L 1 -minimization problem. Next, the algorithm is applied to sparse signal reconstruction described as an L 1 -minimization problem subject to L ∞ -norm noise constraint, or equivalently bound constraint. Finally, several experiments are presented to show the performance of the proposed algorithm.

In order to improve the displacement control precision of continuous casting mold, the establishment of precise mathematical model of non-sinusoidal vibration displacement control system is important. The modeling method of BP neural network optimized by genetic algorithm is adopted, which can solve the problem of the mechanism modeling of various approximate treatments. Firstly the system model of BP neural network is constructed according to the measured data received from industrial field. Secondly, BP neural network model of genetic optimization is built. Then simulations are eventually performed, and then by comparing the error between the predicted displacement outputs of BP neural network optimized by genetic algorithm and the actual output displacement of the system, the simulation results show that the system error of the identified model is within 4%, and the identification method of BP neural network optimized by genetic algorithm is superior to the mechanism modeling.
